Fascinating concept for sure. I think it needs a tutorial of some kind as I'm not sure what to expect or whether something should be working or not.

lucavazz 2022-10-04 18:35

Hey @ruruie, thank you for your feedback, glad you enyojed the overall concept :)

We've just added a tutorial to our game page, please have a look if you'd like and let us know if it clears things up. (We're also intending to add an in-game tutorial to the extended version soon.)

THEY SAID I DID IT

Pretty neat entry. I like the graphics and the sense of speed traveling station to station. One addition you could have made the buying and selling options simpler and had only ten seconds to make your selections there too. Might have been too hectic but an idea. Overall very solid entry!

Very interesting entry. I think a tutorial would be helpful but I really enjoy the concept and the art

skullsprigs 2022-10-05 00:44

very cute little game!! i love the art style here

wizcas 2022-10-05 16:58

The voxel art and motion blur looks nice. Congrats on making so many contents! That's unbelieveable. I hope there's more info on the UI, such as profits and losses, so that I don't have to take a pen to remember all the stocks.

Nice game! It reminded me of the hours I spent in Privateer buying and selling goods among the stars.

It would be nice to see next to your cargo the price at which you bought it!

cheeks 2022-10-06 14:38

So, I take it the idea behind the game was that you would buy cargo at one station, and then sell it for profit at another station? The problem is, you allowed buying and selling the same cargo at the same station and set the sell price higher. At one station I could buy gold and sell it for a higher price without ever leaving that station, so I could just infinitely buy and sell gold to hit the goal without ever moving on. Kwardium had the same issue.

A really interesting concept here. I will admit I found it a little tough to figure out what was going on once I was into the game but I managed to win a couple of times! I love the idea of just travelling around by rail conducting all of your business that way so this was great to see. The visual style is great btw, very pleasing on the eye. You've managed to implement quite a lot in here which is really impressive for a jam!

erlioniel 2022-10-06 19:47

I think a lot of people pointed issues in the entry, so try to keep it in mind when you'll create the next awesome giraffe adventure

lucavazz 2022-10-07 06:56

Thank you all for your great feedback so far 🦒💚

We plan to add more in-game information (a tutorial and a travel log) as well as adapt the selling of items at the same station in our extended version soon - stay tuned for an update ;)

tsunscreen 2022-10-11 07:52

Definitely could use more info in-game as others said, but I liked the look of it and all the different items were hilarious

georgy16 2022-10-11 23:54

Interesting game

tomtomgome 2022-10-13 15:30

Nice Game, It's the king of gameplay that I like. The main problem has already been brought up : You can sell for more money an Item you bought from less money at the same station, so you don't have to move in order to get rich ! An ingame toturial would be nice. An maybe introducing mechanics one at a time, it is a bit overwhelming at the begenning :)

sheol 2022-10-15 01:37

Very interesting take on the theme and overall a very interesting take on a resource management type of game! Had to read the instructions to figure out stuff but once I did it was nice to play. Overall extremely great job!

adjo 2022-10-20 20:19

There's a lot here for a game jam! It's great. As other have said, some issues, but really nice submission :)
