LD43 — Sacrifices must be made

Super Sellout by Moski 2018-12-06T04:47:08Z

The game was really fun and hilarious. Everything from the art to the audio to the gameplay was incredibly polished. My favorite thing was putting on all of the different ads and just seeing how completely messed up things got.

This is definitely a game that I could see myself playing outside of a game jam. It would be cool to see what you guys could do without any time constraints.

I had a lot of fun playing this great game!

Jesus Take the Wheel by PeachTreeOath 2018-12-05T01:59:54Z

A pretty ridiculous game and I really enjoyed it! It was so chaotic trying to keep everyone from dying. Also it seems like pedestrians in this universe can run as fast as cars based on their movement. I loved the theme and that Jesus was fantastic. Overall very fun and interesting.

Hell Well by Incredible Ape 2018-12-05T01:00:01Z

Pretty cool game. I really liked the pixel art. The different powers took a bit to get used to. The bones of the game are solid and I would be interested to see a finished version with audio and anything else you didnt have time to do.

Quest For Gory by Erasmus Crowley 2018-12-05T08:57:01Z

Short but effective. I liked the point and click aspect of the game. It wouldve been nice for it to be a bit longer but I think its fine when you take the time frame into consideration. Overall it was cool and fun.

Mindu's Hope by Bendev_Games 2018-12-05T01:28:14Z

The game was pretty interesting and fun. I had some trouble with the controls but once they started working, things went a lot smoother. It was a simple game but I had fun playing it.

Volcano Island by Arvejeitor 2018-12-05T01:07:26Z

Simple but effective. It is essential the game simon but with throwing the right person into the volcano. It could have been more challenging to keep interest. Overall it was a fun game.

Omnibar by DubThink 2018-12-05T01:50:11Z

Interesting concept and I liked the goo-like effect you had in the center. Though it seemed to serve no purpose it looked cool. The controls are a bit sluggish and the projectile gun forces you to be point blank range to hit anything. Would've like to see maybe some enemy variation or have them moving around. Overall some of its aspects are pretty neat.

Sacrifice LUL by jdelaay025johnd1788 2018-12-04T23:53:09Z

Interesting game. I was a little confused on what the overall objective was, it wasnt super clear. The overall controls were a bit muddled. I had to keep looking at the controls to figure out what I was doing. Another thing that I noticed was the people kept gathering in large groups in the corners of the map and would start to bug out if too many were there. Once those things got out of the way it was enjoyable it just needs that extra step to be taken. Overall I liked the concept and I think you made good use of the theme.

Birds in Space by PopDaddyGames 2018-12-05T07:55:16Z

Cool game. I really liked the bird graphics and gameplay was fun. I never really saw the need for shield or health because it was fairly easy to dodge the asteroids. The game was pretty relaxing so it wouldve been nice for a bit of a challenge but overall the gameplay was fun. Since you started this game before the jam I didn't really see how the theme played in at all other than a text box at the end. I would like the sacrifice aspect to be more fleshed out. Other than that great game.

Fight For Your Light by Raivk 2018-12-04T23:35:44Z

Once I got over how floaty the controls felt, I had fun playing. I really liked the atmosphere of the environment and the effects were pretty cool. It did feel like most of the time I couldn't make it to a generator before the enemies. Movement is kinda slow in comparison to them. Overall, great graphics and a lot of fun to play.

HoldOn by Eresia 2018-12-05T00:00:21Z

Its like twister but for your fingers which is a really cool idea. I had to hold the controller in ways that I never have before. The game does ramp up in difficulty pretty quickly so it is difficult to make it past 30 sec. If that is what you were going for then great, otherwise the scaling needs to be adjusted. Also in the menu I couldn't figure out how to close the game so I ended up using alt f4 which shouldn't be the only way to close a game. Overall I had fun playing and really liked your concept.

Grandma to hell by wyattis 2018-12-05T01:37:40Z

Wow I never knew that jumping on top of grandmas was so much fun. It would be nice to see other levels as I beat it fairly quickly. Or maybe some more variety in grandmas. The sections that you are supposed to ride a moving grandma could just be jumped through and that was easier than trying to stay on top. Overall it was a fun game with a great concept!

LD44 — Your life is currency

Seize the Clay by SecondDimension 2019-05-02T00:53:47Z

I absolutely love the art in this. It reminds me of a lot of childrens books, especially with the animal characters. Very cool concept as well. I really like trying to make the pots as close to the design as possible and enjoyed each of the mini games associated with it. I ended up playing for about 5 days before I started just selling cracked, paintless, shapeless, cylinders of clay and people still payed over $400 for each of them so it seemed impossible to lose at that point. Cool and unique with great art, my kind of game.

