LD46 — Keep it alive

Astrodrift by Flaterectomy 2020-04-25T17:31:31Z

Great game, the slingshot mechanic is great fun.

However the "nav beacons" / wayp-oints might need some sort of arrow or similar to make them more recognizable, it took me a few attempts to understand that.

Like&Subscribe by Time Loop 2020-04-21T18:40:59Z

A very nice concept and the basic feel is pretty spooky already. One quality of life suggestion would be to somehow mark the comment-able stuff, i.e. give them an outline/glow when the cursor hovers over them.

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

In a roundabout way by tiffi 2020-10-06T16:40:33Z

Very nice way to incorporate the theme - full marks for it. The atmosphere is also very moody / spooky, I like it.

Re-Race by Stefan0198 2020-10-05T23:13:40Z

Very nice art style and theme. The drive controls are a bit yank though - or I didn't manage to get the hang of them :D

Space Cat by Wubbl 2020-10-06T00:38:51Z

Red buttons without labels are always a good idea ;)

Nice concept, the movement is a bit slow though. Very cute graphics.

while(sushi); by LucaVazz 2020-10-05T23:38:35Z

@fupi Thank you for your feedback! LΓΆΓΆp cat only tells you what to cook for the tutorial flow, otherwise its about watching your catstumers and what sushi they take - the speech bubbles only give you a rough hint. The money only gets updated when the catstumers leave, so its intentionally delayed from you making the sushi.

Orbitoor by omnes ludos 2020-10-08T21:21:27Z

Very nice concept and fun to fiddle with the orbit. A simple score / stopwatch would be a nice touch to compare the piloting skills among friends.

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Acheron's Gambit by zarthas 2021-05-01T14:53:07Z

A nice concept with cool graphics and good sound design. Also really liked the minimalist visualization of the map. Some custom art for it to tie in better with the overall style would be neat.

The Squeaky Affair by bmacintosh 2021-05-01T14:54:53Z

Very cool concept and good progression between the levels. The sound effects / dialogue is a really nice touch as well :D Loved the twist with the tic in the light bulb.

My only real complaint would be that the grey pins are a bit hard to see.

The Legend of Water by darkfrost 2021-05-01T15:09:22Z

A nice game overall - I was almost sad to kill the enemies since they look kinda cute :D

Very nice graphics, sometimes it got hard to actually fend of all the monsters at once when I tried to outrun them - but maybe my strategy was a bit off :D

Challenger SUB by digitaldude555 2021-05-01T13:19:06Z

Nice take on the concept, even though controls were a bit confusing at the start :D Cool path-finding for the missiles though. The control hint on the start screen needs a bit more contrast for me... Maybe making the sub move slower would make it a bit more immersive.

Ari's Potion Shop by jeroenpx 2021-04-27T13:55:29Z

Very nice visuals and a nice game loop :)

It would be a nice touch if you could try to aim the potions jumping out to hit the speech bubbles :D

Cave Girl - SUPER AQUA GOTH by nardandas 2021-05-01T14:48:46Z

Very nice graphics and music. It's a pretty neat concept.

Either the world generation messed up sometimes or I managed to overlook the hole to the next layer at some attempts. Also no water for me sadly... But all in all a solid base.

JΓΆRD by PierreNS 2021-04-27T16:03:33Z

A nice spin on the drilling concept. And the art style is really neat

Maybe having a notification of what's actually wrong would be nice instead of just the red lights. Some robotic "fire in the engine" voice over or something :D

Deep Mine by NateTheGreat 2021-05-01T14:26:09Z

Surprisingly I wasn't mad when the miner exploded on falling down the shaft too fast :D

Overall very nice, the graphics look pretty neat as long as they are coherent. Maybe some separation between the "+ x resource" and "tank low" messages would be helpful - i.e. show the warning to the side or something.

grGRIDid by John Gabriel 2021-04-27T02:15:43Z

Very impressive submission!

Saw the progress post on Saturday and was looking forward to actually experience it myself :D

The puzzling difficulty is very good in my opinion for a concept game.

