Hi! First of all it's a very cute game. :) It took me a bit of time to get familiar with, even with reading the intro beforehand. Maybe some UI feedback when using the phone could be nice too. Maybe being able to go faster when penguins are walking, and being able to destroy / rebuild the paved road when making a mistake could be a nice add! Bust still, it was fun to play!
The first game I've been through completely on this Jam. Great game, very nice and cute. The music is very nice. I thought the levels were easier at the end, I would have loved to play something like this with deeper mechanics and elaboration. Great entry! (Song at the end is priceless) 2023-05-02 180442.png
Very pretty cute little puzzler. My wife and daughter loved the penguins!
It's very well done, and the graphics are cute and enjoyable. The difficulty is just enough to make it fun.
LOVED the aesthetics here, especially the tile art. Amazing work. I do wish there was a little more puzzle variety — a lot of levels felt like they had similar solutions. I also wish there was a way to undo/remove paths (unless I missed something). Other than that it was very enjoyable and well put together. Congrats!

A few notes: - I'd be cool, if the high ice blocks would overlap the sprites of houses and penguins instead of the otehr way around - add RMB to remove roads - it would be a more satisfying experience, if you could build roads by holding the LMB while hovering the tiles instead of having to click every single tile - the TAB menu feels a bit unnecessary to be honest. I'd rather have the three colour buttons on the screen at the top or bottom at all times and being able to switch between them with key controls (Q-W-E f.e.)
I hope you continue to polish your game and add a few more levels or features for new level designs. Cheers :fish:

A few additions that would make it even better: * Instructions of the controls ín the game, especially for the phone * The pinguins('s sprites) moving towards the point they're walking to. * the ability to hold down the left mouse button while building the paths

Really cute puzzler with a super cute style! Maybe it's just because I've played a lot of Flow, but I wish the puzzles were a bit more difficult - I solved most of them at a glance. Still, really well done overall!

Thanks for your game. The mechanic is simple and the puzzle is fun. Unfortunately, I failed to know how it works at the beginning, even though there is a guide on the web. I think a in game guide would be better! Anyway, welcome to play my game as well.
I know you probably fixed some of this stuff in the post jam version but I'll be rating you on the initial Jam version. This was a cute puzzle game that wasn't overly challenging but not too easy either. I liked the art I just wish the penguins would look in the direction they are walking. I'm sure there are many things that your team would've liked to implement but time constraints got in the way. It was a little confusing why I needed to open up a menu to change the color of the road I could build. It might have been easier to just click on a penguin to start building their color. I appreciate the number of levels you put together. Nice Job!

nice little puzzle game here. with a nice atmospshere and chill music. the gameplay itself however got a bit old after a few levels. I found myself just choosing the longest path for each color and that seemed to work 100% of the time - it didnt get much more challenging than that. Despite that, the game felt complete and well put together. nice work! 😊

Super cute! I love the art style and music! Gameplay was on the simple side but still fun nonetheless. I feel like the menus were a bit confusing and I would have appreciated a bit more of a challenge with the puzzles. Overall great job though!

we thought you’d like to see the new post ld version of our little project. we’ve been working on our game (also took your advices) and changed/added some things for the better and smoother gaming experience (we added tutorial, menu, penguins naming, smoother building roads controls, etc. you can check everything in description)
we’re now working on improving the color selection ui for a more pleasant usage, but for now it remains the same

Nice idea for the topic. Really liked the chill music and the art style. I found the puzzles a bit easy, just went through without thinking much. Maybe as some already mentioned, additional mechanics can spize it up. Overall a nice contribution to this game jam!
It was cute and funny. Penguin with breasts is the best humor for me.
If I can be constructive, I would prefer some more difficult puzzles. I would aprreciated tutorial and think the controls could be friendlier. Change color is too complicated

I'm a really big fan of the music. It set such a good vibe and was a real highlight of the game for me. I enjoyed the chill (no pun intended) puzzles, and the cute graphics. Super awesome work.
@satacat downloaded it again and I really like the changes, and while I finished the game pretty quickly, I had a new thought ^^' if you add more levels, or even keep as much as you have now, it would be nice to see the number of the level represented on the screen, like maybe: level 1/10 (so we know which lvl we are on now and how many there are!) The puzzle part was pretty easy (though I enjoyed it), so maybe in the future you can add harder difficulty for example, for people who want something more challenging ^^
Loved the aesthetic of the game. I found it pretty easy and would have liked to see additional mechanics introduced throughout the game that add more challenges. The music really enhanced the vibe of the game!