Energy Tanks by Ogniok 2019-04-29T23:07:22Z

Wow this game looks great! This is a lot of fun to play. I only played single player but it would definitely be fun with others. Great Job!

Talking About Death by ghodan 2019-05-03T08:27:16Z

You nailed the mood of this game. Everything is sort of dark and surreal which I thought was interesting.

Bankin' Bacon by arielsan 2019-05-02T01:46:36Z

I like the art style quite and I liked the twist on the theme. I didn't have an opportunity to play with someone else, but it was fun dashing around and shooting coins by myself. The music and sfx definitely fit the style of your game nicely. Good work!

The Legend of the Peixaralho by ShadowKitsune 2019-04-30T00:49:53Z

So when I first opened the game, the title was all blurry and I couldn't read it. The mechanics and theme made sense and I really liked the 3D work that was done. One of the things that seemed a bit off was when you change direction its possible to look towards the screen and a side scrolling game should just be left or right facing. Other than that it was a cool game, good work!

Elevator Pitch by Hugimugi7 2019-05-03T08:12:26Z

Having my boss blow up into a big pile of coins has never felt so good! The mechanics felt good, I just wish there was a bit more to it. It is definitely a good game to blow off steam about work. I'm sure the theme hit pretty close to home for a lot of people.

Infernum by slotha 2019-05-03T08:00:01Z

I like the simplistic art style and the clicking around to find objects remind me of old adventure games. I got a few endings although one of them was broken. I give props to anyone who has multiple endings in their game. I just wish it was easier to know what some of the objects were for because sometimes things didn't seem to make sense. I think with a little more work, you would definitely have something here. Also, audio goes a long way for creating mood and emotion so that would have been nice too.

Tanemaki by Wyatt 2019-04-29T23:18:39Z

This game is adorable. I loved rolling around and picking up the little seedlings. The atmosphere of the game was very relaxing and I could see myself playing this and just getting lost in it. Very cool game and art style.

Memories of a Captain by OwlyCode 2019-04-30T01:11:12Z

Great premise, one of the more creative uses of the theme and I like that. This game is definitely unique. The art is simple but effective and the story is cool too. All in all it was fun to play.

MEGATOID by GullynGames 2019-05-02T01:36:13Z

I think this game could use some audio. The gameplay was fun, but a few sound effects and music go a long way. That being said, the game was enjoyable and felt good to play. Another thing that you could have added if you had more time would be a way to get health back. After I bought one of the upgrades I didn't have enough for any others.

Cat# by Omickron 2019-05-02T00:16:57Z

Simple to control, but trying to move and shoot at the same time can be a bit awkward. I would also pretty much die from just one cheese shot and the upgrades didn't seem to help. I like the idea of the game and the art for the title screen is very nice. I also liked how level progression was shown like you are slowly climbing up all the boxes.

Top Hat Terror by neonjeff 2019-04-30T01:18:02Z

Wow those sound effects make the whole game. Getting a gigantic top hat was cool. You definitely show off the theme pretty well. The only thing I would say is that it is a bit too short/easy, but overall very fun.

This Game Blows by fibonacci1321 2019-04-30T00:34:57Z

Congratulations on sticking it out and submitting a complete game for your first jam! The game fit the theme and it works. I'm still trying to figure out if your title is a pun or you didn't like your own game haha. Keep it up!

Necrohill by Thilo 2019-04-29T22:42:13Z

I tried playing it a few times and couldn't figure out how the game actually works. I beat the first level but then the second level gave me some trouble. Maybe I missed something in the tutorial as an English speaker. I really enjoyed the art and music though.

InstaLifePlus by VoidAerun 2019-05-03T07:42:57Z

Wow I definitely completely ignored the text messages on my first play through. I didn't even know that it was my family at first because I was so focused on the tapping and swiping. Played it a second time realizing I should probably read those and I was able to get some story about the serial killer that came out of nowhere for me the first time around. Very cool concept and well executed, good job.

Zap by ArturNista 2019-05-03T07:29:21Z

I really liked the art for the characters. I just wish there was a bit more in the environment that fit that same style.

Live battle by CaOrJavier 2019-04-30T00:21:57Z

I thought the art and basic gameplay were good. I have a dual monitor setup and using mouse and keyboard controls allowed the mouse to move out of the game screen and I would lose control because I clicked out of the window. It did seem that after a while it never really got any harder, just more enemies. The balance of the upgrades seem a bit unbalanced because I could never think of an instance where I needed more distance over cadence which is the most powerful. Also as far as the art goes, I think the chromatic aberration is too high as it detracts from your beautiful character model. Overall, nice animations and character design but maybe needs a bit more thought on gameplay.

LD45 — Start with nothing

Revenge of the Waffles by ristoretto 2019-10-10T00:39:22Z

I now have a fear of waffles so thanks for that:) This game was pretty cool and I liked the design of the waffle enemies. After a while it got quite difficult to avoid all of those pesky waffles. Being able to shoot through enemies was great because you could take down a whole stack at a time. I kinda wish there was more room to move around in the level, but perhaps the close quarters adds to the challenge. Nice Work!

You Start With Nothing - Ludum Dare 45 Game by HappySnake 2019-10-11T20:35:28Z

The music is simple but relaxing and fits well with the low poly art style. The theme was immediately apparent in the design of the game. Is there a way to exit the game? I tried escape but it didn't work. Overall the game was simple but effective, nice work.

Ahoy! by tiptoe 2019-10-10T00:15:00Z

The graphics are what drew me in and made me want to play. The art style felt cohesive and everything fit in the world that you built. I thought the little leaf on your character was funny. The game was also engaging and fun, I just wish there was some sort of win state (unless im missing something). Even without a defined end the game was fun and relaxing to play. Great Work!

Polychromatic Escape by BLK Dragon 2019-10-11T20:47:03Z

Wow the change in gravity when you go over the edge of the cube is really cool. I did get stuck in between a red crystal and a wall and could not get out. Aside from that I enjoyed what I played. The character model was nice and I liked the overall environment. I would say that the movement of the character was a bit awkward at times. Nice work on the 3D!

Barterin' Buckaroo by chelC 2019-10-08T20:28:37Z

I absolutely loved the design of the characters and everything about the world. I am a sucker for good pun names. The gameplay was fun just seeing what wacky things people would trade for. Each shop felt distinctly unique and I had fun jumping around trading stuff randomly. Great Job!

Dreamiverse by antoined73 2019-10-08T20:41:16Z

Wow that was great. It reminded me of Unfinished Swan where you kind of learn about the world as you travel through it. Finding all of the different colors in order to open the doors was a really cool idea. It was satisfying just walking through the level and just spraying paint everywhere. The little fairy characters were super adorable. I also really liked the paintings at the beginning telling you how to play. Overall this game was super relaxing and the visuals were great.

Human Racing by TouchMe 2019-10-11T21:06:39Z

You should definitely add some screenshots of this game to your page because it looks pretty nice. After the first race, the camera stopped following me so I couldn't complete any of the other races. I liked the low poly 3D and the fact that there are a lot of different objects filling the scene. The power ups were cool and the gameplay was generally pretty fun.

Your choice by Tropos 2019-10-08T21:01:02Z

I liked the visuals in this game. Everything felt cohesive and complete and the particles were a nice touch. I was not able to beat the game since it essentially restarts you if you hit a spike. I am assuming that you need to collect 6 of the diamond shape objects in order to win, but I was never able to collect them all without dying. Overall good job!

0 to 100 by TheMoonrise 2019-10-08T20:23:33Z

I really liked the look and feel of the game, it was very cute. The minigame mechanics were interesting despite having to do math haha, but I liked the variety of gameplay. It does go a bit slow at times where I was only getting small numbers and addition so reaching 100 seemed difficult. Aside from the pace in a couple spots, the game play was fun and enjoyable!

Murashkin's Effect by EvilSock 2019-10-10T00:26:40Z

The game doesn't seem to work, which is unfortunate because the graphics were pretty good. Once the game loaded I was able to walk around and shoot but none of the enemies were working. There were some collision issues at the castle where I could walk through the walls. It would have been cool to see everything in action because I thought the environment was interesting. I liked the big rock models and foliage especially, they looked really nice. The design of the robots was also pretty cool. Nice work on the visuals.

Path to UwU by QuantumSno 2019-10-11T20:58:20Z

I was really confused at first as to why I could only move right and I figured it was some sort of bug, but then I unlocked the ability to move left and then it all clicked. I am impressed that you made this despite any experience in unity. At one point I was upside down and floating through the pictures as I listened to the music. I hope this was intended because I liked it haha.

Tales of the River Bank by DrinkFromTheVial 2019-10-10T00:28:49Z

There isn't any download link which is a shame because I really like your game thumbnail and would like to play it.

Moon Claw by Bebsy 2019-10-10T00:02:47Z

Interesting game. I liked the Werewolf model and the houses. The mouse sensitivity was a bit high and the controls were a bit floaty. For what you had it was cool, I just would like to see what a finished version might look like.

LD46 — Keep it alive

Don't Touch the Button by Yngvarr 2020-04-23T05:24:05Z

I admit, the temptation was too much and I immediately pressed the button to see what would happen. I enjoyed the simplicity of the game. Not pressing a button is an easy concept to understand. I liked that the mouse was used to reveal the background and you needed to hover around to see the cockroaches. Also I wasn't able to complete the puzzle at the end (if it is even meant to be solved) but I was glad that I didn't immediately lose. Overall this was a nice entry.

Grove by doodlebrisk 2020-04-20T22:59:22Z

I found this game really relaxing which was nice after the stressful weekend of creating a Jam game. The music and the graphics worked really well together and the game was easy to understand. I liked the fact that the different plants actually had to be taken care of differently, it was a nice detail. Great Job!

The Glimmering Woods by Kyrio 2020-04-25T19:49:11Z

The graphics were very well done and I liked the Animal crossing vibes with all of the non-human characters. It is a shame that you ran out of time because I liked the story and would enjoy seeing what happens next. The gameplay was simple and felt good to walk around and talk to people. My only suggestion would be allowing the player to hit space and it skips to the end of the message instead of going to the next one. I wanted to read faster and the slow text scroll got in the way of that sometimes. Overall this was a nice game with a good narrative and great visuals.

Experiment #0 by FTZ 2020-04-20T22:32:41Z

The graphics were great in this but unfortunately I am bad at puzzles so I failed a lot. The mood and graphics were my favorite parts of the game. The game worked well and it was nice only having to use the mouse.

Spellrager by Tykev 2020-04-21T20:03:12Z

This game has a great foundation. Even with just 1 spell and a small map I had a good time fighting against an AI and winning. The graphics of the environment and spell effects were really nice and I liked the character model a lot. You mentioned that boss fights were on the list for the future and I think that would be really cool. Overall this was a cool game that I would be interested in seeing updated with the changes you want to make.

Hive Preserver by _for_science 2020-04-23T05:37:02Z

Wow I really loved the direction you chose to take the art style in. I kinda reminded me of older games like half life 1 with fairly low res textures and simple environments. I ended up just moving around slower and looking at all of the details. The mechanics were so much fun that I went back and tried to see how quickly I could beat it. The sound effects were great as well. My only complaint is that it seemed like the enemies always knew where you were and would shoot you as soon as you turn a corner. Luckily you make the movement quick and simple so at the end of the day it was easy enough to avoid getting hit as much as possible. Overall i liked this game a lot. Fantastic job!

afterthought by Rionisse 2020-04-21T19:46:24Z

This game had good atmosphere and I really liked the art style. The simple 3D with black outlines looks great. I played the fixed version and didn't run into any issues that immediately jumped out at me. There wasn't a ton of individual thoughts that popped up but I liked the ones that I saw. Overall great game and good job!.

Street Flight by Bloody_xDlol 2020-04-20T23:35:29Z

Interesting game with some nice graphics. The leaderboard wasn't working for me (unless it just takes a really long time to load) which is unfortunate because I found a pro strat in the game.

Mega Kinetic by Add-an-A 2020-04-24T00:15:23Z

This game was a lot of fun and I really liked the graphics a lot. I was wondering how high of a score do you need for the message to be more positive, or if there is even a win state. Overall the game felt well polished and I didn't run into any issues playing it. It was a fun experience.

Rouglike Prototype by emanvidmaker 2020-04-21T21:30:32Z

I liked the graphic style of the game, it is very minimalist and I think it works well. The controls being choppy made me want to tap the move keys instead of hold them down. I would either make movement smoother or let a player move one space at a time just by hitting the key once. The various items in the game made things interesting when you need certain things at certain times. I would like to see more levels but I understand the time constraints make that difficult. Overall nice game.

Last Beer by Nilodree 2020-04-24T00:24:37Z

Not my beer, anything but that! I liked the humor that this game had and the aesthetics were nice as well. The music fit the visual style nicely and the game was fun to play. I shed a single tear for the fallen beer.

Enshrine by MicroChasm 2020-04-22T06:11:32Z

Interesting take on a puzzle game that I can't think of another example of. I dig the art style, especially the low poly statue on the beginning screen. The game was simple but I could see how that one mechanic could be expanded upon to create more variety. Nice work

Party Pooper by kookiedough 2020-04-20T23:25:23Z

No one can poop on MY party. This game was pretty entertaining. I liked how you could change the song just by walking up to the stereo and hitting a number key. It took me a second to realize that I needed to guide people to the rooms they wanted to see. It said at the end of the game that you plan on updating it and I would be interested to see what it looks like completed.