Rabbits Running by Taximan981 2021-05-01T13:24:48Z

Nice take to help the rabbit escape. Very nice introduction, I felt connected with the meme rabbit deeply :D

The controls are a bit hard to get right though - seems like the rabbit is a bit drifting in a sense. Also it happend a few times that I ended up in a dead end, which was a bit annoying since I basically had to kill the rabbit by digging than.

Grabble Story by Mahjoub 2021-05-01T14:12:52Z

Very cool take on the theme, cute graphics and catchy sound.

Unfortunately I couldn't quite grasp what the yellow line that appears is about. Apparently it doesn't move further down after grabbing a blue star... Is that intentional?

Grabble Story by Mahjoub 2021-05-02T09:39:46Z

Thanks for the reply @mahjoub. Indeed I completely overlooked the shop πŸ˜… Maybe a more "in your face" hint about it would help.

What do cats dream of ? by Duck Reaction 2021-05-01T12:53:14Z

Very cute idea which gets stressful faster than expected :D

Such nice cat models and noises though

Penguin Paradise by LucaVazz 2021-04-27T13:51:57Z

@natethegreat To ease your mind a bit: At least you're not actually killing the penguins when changing the specialization of a tent/house - you're "just" evicting the ones which don't fit the new setting :)

Penguin Paradise by LucaVazz 2021-04-28T10:07:44Z

@bmacintosh The late game is definitely unbalanced as it stands - in our attempts after the deadline it took about 30min to build the monument when extracting the maximum amount of ores from the well. Nice to see that it could captivate you so well until than still :)

We're planning to continue working on it for a more polished (separate) release though, which will definitely address this issue.

Penguin Paradise by LucaVazz 2021-04-28T18:43:44Z

After getting some actual rest, we just pushed an update that fixes the problem with the mouse cursor sometimes activating the wrong building when zooming out. Hopefully this makes your village management easier to handle :)

Penguin Paradise by LucaVazz 2021-05-02T09:34:25Z

Thank you all for the great feedback! :) Indeed much of the QoL features are planned for a post jam version, including adding more for the late game.

@duck-reaction Did you possibly notice a pattern when the building placing would not work? In any case, you can abort the placing with your right mouse button.

Halt by Teto 2021-05-03T19:53:50Z

Very cute graphics - still appreciated the cat even though they could not get blood soaked :D

The animation are very smooth and a nice touch to have the adventures indicate that they are about to attack - a dodge roll or similar to counter it would be a nice touch.

Overall a solid result! ( And bonus points for a fellow Godot-dev ;) )

MilCo. by MikoziQ 2021-05-01T13:12:42Z

Mooooo!

Its a nice base idea, really liked the house connecting mechanic and the beautiful moo sounds. Also a nice idea to integrate the stats UI with the world. The (un)happiness of the cows didn't seem to have an effect - or I managed to speed run it unintentionally :D Maybe some emotes for the cows would be a nice touch.

Lidenbrock by Notinatal 2021-04-27T15:46:47Z

A very nice take on the theme and very well executed :)

Maybe for future jams considering a web export would be nice, as that makes it nicer to play tha game than having to download it, which Godot nicely supports.

Pedro by pauldpong 2021-05-01T13:49:35Z

Very cute game - took me some attempts to realize the lava was killing me :D

A way to retry without rage quitting the game would be nice.

The Search for Catlantis by TheEarthAbides 2021-05-01T14:04:21Z

Incredibly cute deep-sea cat.

The life counter in the bottom left seems to be broken unfortunately, it always showed 2 (instead of 7 :P)

Hellpong by Hasuverse 2021-05-01T14:36:23Z

A nice idea with cool art - sadly I have to repeat the previous comments about being too bad at it :P

Are there multiple levels if you'd manage to beat the shielded devil?

Maybe having the bullet de-spawn after 3-4 bounces like in Wii tanks would be helpful to not have to chase it that violently...

LD49 — Unstable

Bennet Froggy by Weirdybeardyman 2021-10-04T23:09:57Z

Very nice frog boi, fun to play with the physic mechanics 🐸 Especially loved the encouraging voice over :D

Mint by PrΓ©da 2021-10-06T20:52:40Z

The graphics are beautiful, especially outer space.

Took some time to get used to the alternative movement but once I had a feeling for it, actually felt really nice. Very cool spin on the theme and nice space vibes.

Looking forward to see you try our entry as well :) https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/49/toad-towers

Toad Towers by LucaVazz 2021-10-05T07:14:44Z

@chikentear Sorry to hear that :/ Could you try again with a recent version of Chrome or Firefox please...? Are you getting an error displayed or does the loading bar just stop?

Toad Towers by LucaVazz 2021-10-05T07:14:44Z

Also note that contract work is chaos, so sometimes you need to get lucky to get all the modules you need ;) (What cards spawn per stack is fully random)

Toad Towers by LucaVazz 2021-10-05T20:49:03Z

@weirdybeardyman Thanks for the great feedback :) In some levels you're a bit at the mercy of the random number generator, yes - but you can always restart your attempt via the pause menu (esc-key).

For the loading animation: In Godot's Export settings you can configure a "custom HTML shell" where you can customize the Web page "around" the game. See also [our shell file source](https://gitlab.com/green-game-17/toad-towers-ld49-freeze/-/blob/main/src/game.html) and the [Godot docs about the shell](https://docs.godotengine.org/en/stable/tutorials/platform/customizing_html5_shell.html#doc-customizing-html5-shell) for more details.

Thanks for the music suggestions, we'll definitely look into it more to get rid of the lagginess.

Toad Towers by LucaVazz 2021-10-05T20:50:45Z

@surfa The delete function unfortunately doesn't show you what module you're going to delete (we finished it literally a minute before the deadline :D) but it should remove the modules regardless.

Try to build an unbalanced tower or one with holes, the earthquakes will make it unstable ;)

Toad Towers by LucaVazz 2021-10-06T22:33:59Z

Thank you all so much for your great feedback so far 🐸

@greenxenith Sometimes your frog client slips you a card which they want you to use directly - marked by the message above the preview, although a more noticeable effect for it might make sense.

Unshippable by MikoziQ 2021-10-06T19:32:56Z

Nice concept and the controls feel pretty smooth.

Unfortunately I managed way too often to "mash" containers together and than couldn't only drop one and pick no new ones up πŸ˜…

unshipable.png

Also I can relate way too much with the pain of trying to export Unity to the web :D

Vulcanization by arturogcdev 2021-10-06T20:25:47Z

Very cute concept, especially loved the start animation and the water movement - might have failed my first run by looking at it :D The music is a banger as well

Maybe a way to drop the house while having it "on" the cursor would be nice. But pretty cool concept overall.

Prefabricated Highrise by belickim 2021-10-04T22:59:24Z

Nice twist on tower building - rockets are always a plus πŸš€

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

FlowerPower by C64Gamer 2022-04-06T20:24:47Z

Peaceful and cute :sunflower:

Ludum Distractio by PhilStrahl 2022-04-06T20:41:51Z

The rage I felt against the printer after multiple play throughs was completely accurate :D

Very cute graphics as well, great fun overall

Dungeon Architect by kazuo256 2022-04-05T13:06:04Z

Love the party room :D

Neat concept, my only gripe is that pre-placed rooms should maybe be somehow marked so you don't try to remove them and wonder why nothing happens πŸ˜…

Ydunian Prune by MateusBoga 2022-04-06T19:52:50Z

Very nice clicker with stunning graphics.

Maybe the continue button from dialog should be in a different place then where you spam click to collect from the tree πŸ˜…

Cat in the Bag by JoshH 2022-04-06T20:08:11Z

Very cute concept and good writing

The Maze of Swineston by LucaVazz 2022-04-05T19:22:24Z

@cikyt Thanks for your feedback :)

> the pigs sometimes do not run on

If an adventurer pig sees a trap being placed, they will remember that a trap is hidden in that tile and avoid it - which can soft lock the adventurer, as they are too afraid to walk further.

Flat Idea by carlinhu 2022-04-05T12:23:45Z

Nice concept and very cool menu design  Also love the towers falling over :D

The space ship is maybe a bit slow to fly across the map.

Penguin Rituals by mmisspelling 2022-04-05T12:42:45Z

Cool concept, I guess guarding the island against destruction is not an easy task, which explains why I struggled so much with diving back up :D

The Bay of the Ineffable by HendrikLober 2022-04-05T13:10:04Z

Very fun concept once you get the hang of it

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

Last 5 Minutes by Wizcas 2022-10-04T20:53:35Z

Very nice graphics and can relate to the concept way too much - 10/10 :D

on track to party by LucaVazz 2022-10-04T18:35:00Z

Hey @ruruie, thank you for your feedback, glad you enyojed the overall concept :)

We've just added a tutorial to our game page, please have a look if you'd like and let us know if it clears things up. (We're also intending to add an in-game tutorial to the extended version soon.)

on track to party by LucaVazz 2022-10-07T06:56:35Z

Thank you all for your great feedback so far πŸ¦’πŸ’š

We plan to add more in-game information (a tutorial and a travel log) as well as adapt the selling of items at the same station in our extended version soon - stay tuned for an update ;)

CatBlocker Plus by Sheol 2022-10-11T17:44:53Z

Very cute cats, needs some cat memes in between :D

I HATE circles by sulfur cretin 2022-10-11T17:51:49Z

Really enjoyed the stylized look and felt like a solid core mechanic. Was kinda stumped that I had to click on play in the character selection instead of just [space] or smth :D

10 Seconds Solar by OP Sidearm 2022-10-04T21:24:16Z

Very cute graphics and love the flare effect - the movement was a bit too fast for my taste, but overall its very impressive for a first game :sun_with_face:

LD53 — Delivery

Fridge Floppers by Split82 2023-05-02T17:18:48Z

Great entry, the minimal design and snappy physics really work well together

Rollin Express by yellow attic 2023-05-03T19:56:47Z

I definitively was not expecting this gameplay :D

Very cute art style and nice little game overall.

Airlivery by Jin9310 2023-05-02T17:34:49Z

Very cool "retro feel" overall.

The plane controls nicely, but somehow I actually enjoyed it most to see it crash :D

Sometimes its a bit hard to know which houses are in the foreground and which are in the back - maybe the background ones need to be a bit more faded / muted in colour?

You're doing crate by LucaVazz 2023-05-02T12:44:08Z

Thanks for your feedback :) We definitively can't deny that overcooked was a big inspiration for the basic concept of our game :D

@snory : Once a seagull picks up a packed order they need to deliver it, either to the train or the truck, they can indeed not drop it onto the floor. That is by design to avoid players forgetting about the last step. We used Godot 3.5.2 and GDScript, as the web export for Godot 4.0 for 3D games is not fully completed yet. Hopefully for LD 54 it will be ready ^^

@angiemon : We've just delivered a fully loaded train of bugfixes (22 up to now to be exact, you can see the listing in our [GitLab repository](https://gitlab.com/greenopal-studio/youre-doing-crate-ld-53-freeze/-/compare/993a9b651db8611ff5a93c65f749ceb2e0d518e4...main?from_project_id=45638190&straight=false)). This also includes a fix for packaging an already packed order - thank you for the note :) The power-ups bind to the seagull until you use them and only afterwards you can pick up a new one :D You need to activate them by pressing [R] / [P] / [Ctrl] / (Y) / (β–³).

Unfortunately we did not have enough time to setup a custom environment and post processing effects - we played with adding a cellshading / toon shader. Also maybe adding a sort of call-out to make identifying items and handling units / packaging material easier. We'll let you know if we beautify it more in a post jam version ;)

Desert Bike by wokeraccoon 2023-05-02T16:53:33Z

From the initial screen the art looks lovely :)

However when playing the web embed on ith.io the bike seems to not move forward... The tire pivots when pressing [Left Arrow] / [Right Arrow] but no movement I'd love to give it another try if you could look into the web export version.

