Great concept and well executed!

Great concept and well executed!
The game is really fun, but it's also hard to collect all of the gems. The camera angle is hard to work with, but other than that it's a great game. Good job!
This game is fun, with no major bugs. Peeps do get stuck by walls where they're easy to ... um ... liberate. Music and sound fit well with the game. It might be better if the Reaps were a bit harder to dodge. Great job!
It's really fun! I never managed to get past wave 3. Love the style of the graphics and the music!
Loved the game! At first I thought it would be easy but level 2 took a while to beat. Some simple music would have been nice, as would some simple animations for the player. The spooky sounds and dim lighting added to the atmosphere of the game. Great job!
The game is really fun, and the upgrades are cool. Good job!
Really funny and fun to play! Love the cards of what you can do!
The game was pretty fun. I had trouble finding the exit for the first level, but I missed some spots, and found it on my second try. Great work!
Thanks for your suggestions. I was away most of Saturday, so I wasn't able to add some of the features I wanted.
Love the graphics and the sound effects, especially the enemy archers. Great game!
Nice game! More levels would have been nice, but the game is fun and art and music are cool :) Nice!
The game was really fun. Loved the art style!
Nice game - Cool soundtrack and sound effects, and the art looks cool too.
Great, fun, and addicting game! I only bought the speed upgrades and could go across the map in a few seconds by level 9. Love the art style, the game could use some music. I'll be showing this to my younger brothers! Great job!
That music surprised me when I started the game. Nice concept, it fits the theme! Good job!
I liked the humor in the game. It was a while before I decided to get a whole lot of beer, and got a dwarf. This could make a fun mobile game. Good job!
Had headphones on... first sound effect really scared me. XD
Really fun! Could use a checkpoints system (almost at the end of the last level, and got impaled). Good sound effects & graphics.
Great game! I can't believe this was made in Javascript. I downloaded the source code :) I love the varieties of biomes / resources. I also like the infinite terrain with perlin noise. Good job!
Some animation for the player would be good. There was one jump that was too high to jump to and sometimes I would get stuck on the side of a rock / platform. The sound of the jump got annoying after a while.
The player movement felt like it lagged behind the key presses. It was easy once I realized that you could spam click to defend yourself.
Great style of game, it was pretty fun! I would love to see this expanded (more variety of enemies, more enemy abilities, etc). Here's how I did: Screen Shot 2019-10-22 at 7.38.51 PM.png
Hard to aim, as you have to turn in the direction you want to shoot. Good game idea, and good graphics.
Great idea for a game! It has great dialogue and was an easy enough game to play. One thing I've noticed is that the collisions are off. Once I got stuck in a roadblock and had to restart. Other than that, it's a great game!
It's hard to see when you are taking damage, because there isn't any feedback. The graphics & music are good. Good job!
It's a fun and addicting game, but sometimes the vandals reach the ATM and end the game so fast it's hard to react. Took several tries before I was able to get positive money :)
Took a few tries to beat my first battle. Whenever I battled, I would have so few people I was sure to die on the second one. Other than that it's a great game, with good graphics and battle mechanics.
Great idea! It was quite hard to beat, as the enemies kept spreading. Sometimes my followers would get stuck because of obstacles, so pathfinding would be great.
Overall good game, but could have used more content. Some audio, even simple sound effects would have significantly improved the game. Good job!
Very good for 6 hours of development. Would love more content in the game. Even some simple audio could have boosted the game. Overall good job!
Some of the text of the game was off the screen. It was quite hard to aim the ship, and the number of simple planets in the way killed me from lack of oxygen.
I liked the concept of the game - the real and imaginary worlds. The game could use more levels, but with such limited time, it's hard to do that. Music / graphics / sound effects were used well.
@itsdanidre Thanks!
I do rotations with:
var x = mouse.x;
var y = mouse.y;
player.rotation = Math.atan2(y - player.y, x - player.x) - Math.PI / 2;
That's to get the player's rotation whenever the mouse is moved.
I do use context.drawImage to render the images on the screen.
@niborious Thanks for the error and suggestions!