Keep IT Alive! by flynn 2020-04-20T22:13:05Z

Just a heads up that you forgot to link to your game on this page. The premise sounded interesting.

Bump N' Jump by beanslasher 2020-04-23T05:16:44Z

Interesting game, though I was a bit confused at first. Eventually I got a hang of the rules and was having a good time. I really like the unlockable characters. Each one is unique and they make you want to keep retrying to get enough money. I will say that the speed of the platforms took some getting used to. They seemed a bit slow for the speed that the ball was moving so it was hard to keep up. I had good success trying to keep him more towards the edge of the screen. This game definitely grew on me as I played. Good job.

Salad Days 2: Pipe Dream by HarveyU 2020-04-21T21:00:56Z

I really liked picking up items and rotating them to make water fill each tank. It does take a bit to get each one so I didn't go until the end. If something happens at the last tank that would be cool just keep in mind how long it will take a player to get there. I also wish that some of the scenery like the walls had the same graphic fidelity as the larger structures had. The music was subtle but I liked the atmosphere that it created. Overall a nice game and a cool concept.

Red Breeze by MrHasaki 2020-04-20T22:04:55Z

I absolutely adored the art style for this game. The low poly models and the color palette were on point. It took me a few tries to actually find the lover but once I did I liked the other tasks that you need to complete. The environment invited exploration and I mostly just walked around looking at things. Nice job.

The Scary Job by Mikabrytu 2020-04-22T05:50:53Z

Good graphics and a neat concept. I had fun with this game walking around the rooms and fixing things. I liked how the blinking of the flashlight told you where the ghost was but you never actually saw it was too late. Sometimes I wasn't sure where the objective was since there didn't seem to be any indication until you got up close. The size of the map made that less of an issue though, since I was able to walk around and check everything fairly quickly. Everything worked well together. Great job!

Don't Go Grandpa by Ignacio Zamorano 2020-04-21T00:41:44Z

I had a good time playing this game. It fit the theme well and I liked the graphics and the audio. I thought I was doing good until grandpa died from lack of affection without me realizing it. The various effects that each virus had made the game interesting trying to avoid them. I think my favorite thing is the LD 46 statue in the center of the map, it looks really nice.

Straying Alive by tkers 2020-04-21T21:39:07Z

The simple graphics worked really well with this style of game. I wish that you had some background audio or some sound effects to break up the silence. If you did have audio in the game, I didn't hear it. The mechanics were simple and the difficulty increased the more cell that were on the screen. Overall you did a nice job on the game.

Toymageddon by Mr.Swanson 2020-04-21T21:06:30Z

Interesting game with a lot of ship combinations. I liked how the sound effects are all from a person and it adds to the fact that this is basically a kid playing with their spaceship and using their imagination. The controls are hard to get a grasp on and I sometimes die immediately when I spawn in. I had fun flying around in practice mode where I didn't have to worry about enemy ships. Overall you did a good job.

Save The Dinosaur by LungTakumi 2020-04-20T21:34:08Z

This was the first game that I played at 7 am after pulling an all nighter working on my own game with little sleep from the night before. This game definitely woke me up from my groggy daze. It was fun to play and super hectic at times. I would suggest maybe having a penalty for hitting incorrect keys since I was able to just mash on my keyboard and be mostly fine. The little dino characters are great. I had fun playing and that is one of the most important factors in a Jam game.

Baby on board by steambrain 2020-04-20T23:12:01Z

The game had some good humor. The baby noises when you beat level 1 made me laugh, I loved them. The game kinda challenging after level 1. I had fun with the game, good work.

Letter to Thomas by LouieJams 2020-04-22T06:20:09Z

From the awesome pixel art to the writing, this game is really well done. I enjoyed walking and reading the letter written from one friend to another. I also liked your take on the theme, I always appreciate interpretations that are a little less obvious and maybe more metaphorical. The gameplay was simple and easy to understand, which allowed me to pay more attention to the story and environment. Nice Job!

Save the Package by Algebro 2020-04-23T05:53:57Z

You don't play to many games where Hitler is the one you are trying to protect haha. Having different weapons to choose from felt nice as it gave the game some variety. As far as gameplay goes it was a little tough to aim but I got used to it. The shoot animation was also a bit weird in some spots. Overall the game played well and the visuals that you found were a good choice. Nice job.

DarkWave - A 2D Melee Platformer by Sherwin Claridge 2020-04-20T21:43:56Z

The game was nice and simple and I can appreciate that. I really enjoyed the graphics in the game, though it looks like you don't want a rating in graphics you made good choices on what to put in there. The music was nice and worked well with the visuals to create an overall mood. I would definitely add some screenshots to this page. I find that a nice Game page sees an increase in ratings. Good Job on joining this Jam as a beginner and completing a game!