Desert Bike by wokeraccoon 2023-05-02T17:28:34Z

Oh I see, thanks for the hint, now I figured it out ^^ Maybe rather write it like "Constantly tap the [Up] arrow..." or similar :)

Apart from that bump in the road it's a neat game, the controls feel very appropriate to riding a bike indeed.

Delivering Death by WeeFairyFabi 2023-05-02T17:05:52Z

I really liked the art style and the music. Together with the torch light mechanic it sets a great, spooky mood

A nice entry overall :)

LD54 — Limited Space

StarDust by Geckoo1337 2023-10-03T17:03:08Z

Great execution - even though it is "just particles", the art style is very cool, I really enjoyed exploring the sapce.

Truck Chef by HeadZerg 2023-10-04T19:30:37Z

Lovely art and the physics / swinging of cups is really fun - and oh so satisfying to push everything into the trash can at once :D

A small bug I found: If there are multiple identical orders and you prepare the drink once, all of the identical orders are marked as completed.

Packing and Unpacking by nusan 2023-10-04T22:17:17Z

Very cute take on the theme, really enjoyed the graphics and retro feel to it, keyboard controls are a nice touch.

Donut Park Here! by Rongo Matane 2023-10-03T14:17:22Z

Guess there was a reason I never got my fox driver license :D Rage quit after getting 400$, guess Wizard school has to wait until I find a different job...

Awesome work, the graphics are fantastic. Tricky controls, but I guess that is intentional, definitively can feel getting better at it.

Tables 95 by Steven Garberg 2023-10-04T19:50:31Z

A short way to summarize my experience playing it: AAAAhhhhhhhh Its just missing a never ending loading bar in the center of the screen :D

Pretty creative take, loved the aesthetics as well.

Redneck Renovation by Kylazaur 2023-10-03T16:35:16Z

Nice arcade game, very cool art ^^

Not sure how well it fits the jam theme - I guess you're expanding a _limited space_ :D

Space Cargo, Ltd. by ditam 2023-10-04T22:24:35Z

A nice take on the theme, I enjoyed it. The music is very atmospheric.

Some additional SFX of the ship flying / slowing down to get in orbit might be nice.

Also an option to "re-shuffle" your cargo after flying to a different planet might be helpful, otherwise I sometimes had to cycle across all the planets to get more space πŸ˜…

Rabbit Reporter by LucaVazz 2023-10-04T22:11:44Z

Thank you all for your comments, great to see that you're enjoying our game so much :rabbit2:

@pichiiparu In fact _all_ assets were hand painted in acrylic paint and then scanned for the game - you can see some more details in a [Behind the scenes](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/54/rabbit-reporter/rabbit-reporter-behind-the-scenes) we posted the other day :)

FROUST! by Kupnu4 2023-10-03T13:42:42Z

Short and sweet game, very fun. The graphics are very clean and cute β›„ Definitively executed well on the theme :D

Limited Space by sebi 2023-10-04T19:40:28Z

A fun spin on the theme, could be fun in a jackbox type local multiplayer setting ^^

(A side note: While I appreciate that you mention the use of midjourney for generating graphics in the credits, from my perspective it would be better to be more open about it on the ldjam page or perhaps even opt out of the graphics category, depending on if you modified the graphics yourself or if they are directly taken from midjourney.)

Carrotiles by ValentinWB 2023-10-03T16:38:49Z

Creative spin on the jam theme and cute graphics.

Sometimes the "carrot detection" (to prevent the tile on which the carrot is currently sitting from moving) did not work and the carrot would fly across the screen after closing the map πŸ˜…

CosmoTrasher by Prologi 2023-10-03T16:48:52Z

Nice twist on the theme, very groovy music and love the art style.

Sometimes I "clipped" into an asteroid and had to wildly grapple around to get unstuck, but only happend like two times in practice mode.

leaving the nest by WeeFairyFabi 2023-10-03T15:12:03Z

Great interpretation of the theme. Loved the graphics, really cute sketch style.

Idol Hands by MatthewDrake 2023-10-04T20:07:58Z

Cute sprite art and I'm always a fun of puzzle games ^^ The block puzzle fits the theme well for sure

I'm not sure if it is a bug or if I'm overlooking something... How is my little Acolyte supposed to use the left idol block...? Screenshot 2023-10-04 220556.png

FELL OUT by daveranan 2023-10-03T15:01:44Z

Really nice game overall, love the graphics and the fun dialogue (dialogue based games unite :D)

Unfortunately I was not able to find the lighthouse initially without the map here... Could you maybe add a dialogue option to get a hint about where it is in-game?

Also the camera "swinging" a bit when you change your walking direction is a bit dizzying, I'd prefer to manually control it rather.

The Endless Night by Just Dzhi 2023-10-03T15:58:12Z

Very nice game, really liked the graphics. The explosion seems to be overpowered, but because of that I really enjoyed it, after I got beaten on the 2nd night at my first attempt.

Unbenannt.png

The variety of monsters was cool. Could definitively see this expanded into a bigger game.

For me the 5th night never ended, is that intentional? (It is called the endless night after all :D)

LD55 — Summoning

Sum Monsters by eonarheim 2024-04-18T18:29:39Z

Very good execution of a solid take on the theme - really scratched the logic puzzle part of my brain. Beautiful graphics.

Happy Little Demons by zirconcode 2024-04-13T21:30:04Z

The game said I did a good job <3

Took me a moment to realize how to connect the demons, maybe a live preview of dragging the line might be nice.

But an interesting concept overall - and congrats for being one of the first submitted games :D

Waves of Chess by frozenfire92 2024-04-17T20:25:38Z

A nice take so summon chess pieces.

Overall a nice mechanic.

Maybe a little hint when trying to do an illegal placement to explain why it is blocked would be nice. (From my understanding you can't place a new piece if it would be possible to take another piece in one move)

I think this is a great basic premise to explore it more in a bigger game.

Split-Decision by ColeSlaughter 2024-04-17T19:53:08Z

First of: Really impressive tech art and graphics, just beautiful ✨

I'm adding to the chorus of taking a while to figure the mechanic out πŸ˜…

Here's my hypothesis of it for anyone that's stuck: - You click and drag your mouse to define an "edge" along which a molecule gets split - The split molecules then get accelerated away from the "edge", on a perpendicular direction - The blue molecule spawns above / left of the "edge", the red molecule spawns below / right of the "edge" - The blue molecules are charged positively, the red ones negatively - If any two molecules of the same color collide, they combine to a bigger molecule of the same color - If any two molecules of different colors (red, blue and white) collide, they form a combined (i.e. bigger) white molecule - Red molecules score negative points, blue and white molecules score positive points

I think a short hint at the beginning of the game / after x tries with a 0 or negative score would really help. Maybe even something vague like: > Try to consider how molecules move after splitting - your mouse drag does not control them directly.

With a bit of tweaking and maybe a tutorial level at the beginning this feels like it could become a very solid mechanic!

Celestial Panda by LucaVazz 2024-04-19T07:38:38Z

Thank you everyone for the kind feedback so far, the red pandas loved to hear it ✨

@labcatgames @cheesepencil Sorry to hear that you you got stuck at the beginning. Are you sure that you collected all collectible items? The first constellation is rock and moss, as indicated by the grey line in the star view :)

Celestial Panda by LucaVazz 2024-04-19T20:25:09Z

@labcatgames @cheesepencil That's odd - so after you clicked and dragged to form a connection between item stars and clicked on the blue "Confirm Constellation" button at the bottom nothing happend? There should be an animation of the cave wall to show you if the constellation was correct (runes sketch lights up white) or not (runes sketch flashes red).

Rummaging Raccoon by LucaVazz 2024-10-08T12:50:48Z

Thank you all for your feedback so far :love_letter:

We've just added a little tutorial to the game description to explain the mechanics. Unfortunately we were unable to add it in-game in time :/

@patomkin There is a cartridge hidden under the scrap north of C.A.T.-B.O.X. to unlock building rats, which collect the scrap so that the monkeys can salvage it. Unfortunately the monkeys only work on scrap which was collected by rats, not on scrap which ruby the raccoon collected - so sorry for the confusion.