I was logging the transitions because they were the last thing I did... Forgot to remove the console.log
@igoreshka That's what I was planning to do next. I only had a few hours left and thought I wouldn't have enough time.
interesting subission nice colors
Fun game! Could have benefitted from even some very simple sound effects. Sometimes I would get killed by a slime even after I had killed it. Good job!
The game doesn't fit my screen. Is there a way to fix this?
Nice
Different from most other games. A cool take on the theme of the jam.
Cool game! It's hard to tell when I'm moving when there's no enemies to see. Loved the sfx, and the graphics style suited the game very well. Good job!
I love the graphics! It was quite hard to block the swords, and it took a while for me to start blocking them most of the time. The sounds are very fitting for the game. Good job!
I got to Level 4 before I died. It's a great game, but it gets repetitive. More types of enemies would be nice, or upgrades to the player. Good job on your game!
I really liked the game! It was quite challenging, and a couple of times I got stuck between a wall and a couple enemies. The graphics are good too. Good job on your game!
You guys made a good game! I managed to last quite a while by just using the basic spray can. It was annoying how the cannon could never hit its target. Some audio would have been nice, even if it was just simple sound effects. Great job on your game!
"Jerry is lactose intolerant" had me laughing. The sound effects were amazing. This is one of the best games I've played yet!
@ryan-harriman I was going to make the robot go towards the bolts but there wasn't enough time.
@gnx @williamcarter @ssh-randy It took me a while to decide what the robot would do before I settled on him giving you health. One of the things I would love to do is make the robot be more important to the game.
I managed to get to level 10. The music got repetitive after a few minutes, but the audio was great if it was your first time making music. The graphics & animations were great as well! Great job!
Good game! The music really fits the game. The game started out easy, then I died when there was like 10 meteors at a time. I really like how you have the ability to create additional buildings. I had a really fun time playing the game! Good job.
It took a few tries for me to get the hang of the game. After a hundred score, it gets easy because of the number of enemies. I like the music, it really fits the game! Great graphics too. Good job!
Cool game! I really like the simplicity of the game. The added palettes are a nice touch, and I like the simple audio. It would be great if there could be some progression in the game, like enemies to avoid, or a weapon to destroy the blocks. Great job!
This is a really great game, with lots of potential! I loved the music and sound effects, and the graphics had a nice and clean look. The world generation was excellent. Killing the enemies was sometimes hard, depending on which bombs I had. Like someone else said above, I feel the bombs should have gravity, instead of staying where they were placed. One bug (or feature) I found was that I still gained score after I had died.
Overall great game!
There's a lot of content, and the graphics, music, and mood are good. However, I did experience some bugs/glitches (a dwarf glitching back and forth, and animations even when there wasn't anything assigned). Like was said above, it would be good if the pace of the game was increased.
Also, if "C" is pressed in the main menu the game breaks.
I like the music! As some others have said, the attacking feels weird (there's a delay between pressing Z and attacking, and sometimes it doesn't attack at all). The levels and graphics are nice. Good job!
@cryptomnesic you have to mine the resources first
@smeljey @ty thanks for your feedback! User input was one of the things I was going to improve next, but I decided the main content was more important.
@bangkerpow I felt that a minimap wouldn't have suited the game, because a lot of the game is exploring for yourself. Thanks for playing it!
@dazrow @martin183 @icarusdev @seeko-studios @pedrorocha Thanks so much for your input! I didn't have much time to polish the game, as I was focused on adding the main content almost until the last minute.
@ccglp @szatku @almax @windfall890 @lilkrit thanks for your feedback!
I really like the art in this game, and the beginning animation was cool. The music was great and fit the game, but the jet pack sound does get repetitive. Good job!
Great game! I really liked all the different types of lasers there were. Sometimes it was difficult to read the weapon descriptions, especially when I was trying to avoid enemies, but it was good for the most part. Good job!
I like that game! It's simple and easy to understand. I liked the clean look of the graphics, and the music really fits the game. I hoped there were more levels, but I know how hard they can be to make :) Good job!
Pretty fun game! It could have benefited from some audio, even some simple sound effects. Most of the words I entered were 4-6 letter words, and I barely got the 8-letter ones. Overall good job!
