Yey !
Cool idea, great implementation, had fun!
It became very hard to doge towards the end but maybe I'm just bad. I love the quack in the music and the art. I enjoyed this one.
@bigtasty @ludumdaredevil thank you for your feedback ! Yeah, a bit difficult to avoid hunter starting round 4, agree !
Great work on the sound effects! The overall look is also very consistent ; I wonder how many of us have actually played the original game :smile:
That last round was brutal but I managed to take his gun :D fun game!
Great submission! I love the pixel art and the role reversal on a classic. This game had a great amount of polish and was really well scoped.
The game feels very polished, with smooth and satisfying controls. The visuals remind me of playing Duck Hunt as a kid—only this time, I'm the duck. The last collectible is ridiculously hard to get!
@ace17 @frib @ckane144 thank you so much for playing and for your nice comments ! :pray:
A good game, very nice visuals, the guy reminded me of the Russian plasticine cartoon "Last Year's Snow Fell", nostalgia!
It was all looking good, until he installed an aimbot and got me ^^. The visuals are looking great and i really liked the music in the start menu.
I completely missed that you are playing the duck and was so confused for a second. What a fun twist. I also very much like the pixelart graphics. You have a super cohesive design language in your game, I love it!
Good game, starts really easy and gets really hardy by level 4. Pixel graphics are great and the music and the quacking are much fun.
great looking game, the duck diving felt a little floaty, like I couldnt really tell if my button presses were triggering until a second or two, with tighter controls this could be awesome!
I loved the music. Quack quack quack quack quack. As others said - very well polished, you did a great job!
So polished! Very cool vibes on this one. The hitbox for dashing felt a bit clunky - the visuals made me feel like a fiery effigy of duckly retribution, but whether I actually dealt damage felt a bit random. An interesting take on the theme too.
Hilarious concept, and very nice execution, bravo!
As others already mentioned: great scope and a polished & complete feeling game! Love that you're getting hair and a tooth before the cigarette :D
I was expecting to hear Woody Woodpecker laugh. Hehehehe! hehehehe! hehehehe! he-he-he-he-he! why? i don't know :duck:
@kseniya I do not know this reference :laughing: btw thanks for your time playing and nice comment !
@alstegodev that's something we noticed, pretty easy to go to level 4 then the hell's coming :fire: thank you so much for your comment :smile:
@b0guslaw Hooo ! That's the idea ! But would not have thought it could be confusing :rofl: Thank you, we spend many time doing handcrafted art :pick:
@flying-dog-fish Yeah ! I did not make it behond level 4... but did not sleep much since yesterday ! :smirk: Thank you, quacking was a last minute idea when composing the music... :duck:
@rubentipparach you're right, the physics is a bit weird here :sweat_smile: well noted ! Thanks for playing and commenting :pray:
@emilija-marija thanks a lot !!! We were hoping to make something fun and as polished as we could :sweat_smile:
Cool idea! A bit loud though.
Very polished graphics, well done! The idea of collecting his belongings felt a little slapped in purely to match the theme though. Other than that, this is definitely one of the best looking entries I've seen!
This is so funny haha. I never thought about the other pespective of that arcade game :D
@sassages at first, we wanted to make reverse hunting : so as hunters are collecting hunting trophees of the animals they killed, we wanted our little duck to collect 6 hunters heads... we changed our mind as it could not be done (6 different hunters wiht a good level of detail needs time, more than what we had) and also it was a bit bloody, and I wanteds to stay funny not gore. Thanks for playing and commenting ! Much appreciated :pray:
@tranceplant thanks ! You mean music/sound too loud ?
@skylone :rofl: why not !
@freeworld Haha ! Thanks, yeah the order was not random :spy: thanks !
@ditam thank you so much !
Very cool. Controls feel a bit "floaty", it takes a lot of time to respond because of the velocity mechanic, but maybe that's what makes the game challenging. I couldn't make it past level 5 :)
Looks and plays great! It gets super hard on level 5!!
@wolderado :smile: thanks !
@hifire yes, the "floaty" is somehow intended, @notsu made a special recipe between "floaty" duck movements and more or less drunkalicious hunter aiming :tada: thank you for playing !
Damn, this was really hard! I had a lot of fun playing it, but the later stages were almost unbeatable for me. The game is super polished and very well done, good job. One thing I would have loved are volume controls though
Super fun and addictive, it gets really hard quite quickly. Amazing job!
