Like many other I got stuck in one ice level, wanted to see that final :( .
Aside from that, I looove the mood of the game ! The physic logic when you push object really add a skill touch. Maybe the wall jump could be improved, some jump were a bit weird to make.
Really loved the music too, did you guys made it ?
Excellent execution, small simple & lovable, could be my favourite on this jam too. Good job !
Loved the mood and the art ! Animations are a nice touch, even if they're not finished ! I found it quite difficult though, I died twice without really understanding what I could have done differently haha. The puzzle part is also really nice !
For those who having an issue running on firefox, a chrome-based browser works just fine :)
What a lovely experience. Such a simple yet wonderful idea, with clean and emotional execution. I love the postprocess/shader on the scene. All go so well together !
Congrats to the team, and thanks Opa :)
I enjoyed the music! I felt a bit dumb when I finally realized that the rocks were actually puzzle pieces
Great entry!
A surprisingly complete and immersive story, great job!
I find hilarious that everybody in the park are looking at us and are asking for ducks haha. Also loved that one suave sfx that pops once in a while, this "Couac... :smirk:" gave me big [Moto Moto vibes](https://madagascar.fandom.com/wiki/Moto_Moto)
Overall cool concept!
If you keep the game only panning with no walking, I could see this game 100% mouse controlled, felt like the keyboard was diminish the fact that ducks can run away when afraid.
I looove this ! Last raid is indeed a challenge, but I think that the difficulty for backward driving plays a big role here.
Without adding a big red arrow, maybe having a more forgiving police would work ? It's weird to phrase it like that, but: you could probably be able to kidnap people without other freaking out so loud about it. I feel like increase the number of people will make the game harder because capturing the wrong person will be unforgiving.
Very nice idea, very nice execution, very nice polish. Great job!
Clever concept, nice mood !
So so fun. Exactly my type of humour, this speaks to me so hard. I had a really fun time collecting all the achievement, but I'm a bit disappointed that there is no achievement for having all of the achievement :P
Merci Bob.
That gun shot sfx when FBI agents spawns was unexpected ! Great idea, cool little game. Maybe a tiny bit lack of HUD, but props to you for making a pause menu !
If they're dead, they don't need those items right ? Right ?!
Cool concept, synergy system make me think of Noita. Those guard that never leave us made me laugh, constant pressure, loved it.
Also thank you to have for providing the public git, I was able to play directly even on mac; much appreciated.
I _had_ to come here to see another game with pigeons, I'm starting to believe that they really are sort sort of underestimated superstar.
Found the game quite cute, I liked the art very much !
Is there an area at the top of the map that opens at some point ? Kept being intrigued by the 2 guarding cats that I could not get through.
Letters lost in un-flyable area was a bit frustrating, but that's because I'm bad at pigeon
> We got hit by scope creep pretty hard
@pigeonescu Yeah I feel you so much.
Thanks for the details, don't hesitate to tag me if you post more funny pics of your pigeon haha
I'm confused...but in the good way? Anyway great entry!
Turn by turn or deckbuilding games isn't generally my _jam_ (pun intended) but I was curious of the graphics and animations.
Oh boy did I have a great idea to come here: I really enjoyed this !
I'm flabbergasted that you did all of this alone. It's snappy and cute, has a certain amount of strategy, it's really nice. I would have loved having a peak of what the next round would be, or event choose the order to furthermore go in the strategy
Honestly? I want more of it, great job.
Great game, good job ! I found it very polished for a gamejam. As other mentioned, some sounds may be a bit on the loud side. The level transition sfx jump scared me haha
Such an amazing idea with a cool execution! The camera pov switch is a very nice addition to this comtemplative-style game.
Is there a way to find color with no sound? I had an hard time finding them.
Overall nice cozy entry, good job to the team!
I don't know if those things are usually asked here, but could you upload a web version for non-windows users ? I would love to try this game out, seems fun !
I liked the pixelart, it's like were in the Noita character's basement. I'm not sure I understood all the potion effects.
The fact that range mobs can attack through wall and we don't is a funny injustice!
@happysealgames @lue Thanks for helping Billy, glad you liked it!
Congrats on the 100%, that must have been a cool garbage pile haha
Thank you all for your feedback! Seeing all your 100% makes me regret we did not go for the star-form pattern, judged "too difficult" in concept phase :o
We're aware of the click-everywhere behaviour in the first phase, having a limited number of item or more complex nest shape would have reduce that, but we went for simplicity since we ran out of time.
@pigeonescu HAHAHA you would not believe for how long I laughed before being able to write this reply
@myheadmess The only 2 things that can be hurt in this game are Billy's feelings and Jerry's ego, so I'd call that a bug
Thanks for helping Billy, people !
@soleil Ahaha I love those challenges, thanks ! We even got a tester that went full on cristal balls, and it worked out surprisingly well
@snowpriestess Thank you for you kind words
@ira-baciu It seems that the combination of win11 + Firefox is not a winning one, sorry :( It should work on any browser chromium related, but I recommend using the link to itch.io; that way you won't get the weird cropped version.
@darthwaxus Yeah we'll definitely add that, thanks for the idea! A TV lift by a pigeon would be hilarious
@jasminej2003 Noted, thanks for your feedback!
@steven-garberg Ohhhh thanks!
@gullyngames Thanks for the feedback, you're totally right, the first part was a bit rush. We think that in a real release (like a mobile game) this part would be replace altogether.
@eugenik @peggy404 Thanks, we're glad you liked it so much!
@britt-and-woofs We hope that gave you 2005's MTV vibe haha
Love the first level, I liked the design choices for the movement, climbing on pieces of cloth and all. The cucumber/pickle/kryptonite was a very clever thing to add haha
However, I did not understand the second level, is it bug on my laptop or I'm just very slow to understand thing ? I tried `F` everywhere, before breaking the jar, after breaking it, on the item that fell from the jar, after consuming the said item, etc. -> nothing work. Since I don't know what it's supposed to happen, I'm curious of what I'm missing here. Is it related to the chest in the level 1 ?
Once explained (or given an hint at least, pretty please), I'd gladly come back to finish it :)
@iriska Thanks for the reply. I did come back playing it, and now I know what I missed the first time: I didn't understand that item was a key. From a distance it looked like fish bones; my bad!
I share the point of @sheepolution about the little awkward position of the _action_ button.
Cool game nevertheless, good job to the whole team :)
All cool, but I liked the last mini game the most ! Blob thingy and slowmotion are really cool
Also the intro scene hits hard hehe. Good job to the team !
(In case you do not know, the itch.io entry seems broken, a the gameview is cropped on both side.)
I don't know how I did it, but if you start a run while having you path not touching the door, the screen change but the vacuum-run does not start.
I like the idea, and I find the excecution really funny. Not so easy yo make an actual positive score, there are soooooo many mob haha
What a good idea ! Simple, good execution. Add some audio and I could see this go commercial.
Congrats on your first game, you can be proud !