I love the humor in this game! The ending really got me. It took me a few tries to finally win the game. While I loved the dialogue, it did feel like there wasn't much player involvement, as all the player had to do was run around to the different NPCs. The sound effects and music were good. Good job!
Pretty fun game! I especially like the lighting of the game. It would be nice if there was some progression for the player, like a faster hitting speed or running speed. Good job!
Pretty fun game, I managed to get to the end! The music was nice, but the sound effects were loud and got annoying after a while. It would be nice to see some progression in the game, like upgrades for the player, harder enemies, or levels with obstacles, etc.
I did notice that there were some times I couldn't jump, like on a steep slope, but overall it was simple and bug-free. Good job!
Great game! I loved the sound effects and the music. The controls were pretty intuitive, and the mood and humor were great. Good job!
I really liked the effects in this game - subtle but noticeable. The sound effects and music are both good. There weren't any bugs in the game (that I noticed, at least.) Sometimes, there was too big a space from the button to the trapdoor, which was almost a game-breaker. If you could shoot the buttons instead of having to be near them, that would help fix the problem. After a while, I was able to get a score of 39. This is a solid game!
Congratulations on your first jam, hope you enjoyed it!
I loved the graphics and audio on this! The amount of detail in the game - like the rolling animation and the nebula in the background - take it to the next level. This is definitely some of the best pixel art I've ever seen, and it's crazy it was made in only three days. One thing I would change is the zero-g movement, which was a bit hard to control. Great entry!
I really like the concept of this game, definitely one of the most creative I've seen. It was hard to understand at first, but I eventually figured it out. Good job!
This is a great and polished game! The audio and graphics were great and really fit with the theme of the game. I loved the idea of combining golf and the space aspects of the game. Amazing work!
Really cool game! It took me a couple levels to get the hang of the game, and it's pretty fun. I was surprised that the delete actually costs money (I thought it was like an "undo" button). There is a bit of lag when I placed a building, but it wasn't too bad. Great job!
This is a really cool concept, I could definitely see this turning into a mobile game, well done! It was really satifying to get combos. It would be nice for there to be more varieties of items and/or powerups. Great job!
This is really fun! It took me a couple tries to figure out how to gain more "life" but it seemed obvious once I figured it out. It would be nice if there was a way to restart the game after dying, instead of having to reload the page. This is one of the funniest games I've seen, good job!
I love the graphics and audio of the game! One downside of the game is that it gets very repetitive after the first few minutes - as soon as the enemy gets down to low health, it heals, making it hard to kill it. The mood of the game is great and I love the art style. Great job!
This is a really cool tactics game! I really liked the upgrade system and the graphics. There were a couple small bugs (like all the options disappearing), but for the most part, it worked well. It would be nice if there was a death screen instead of just switching to the menu. Great job on the game!
Cool game! I really like the concept of it. It was really hard to finish the first part of the level (it took me 50+ tries). It would be nice if the controls used the keyboard instead of the mouse, as it was pretty hard to control. Great job on the game!
This is a really cool concept! It was a bit hard to understand the instructions at first, but I eventually figured it out. I really like the clean graphics of the game, and it felt really polished. Good job!
This is a really cool concept for a game. Like you said, the game is mostly just luck, and it would be nice if there were a way to influence the game more. Some simple sound effects could make the game more satisfying to play, and some more powerups that the player could use to make it more strategy-based would be nice. I really like the look and feel of the interface right now, and I hope you continue working on this game in the future!
Good job on this! My one major suggestion is to make the enemies easier at the start and ramp up gradually over time, right now it feels fairly random. The sound effects work well (though the shooting is rather loud), and good job on making the music yourself (I gave up on doing that a while ago!). I hope you continue working on this to add more features!
Very polished game! The graphics and audio work really nicely. One suggestion that I have is potentially adding a cooldown timer for the cannon, and the cooldown time could be lowered by shooting down powerups -- it seemed like I could shoot 10+ bullets a second using both the space bar and mouse. Overall really well done!
This is a very cute game! The music, sound effects, and graphics are all great. Like others have said, it would be nice if there was a score counter and the cat's hitboxes were larger. Great job!