@el-pepi @philocode @juanrod707 thanks dudes ! Yeah, it's very hard by the 4th round ! :gun:
@philocode yes this option would be good ! :loud_sound:
Funny tribute to Duck Hunt, ha, ha! The graphics are truly spectacular, and the humor is undeniably good. If I had to mention something, I’d suggest lowering the sound effects a bit so the music can be heard more clearly. But aside from that small detail, my sincere congratulations, it’s a great game!
the sound and the graphics are great! it's also very funny =) It's getting very hard in the end and when replaying, the first levels seem very easy and then it was impossible for me to pass i think the fourth or fifth level. But overall a very nice entry!
Great game, good job ! I found it very polished for a gamejam. As other mentioned, some sounds may be a bit on the loud side. The level transition sfx jump scared me haha

I really enjoyed the graphics and loved the pastiche of the duck hunt scenery! I agree with the other commentators that things kick up a little bit too hard on round 5/6 - Round 4 felt manageable, but on rounds 5 and 6 it felt like there were sometimes unavoidable hits that you had to take. Multiple times, the round would start and I was immediately shot without any time to react - It would have felt a lot more fair if there was some logic in place to prevent you from being shot within a frame or two of the round starting (perhaps always spawning the duck and the reticle in fixed locations, to give some minimum time before you can be shot?)
Overall though, this was really good! Well done!
I like it! Playing this game DRUNK adds a whole new level of fun ^^
I recorded myself playing your game and gave my feedback. Timestamps are in the description. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JL6b3sPi2c
A very nice little game! Graphics are gorgeous! Sound design is top notch too! Couldn't finish though, it was too hard for me, but I made him play for the first few levels, believe me! 🦆🦆🦆
Wow! Really cool and polished game! A bit hard for me to attack but managed to collect 4 pieces of that hunter. Brought back nice memories of DuckHunt game from childhood. Great job - graphics, sounds, music with quacks - everything is top notch!
@zungryware Dude !! Thank you so much for your youtube review and for all your comments ! :pray:
Much appreciated ! :wink:
To answer some of your questions : - Yes music was made by me ! :duck: - For lacks of animation on reload, we did not take the time to implement it (it is done...), there should be a "rest" time and then a reload time more or less long (so 2 animations - rest and reload - are done but not currently in game, one of them can be seen on the title screen though) - Difficulty is a bit weird and many of you noticed it, somehow easy till level 4 and then really hard (the curve could have been better, to prevent first levels to be such a formality)
Thank you also for your play time & comments @anaticula @kupnu4 @naru (This was not designed to be played DRUNK ! :rofl:) @koolruz @damyyr @mamboman @milq
hey that was a fun twist from a classic game i grew up with ! nicely done!
Nice little game :) Finally managed to finish it after a couple of attempts, the difficulty really ramps up towards the end but I think that's fine for a game like this. Beautiful pixel art too! But I felt like it could have used some music while playing too
Quack quack quack quack quack The track of hunter was interesting. After passed the game, I tried to stay still and let him caught me, but he took quite a few minutes Haha.
@truedat @knosvoxel thank you ! I did not find a good way to compose a good ingame music during the weekend, maybe i could have just put the intro music at a lower volume.
@gwhyang :rofl: I think you try that on first round no ? Hunter is really drunk at this round :sweat_smile:
I love the twist you gave the old classic "duckhunt" giving the player the duck's perspective. The attack mode feels natural and not too OP
Title screen music was super awesome :D Love the gameplay loop, but I didn't manage get past round 6. Super hard. Great job.

Super hard! But in a good way :smile:. I really liked the simplicity and how it easy it was to try again. The music and sound effects are great! The art is also great but also very legible which is important for a timing game like this. Great entry!
@wouter52 @split82 @jacobingalls thank you for your lovely feedbacks dudes ! :grin: :open_hands:
Nice reverse hunting. Good work.
This is actually hilarious, at first I was confused how it connected to the them but after stealing some hair it all made sense. It was really funny to attack and once the hunter got a bit faster there was a bit of challenge. Nice work!
Sub-100 for the fun category, that is very respectable. Congratz!
@kalbshack @sarah @wouter52 thank you :pray:
