( NOTE : THIS POST CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE GAME )
Incredibly creepy and effective horror game with wonderful presentation in general to match. Kinda want to see y'all tackle a bigger horror game now lol.
That sprite for the caretaker scared the frik out of me. Same applied when I first saw the game's cover image for the first time. Y'all have done a really good job at setting up a foreboding feeling of tension that never really relented until the absolute end of the game. Extremely good usage of jumpscares as well.
I didn't really expect this to be a semi-point and click, but that definitely aided in the overall creepyness factor. On that note, what y'all did with that gun was vile lmao. Seeing it go missing made my heart skip a beat. Finding it again in the bedroom also elicited a pretty similar feeling. Finding the toiler cleaner was admittedly somewhat funny, but it is admittedly a sad reality of dementia that y'all's game really captured pretty well.
I do have a few complaints though. It was a little hard to actually select some objects sometimes. Especially the phone. It felt like I had to be in a certain position to select it. ( Or maybe I'm mistaken and it wasn't selectable ? This was when the dialogue from the father came up ). I was also a tiny bit disappointed that there weren't more moments like the gun. I do get that constantly forgetting about the little things is definitely an unfortunate reality of dementia, and your game definitely managed to make it creepy as well, my issue is just that it happened a little too often to the same items like the broken bird and the red towels. It almost took away from the tension of the game when it became a little too noticable.
All that said, I think my main issue is that I didn't really need to use the sticky notes all that much. Probably cus as I mentioned before, a lot of the changes that happened weren't really that hard to notice, but maybe that's just me. All in all, this game successfully managed to creep me the frik out. That final cutscene was also a little sad as well since you couldn't see their faces. Props to your sound designer as well. The gutteral sound that was playing after the bedroom scene had me shitting myself
All in all, fantastic work from y'all as usual

the creeps are real. i'd appreciate if it was clear from the start that the player is supposed to zoom in. all in all very immersive and atmospheric, reminds me of old point-and-clicks with crappy rasters. good vibes.

I honestly went everywhere and checked every room, but I couldn't find any gameplay. Maybe some hints are needed at the beginning?

some weird instructions appeared on my fridge, is there an intruder in my home writing them?
--
Ok, seriously now, the only very small criticism I have is that the way the dialogs are displayed - the combination of letter-by-letter and centered text - is kinda distracting, and that it wasn't clear that we had to hold the LMB to focus on stuff (I see the screenshot here seems to have more direct instructions but I can see why it was changed; calling them "anomalies" wouldn't suit this game... but at least some "(hold to focus)" could've helped).

I didn't understand, I didn't find any pills, i'm so confused how interacting works... Also the sensitivity of game is so slow.

For quite a bit of time at the start of the game, I felt like I didn't know what exactly was I doing. I figured to zoom on things, and sometimes they switched places and played a sound cue. Then the milk in the fridge got moved to the bathroom, so I understood that the point is that objects sometimes end up out of place. But I was often still missing the reference to what was supposed to be the correct placement. I did get better over time, but in the end I suppose that I got around 50% of anomalies kinda randomly. Sometimes I got the sound cue, but couldn't spot the visual difference at all.
I also totally did not get that I'm supposed to tag objects with post-its, to make it easier to spot when something changed. So I didn't really use them at all.
Despite the above, I was pretty engaged in the game, and more often than not rather uneasy. The moments of tension were pretty effective, but also kept me curious about what happens next.
In regards to visuals and audio, everything is very well done. The "prerendered" rooms seemed weird at first, but they definitely added to the atmosphere, instead of being simply a production constraint.
The game bugged out a bit near the end, as I mentioned on your discord, but I still enjoyed it.

Snipaste_2026-10-22_23-21-03.png This is way scarier than I expected. I honestly didn't realize this was a horror game, but those sudden sound effects during the quiet moments hit me hard. The whole atmosphere feels unsettling and restless, in the best possible way for this kind of game.
I kept making new notes everywhere to the point where I started feeling like I was actually living with dementia, constantly forgetting what I was doing and trying to piece everything together. Which, come to think of it, is pretty much my everyday life. Maybe I do have dementia. Can I even finish this comment without forgetting what I was talking about? I'm not entirely sure, but one thing I do know is that this is a really good entry. That much I'm certain of.
My assumption is that finding misplaced objects is what unlocks further progress, though I'm not 100% sure about that either. I do wish the game made this a little clearer.
Wait, where was I? Oh, right... I kept making new notes everywhere, to the point where I started feeling like I was actually living with dementia, constantly forgetting what I was doing and trying to piece everything together. Which, come to think of it, might have been mentioned above. Can I finish this comment without forgetting what I was talking about? I'm not entirely sure, but one thing I do know is that this is a really good entry, and you guys did a great job again.
Anyway, I kept making new notes everywhere but still constantly forgetting what I was doing and trying to piece everything together. You guys did a great job again and again. Nice one!

Good game. The graphics are great as well as the audio. I also like the take on the "spot the difference" anomaly trend that's been going on, with how you made something change every time you found something wrong so you end up continuing to go crazy unless you've got notes to remind you. That being said I put notes on almost everything and still couldn't figure out how to finish the game. I assume there's probably some small detail I didn't think to put a note about to remind myself. The bedroom also remained completely black after getting the creepy lady showing up in there, though by the sound effects I assume I could find differences in there by zooming in there as well, might also be something hiding in there I'm missing.

this legit scared the shit out of me. I wasn't able to find the intruder, but the game was smooth sailing up until that point, but man that stupid caretaker scared me O_O

Interesting! I couldn't find the intruder either after going through all the rooms. I was looking forward to making Drain-o cookies. 😢
I guess the interaction style is by design, similar to the old point-and-click adventure/puzzle games, but I struggled just clicking on every bird , box , paperweight or drawer handle to see what I could do. 😄
The post-it notes were fun haha Screenshot 2026-10-24 130139.png
Really cool game! Took me a while to understand I was meant to hold my left mouse button for anomalies instead of just clicking to interact. After I while I got stuck at the "father" phone call. Had to quit, but wouldve loved to have seen how it ended. Maybe someone can record it and upload a playthrough video?

This is a very interesting concept. It took me quite some time to actually figure out what to do, but after finding the caretaker for the first (which really scared me, I was not expecting a person in one of the rooms) I had at least the feeling of progress.
The game has a very uncomfortable atmosphere (which in this context is good), with the constant dread of things changing without noticing.
In the beginning I struggled a bit with the controls, I accidently threw away some early notes quite often. I also had troubles picking up the phone when Father called.
Overall this is a very impressive entry for the jam!

Really cool game! Creepy atmosphere is nice, remembers like Rusty Lake game series. Sounds are great too. Some it takes some time to understand what to do next, may be makes a little bit easier. Nice entry!
Loved the mood and atmosphere of the game! Like others have mentioned, I do believe the notes could be made easier to use, I would have used them more often if so. Regardless, the game keep me hooked. Sadly I got stuck at the "Tidy Up" stage and could not reach the end, but I had a great time playing!
Really liked the concept! The idea of finding anomalies in your own home while trying to remember how everything looked before is pretty cool. I especially liked the sticky note mechanic, it's a nice touch and makes the whole experience feel more interesting. The atmosphere is also really well done. There's something creepy about being in a familiar place but slowly realizing that things aren't quite right. The visuals and sounds fit the mood nicely too. Overall, a really interesting take on anomaly horror. Enjoyed this one!

I am not sure if I got insane or if the game bugged on me, but at one point the phone kept ringing and I couldn´t pick it up. With the creepy sounds playing in the background and one or more weird entities walking around the house, I was happy the game got cut off suddenly with a birthday cake :D I dont know if I played it right, but I remain scarred after playing. If that was you intention - thanks, devs :D

AHHH! I didn't get the zoom in mechanic at first, so I came back to read other comments because I knew I was missing something. Holding down 'interact' zooms in, and if you hold it on things that look out of place long enough, it will trigger the next event. I was thoroughly spooked the whole time. The sounds add a lot to the eerie atmosphere of the game!
As always, the Keyboard team has delivered an excellent game.
This one is quite a departure from your usual humorous style—not a criticism, just an observation! It’s an interesting blend of point-and-click and horror. I’d never played anything like this before—partly because I’m not really a fan of horror games. If the goal was to leave the player feeling confused, then congratulations! Beyond just being confused—and constantly worried about a jump scare—I found myself hyper-focused on keeping track of the things I noticed were changing.
SPOILER
I’m not sure if I actually reached the end. I saw a birthday scene and the credits, but it seems like the game keeps going. Even after fixing everything I could recall, the pale woman in the room is still there. Did I reach the end? If not, let me know so I can keep trying!
Congrats on an excellent game, KC!!!
AAAAAAAAaaaaa.... (Vulture sound)
@euler-moises You did indeed reach the end! We accidentally shipped a bug that returns the player to the gameplay scene instead of booting them back to the main menu after reaching the credits. 🙃
Given the nature of the game, it's understandable that a lot of folks felt like the game was still messing with them, but unfortunately this is one of the few confusing moments that we did NOT intend the player to experience. 😅
Glad you enjoyed it nonetheless!
The music really adds to the atmosphere of the game, the mix of 2D and 3D art blend well side by side, and it was entertaining figuring out how the notes worked and trying to remember how to confirm them instead of crumpling them too often.
Adding an extra incentive for using sticky notes would be nice, but it would be challenging to fit it in from the programming side in a way that makes sense. As it is, the sticky notes are a fun way to create reminders for yourself in a point-and-click 3D traversable environment.