This is a really good concept for a game! It would be nice if there were some different types of enemies which have different abilities, instead of just different health and damage. I found out that if you run out of cards, you can just keep pressing "run" and progress to the next level. Good job on the game!

Really cool game! I liked all the different types of enemies and the powerups that the player could get. The audio and graphics are good (it's really cool how you were able to add 3D graphics). The game is a bit difficult though, and it took me quite a few tries to be able to last a minute. Sometimes it's hard to keep track of all the bullets, especially when there are a lot of enemies, so having a higher contrast between the ground/bullets/player would make it easier. Good job!
I loved how polished this game is! It is super satisfying to get the points. The music and sound effects work really well with the game, and while the graphics aren't super fancy they look really good. Great job!
Screenshot from 2022-04-15 21-32-53.png
This is a really cool game! I love the style of graphics and the audio -- however the sound of the machine gun is quite loud and gets annoying quickly. The variety of weapons was cool, and I especially liked the bazooka. The screen shake is a little much and makes it hard to aim for the enemies properly. Overall this is a really great game, and I hope you continue to work on it!
This is a really cool game. The audio and sound effects really help with the mood (though the one loud sound scared me!) It would have been nice if the story were a bit longer, just to give a bit more depth. This is definitely one of the most creative games I have played so far, good job!
This is a really cool game, and I like how the speed of the game is based on the player's movement. However, it's quite hard to play as it's really hard to avoid the enemies' bullets, and every time you die you have to start from the beginning. I did check out your post-jam version, and it's good that you implemented the ability to continue. The graphics and audio on the game are nice. Good job!
This took me a while to get used to (I didn't read through the description thoroughly and didn't realize you could jump!) but once I got the hang of it the controls felt more natural. I really like the music, and it's really fun to play. Good job!
Screenshot from 2022-04-15 21-53-06.png
Great work on this game! The graphics, animations, and audio fit the game well. I'm not sure if this is just an issue with my computer or browser, but after a while (~12 waves) the frame rate dropped significantly, which made it hard to play. An improvement I would suggest is to have fewer, but harder, enemies, since going around in circles was enough to stay alive for quite a while. Good work!
Cool game, the text on-screen was really funny. The fun yet tense music kept me anxious the whole time. Some of the collisions can be a bit buggy, like I couldn't move past something even though I'm not touching any walls. Your take on the theme was certainly interesting, and definitely made it stand out from lots of other games. Overall, it was a great game. Very creative!
@arakade The key to open the encyclopedia is E!
@silverworks and @dullai, we agree, but unfortunately we couldn't find anyone who could make music!
Good job on the game! It's really cool how you were able to implement the procedurally generated map. Your graphics and audio are also really nice. Like some of the people above, I think the controls for the grappling hook could've been made easier - maybe by making the mouse both aim and shoot, rather than having to use the keyboard for moving and aiming and the mouse to shoot. Sometimes I would get stuck in a hole and have to spend a minute or two getting out because I kept falling back down. At the same time, though, it felt like the grappling hook wasn't as important to the game as the name suggests; I could get through most of the map by just jumping.
I think the map could also have been smaller - I feel like I would often go through several "rooms" without encountering an enemy or any new features. For games with a short development time, like Ludum Dare, I've found in the past it's difficult to make procedurally generated games that have a lot of depth to them, and it's usually better to focus on crafting a smaller, but manually designed map (this also allows you to playtest and ramp up the difficulty curve as the player goes along, with more control than a randomly generated map).
Overall, great job, it's a really cute game you made! I really like the animations you made, especially for the player. I know how difficult it is to make animations (I'm personally terrible at making them!) but you made them feel really smooth.
Such a nice game! The UI is very intuitive, the game takes very little time to understand, and everything feels really polished. It's incredibly satisfying to farm, and the sounds effects go really nicely. I could definitely see this being worked on more and published on Steam.
Really funny game, great take on the theme! Great graphics as well. I was unfortunately not able to get past 96%! One small note, sometimes I tried picking up an object to place it and missed, so maybe expand the icon for each item a bit when it's hovered over? Anyway, great job!