Rummaging Raccoon by LucaVazz 2024-10-08T17:37:19Z

@mullenratte Thanks for your detailed feedback πŸ’Œ

We added a full dynamic soundtrack to the game, so it's unfortunate that you didn't get to hear it :/ On which platform and with what browser did you play the game?

Rummaging Raccoon by LucaVazz 2024-10-09T20:32:38Z

Thank you for your feedback @the-quinnzite-mushroom πŸ’Œ

There is indeed a win screen - in your screenshot you can see that some butterfly bots are still hard at work :) Once all plants are all grown up there is a win screen.

Nectar Nomads by Aaron Huggins 2024-10-25T21:15:01Z

Very cute drawings, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the bees buzz all over the place.

Good implementation of an idle game :yellow_heart:

Veggie Collie by Tinkering Tail 2024-10-25T21:07:02Z

Very nice take on the theme with cute graphics.

I enjoyed the gameplay. Unfortunately sometimes veggies got stuck on a tree at the edge and I spent half my time on trying to rescue that single one πŸ˜…

Moos from the Depth of Space by notnasiul 2025-04-17T20:30:59Z

Really well done game - great art and music and I loved the "mini-map" at the top

Dungeon Cartographer by finntastico 2025-04-17T20:14:40Z

Really nice entry - I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the dungeon on my own, actually enjoyed that there were no hints.

Maybe the torch could have been slightly brighter, but I guess medivel torches aren't that advanced

Here's [my map](https://static.jam.host/raw/f77/c2/z/6c4a4.png) (can you tell that I'm not the artist of our team? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:)

Hollowspire by simex 2025-04-17T21:25:07Z

Really polished game, I enjoyed the "sketched" art style.

Unfortunately there is a rendering bug when opening the game in Firefox :/ Opening it with Chrome works fine though. Untitled.png

Potions on Paws by LucaVazz 2025-04-10T13:15:49Z

hey @mrpoopybutthole, thanks for the comment - we just pushed an update which should fix that problem :sparkles:

Potions on Paws by LucaVazz 2025-04-10T20:12:38Z

@antoine-bodin Unfortunately we didn't manage to implement hints on how to get what effect in the Nekonomicon, so it just relies on trying out different ingredient combinations. The quests are fully randomised though, so if you start a new run, you'll get a different quest.

Submeowrine by duckmaniac 2025-04-17T20:48:49Z

Well polished game, the ambient and adaptive sound track really added to the flair of it.

I saw multiple fish dodging my Submeowrine by directly crashing into a wall, maybe they could be a bit smarter with their swim-path-finding

LD58 — Collector

Cut to Pieces by Sheepolution 2025-10-07T13:38:38Z

Really great game, everything fits together perfectly :star2:

The "rating" of the forged painting unfortunately feels a bit unclear - does a red x mean that the part was completely wrong / just placed wrong / not cut out well enough? Or maybe I'm just complaining because I'm bad at cutting them out

Very nice concept though and great execution!

Collector's case by HeadZerg 2025-10-07T13:48:57Z

Pretty art and a fun concept which you implemented well.

Unfortunately both here and on itch the embedded game is very small, making it hard to recognize things and to read text/money amounts.

Duck Dealer by LucaVazz 2025-10-07T13:02:34Z

@solvenoff @doridie Thank you for your great feedback :duck::yellow_heart:

Also thank you for snitching on the duck buyers - we just pushed a fix, so you can sell each duck only once

The undercover police ducks are very good at being undercover indeed - but they can be spotted. Take a close look at the animation on the police screen, it contains a hint :eyes:

Duck Dealer by LucaVazz 2025-10-07T13:19:46Z

@ira-baciu @lehmy @eggnisi Thanks for the quacking feedback :duck::yellow_heart:

Sometimes a duck is too far away to reach it for collecting - you can only collect a duck if it is highlighted when hovering your mouse over it.

Roots of Sorrow by Solvenoff 2025-10-07T13:58:14Z

Great concept, really nailed the unsettling atmosphere 😱