Into The Flow by Sehgel 2020-04-24T00:03:36Z

My favorite part about this game was the screen effects from the various drugs that you needed to take. It made it harder to move around but they were necessary to progress to the next level. I will say that the audio was a bit too loud so I had to turn it way down. The graphics and level design were simple but I feel that they worked well. Overall I had a good time doing drugs in this game haha. Nice job.

Seeking Past by DylanPiserchia 2020-04-22T06:31:36Z

The graphics of this game are what drew me in. I really liked the low poly 3D, especially the trees since they were pretty well done. I ended up just running away from the enemies and kiting them around since killing them without taking hits was kind of difficult. It was nice that I could pick up extra shields though. The music accompanied the visuals well and created a nice mood. I might have liked it if when you collected a memory it gave you a bit of story so that I would know what types of memories they are. Overall this was a nice entry.

The Dark Cave by Tom Stephenson 2020-04-21T01:18:18Z

Wow this game screams mood. Very heavy limbo vibes coming from this and it is awesome. The spider actually spooked me at one point so that was really well done. The sound effects and the fact that any sort of moving creates sound that alerts the spider is really cool. The graphics were well done and I liked the spider animations. Its amazing how much atmosphere can be achieved with just black and gray colors. Nice Job!

Spoon by Cadstor 2020-04-25T19:39:58Z

An interesting game with some fun gameplay. I will say that sometimes the obstacles would spawn right in front of you and don't give you any time to react. Other than that the gameplay was intuitive and easy to understand. Having to only worry about one button was nice.

Zombie Horde by Tatuvasara 2020-04-21T20:48:01Z

Nice little game. I liked the pixel graphics and the music. The difficulty increased in a way that made sense. I beat the game squatting which made it a little more difficult to move around. Good Job!

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Color Coded by Random-storykeeper 2020-10-06T22:55:31Z

I had fun playing but had some trouble with the controls sometimes. The fact that I can't change my color at will is fine, but the enemies move too fast and my bullets can't keep up. This gets especially hard in the second level when certain bullets don't work on certain enemies. Some tighter controls or slower enemies might help this so that I'm not constantly bombarded with enemies that are hard to dodge. The art and audio were pretty good although I will say that the background is a bit sensory overload at times because of all the colors. I would also recommend adding some screenshots to your page so people can see what the game looks like before playing. Overall I had fun playing this game and with a few tweaks it would be even better. Nice Job!

Serious Ham by Saurabh 2020-10-06T22:35:39Z

I had a lot of fun playing this game. I even laughed out loud when I hit beyond godlike and heard the "holy shit" voice line. The game fit the theme and was enjoyable. I will say that the quit button on the start screen didn't work so I had to alt f4 to quit. Another thing that would've helped your visuals is to not tile the textures so much. Make the ground textures a bit bigger so its less noticeable. Overall it was fun to play even with some rough edges.

Phase Decay by Fluffy_Kaeloky 2020-10-06T22:44:17Z

I successfully stopped the reactor from melting down! This game was enjoyable to play and the 3D visuals were pretty good. It was really cool being able to throw the cans near the turrets and have them shoot at it. I like how my progress was saved for each loop when I died and I could just skip to where I left off. Overall I had a good time and enjoyed the art and audio, nice work.

LaserLoop by Neon Glass 2020-10-24T07:31:02Z

Very fun game! We played it on ColeSlawski's stream and had a good time working through it. Mostly having to coach the people drinking all night on how to complete it haha. Nice puzzles and cool ending, great job!

The Magician's Maze by MidoriMelody 2020-10-06T22:24:06Z

The controls are a bit hard to get a hang of and I wish I could rotate independently easier. It was a little frustrating getting sent back to the start of the game any time I brushed past the wrong door. The idea of a maze is solid and it fits the theme well. Once I got a hang of the controls I enjoyed playing it. Good Job!

Stuckgrade by N8Dev 2020-10-06T23:09:41Z

The game started out pretty slow since I wasn't able to get many coins on each attempt. Once I had a few upgrades it really sped up. The floaty controls got frustrating towards the end as I was trying to jump into the ladder type portion. I assume that I had to go over the top since I couldn't progress in other directions. The art and music were very good and I liked the simplicity of the level design. Overall nice work!

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

LANDMINE BOYZ by saucygames 2021-04-28T06:07:18Z

I noticed that there was no download links for this game. Thumbnail looked cool though

Not So Grimm by Rongefilet 2021-04-28T06:35:51Z

Very nicely made and I really liked the watercolor/handpainted look of the environment. Coming across the characters was a pretty neat experience and felt whimsical. The way the trees almost seemed to part for you as you walked was a very nice touch. The escape button doesn't seem to work and that's probably the only negative thing I can say. Overall the mood was right on the money and I had a nice chill time walking through the forest. Nice Job!

What Lies Below by Roka Josh 2021-04-28T06:03:19Z

Very cool how the music gets more ominous as you dive lower and I really liked that you showed visually how damaged the sub was. The lighting/shadow effect was really cool although in some instances it looked like it was just warping everything around it and it would have been nice if the rigid rocky walls would stay rigid. The mood of the game was spot on as I felt more and more uncomfortable as I went deeper so nice job on that.

Chimes by Pohko 2021-04-28T00:58:32Z

I am very impressed that this was a compo submission and the fact that this was accomplished by one person in 48 hours. The graphics and the music mesh well together to create a pleasing experience. I really like the cuteness of the character and the animations are simple but effective. The game is fairly short, but that is to be expected with how much time and effort were put into the visuals. It would have been nice to be able to read the notes again although I appreciate the end screen giving me the full quote. I would've also been nice if the button prompt was only there when I was next to a book because it seemed as though after the first one it stayed on the screen. Overall this game astounded me with its visuals.

Psychedelic by SaltFactory Studio 2021-04-28T06:20:15Z

My eyes kinda hurt after that haha. Might want to have a photosensitivity warning somewhere. The movement was a bit hard to control since you move fairly slow while falling. The sprint button didn't seem to work while going fast and that probably would have made it a bit easier. The game was certainly trippy and psychedelic and I definitely didn't expect that ending which I thought was pretty cool. Overall the game was enjoyable and the trippy-ness is dialed up to 11.

Down Whale by notpjriavs 2021-04-28T05:47:01Z

This game is very well put together. The textures on the walls kind of had a Rick and Morty vibe to them which I thought was cool. The first thing I liked when I started this game was the menu. It was well developed with the settings that were available and it was nice to see the credits with art for each individual person who worked on it. The gameplay itself is solid and enjoyable although part of me wishes the drill was slower and there was more exploration in the tunnels around it because I liked the world that you built. One issue I had was that sometimes sound effects wouldn't play when fighting through waves. I also ran into what I assume was a bug in one of my playthroughs where the "Wave Incoming" alert did not go away after I completed the first wave so I didn't know when to run back to the ship. Overall this was a solid entry, great job.

Prof. Jones' Trench Research Mission by ZhennaPerks 2021-05-15T05:45:04Z

Some nice cute art where everything fits together nicely. I really liked the post-it note instructions, it had some nice humor in it. Even though there is no win state, it works well as a sort of interactive aquarium. Nice job on completing the compo and keep at it.

LD49 — Unstable

Clay Boy by davision 2021-10-06T00:01:00Z

What in the world is happening lol. Controls took some getting used to but made sense once you got the hang of it. I like how the tone of the fart thrust changed base on your shape, really nice touch. Im glad you leaned hard into the weirdness of the game and I can tell you had fun making it. Nice work!

Not OK by Senem 2021-10-06T00:13:25Z

Game was pretty interesting, it reminded me of Warioware with different small minigames and a short timer to complete them. Is there supposed to be something after the boxes and truck part because every time I complete it I get sent back to the start menu. If that is the end then some sort of indication of that would be good. Art wise I like the simplistic environment although some of the assets didn't seem to fit with it. The old man had too much detail and it felt off next to some of the other pieces. Another small issue is the number pad a the beginning was a little cut of at the bottom for me. I don't know if thats just a resolution thing or what. Overall the game was short but I enjoyed it. Nice work!

LD53 — Delivery

Superfetch Dog by benjamin 2023-05-05T02:00:05Z

This was a really cute game. I really liked the pixel work that was done from the animations to the grass particles. The world felt alive. I would've preferred a bit more leeway with getting game overs. I liked the playing fetch part and I think adding distance and platforming over boars and porcupines would have made me like it even more. I wanted to explore the world more and see all of the characters dialogue.

Not a Bot! by Jeremy Ho 2023-05-04T02:25:12Z

He really is a special guy. You weren't kidding about it taking a while to load which is odd since its just a simple clicker game. The filling out of captchas was a nice twist on an existing genre and I enjoyed collecting all of the cursor icons. Once I could disregard the captchas it turned into a normal clicker game and I wouldv'e liked to see you do a bit more with this style of game. I did like the art but unless I missed something there was no audio which was unfortunate. The game was cute, nice work!

FISH FRESH delivery by Oleg Bone 2023-05-05T01:43:02Z

I know you probably fixed some of this stuff in the post jam version but I'll be rating you on the initial Jam version. This was a cute puzzle game that wasn't overly challenging but not too easy either. I liked the art I just wish the penguins would look in the direction they are walking. I'm sure there are many things that your team would've liked to implement but time constraints got in the way. It was a little confusing why I needed to open up a menu to change the color of the road I could build. It might have been easier to just click on a penguin to start building their color. I appreciate the number of levels you put together. Nice Job!

Horror Delivery by GameDevTraum 2023-05-05T01:26:37Z

Short but enjoyable. The music created a nice atmosphere that made me think something was going to pop out. I do think the game could have used at least one more 'scare' other than the window and the beginning and the door closing maybe as you are picking up the newspaper clippings. I liked the news story, but the ending was kind of abrubt just walking up to a ouija board and then credits. I would be interested to see what your team would do to expand the story that you started to create. Nice work!

Catch it by xCarl 2023-05-04T02:09:46Z

This is a cute game and my head was bobbing to the music as I was playing. I managed to get 18 deliveries but that was mostly due to the truck staying in the same area and the houses being close. I thought the art was cute and well executed. You do move faster when you hold diagonal directions down because its adding the speed on top of itself for each input. So unless that was intentional, its just something to keep in mind for the future to look out for. Overall I had fun playing, nice work!

Atrius by Lucas LaMarr 2023-05-04T01:47:30Z

This is an interesting concept for sure. I like the idea of randomized levels and going from cube face to face, but the random nature of it was more frustrating than fun for me at least. I like random level design but there needs to be some rules to it. Unless I'm mistaken each edge that you can walk through is random, even within the same face. It made it more of a guessing game for me than a puzzle I guess. It was cool rotating the cube around, but I wish there was a little more indication of where you would be dropped off. The third level had me make a blind jump to who knows where after jumping across many small platforms. I did like the music, and even though the graphics were minimalistic I think they fit fine with the game as a whole.

Chain Mail by Gev 2023-05-04T01:58:03Z

Pretty short game but what you have is fun. The jumping was very floaty and actually actively made the game harder. With the simplicity of the levels, I feel like you could have made a few more fairly quickly but I understand other things like making the game function take priority. I was a little confused why the pickups changed from packages to some random gem things but maybe there is some lore to the game that I'm missing. The game worked and I didn't encounter any bugs in the short time I played it so nice job. It was definitely a game about delivery, nice job!

Hive by blank_3D 2023-05-04T02:39:40Z

This game is un-BEE-lievably cute. I really like flying around as a bee and listening to the nice music. The atmosphere of the game was very relaxing and I liked it. As far as art, it felt nice and I liked the style of it. The one thing I would say is that the blocky hard edge looking ground didn't really feel like it fit with the rest of the assets, but overall the game looked great.

LD54 — Limited Space

Bubble Trouble by Thomas_Bringer 2023-10-08T19:00:33Z

I found the controls to take a bit to get the hang of. The tight spaces and the pipes sending me back to the beginning a few times made it difficult to get very far. I think the beginning of the game could've been easier and then ramp up the difficulty of the spaces you have to move through later in the level. I do see the potential of a game like this, I just wasn't very good at it. I liked the visuals, they were simple but I think they worked with the vibe of the game. Overall I liked the game, but also would've liked if it was a tad bit more forgiving.

DE-LIMITED by Raivk 2023-10-08T19:12:09Z

I had a lot of fun playing this game, I think that the map space essentially being your health was really smart and on theme. I liked that you could still expand the map back out with the blue powerup too and it was really satisfying to get out of tight situations where I thought I was dead. The visuals were really nice and simple which made visual clarity of the enemies really good. Each power up felt nice and different from the others. Overall great job!

Afraid by Renge 2023-10-08T19:52:28Z

Initially I thought the game was fairly simple and easy to get through the days, but then I got more and more invested in the journal entries and had to see it to the end. The story had a realistic honesty to it that made it feel believable. The mood was spot on as the first time I stepped outside, I felt uncomfortable which played into the social anxiety of the character. Well done!

The Commute by Hotpaw 2023-10-08T19:22:28Z

Cute game, I really liked all of the weird characters and the sounds that they were making. I managed to figure out how to step over the cat and briefcase most of the time but I never saw the end, assuming there is one. If there is an end state that you want players to see, I would suggest making it a bit more forgiving (especially for a jam) and make it to where you don't start over at the beginning with one mistake. Overall I liked the art and atmosphere.
