This game is amazing! Love the art and concept
stuck on the second level. tried space, standing on multiple places. didn't do anything. the game does look awesome.
Really polished game, but I discovered a bug: when you go on the smallest pieces you can just move wherever you want.
I love this! The concept is really cool. I did have an issue where flipping pieces didn't always work for me, but I love it all the same. :)
I'm really impressed with the concept of this game. There are some bugs, but it doesn't spoil the impression. Also I love the look of that pixel dude =) Nice one!
Top game really !! At first I doubted if it was actually a LD48 game and thought I misclicked or something. Only thing I'd change is the speed of the character and the fact you have to "mash" the keys to actually go forward, and since there is a lot of moves to make it feels a bit slow sometimes.
Also I managed to get out of bounds of the first moving platform in Level 4 (I believe? Maybe 3) so I stayed tiny and could just go to the end that way ahah. It's actually a great feature of the game because it made me feel smart.

Cheers !
Innovative mechanics!
Cool mechanic. Would love to see a version without the game breaking stuff! I found that I could walk onto the larger tiles while my character was shrunk. I wonder could you make a fractal version with grids infinitely diminishing in size. A world of possibility opened up by this game! Well done!
Found a bug in the HTML version, where at size "x3 small" the game would let me walk over the void.
Cool resizing mechanic, though! Congrats :D
the game allegdes that you can rotate the grids with space, but no matter how much I press it, it doesn't work
a couple bugs here and there (the rotation feature wasn't always working right) BUT music is great and the concept is fantastic. i wonder what it would be like if you could go another level down?
Yeah, the rotation bug is a little frustrating (must be more frustrating for you!) and I was sad because I wanted to complete the game. I'll have to come back later and download it to see if that works.
I really like the concept and zooming in and out was very cool. I'm honestly not sure that you are gaining anything by going isometric with this, but the aesthetic is very cool.
I enjoyed playing it and really liked the concept and mechanics. Great job!
I wasn't always sure when "space" can be used, and the controls felt a bit clunky, but those are minor issues since everything else is very well done, and considering that you did all this in 48 hours, it's amazing job!
Amazing game, the idea is spectacular. (Bug: In the first level I could walk on the void)
Loved the game, it's got some fun art and great music. I didn't always understand the spinning mechanic, and the camera angles made the direction keys confusing sometimes. Overall awesome game!
The puzzle mechanism is a great idea and I like the relaxed music. The camera zooms were too intense for me (dizziness) and the controls feel a bit unresponsive.
Most visually impressive game. I just want to see this taken further. I would also like the animation / tile movement to be quicker. Really great job.
Amazing concept and visuals. The music fits the game well too.
Very cool game, i was waiting your submission to test it after seeing some post. Good job
1. I do think iso perspective is cool here, but input mapping is off by 45 degrees. Arrow keys give me N,S,E,W, but the view shows me NE, NW, SE, and SW, so often I hit the wrong key first. 2. The concept is mind bending, and I love the idea and the ambiance and the music. 3. Regarding the rotation ambiguity. It seems clear that a tile-set can be rotated to a finite set of possible rotations given a specific player position and direction, however these 3 pieces of key info are left to guess-work. If this was a time-limited thing, fine. But I would recommend adding indicators for these 3 items, either visually or with audio, as well as considering some sort of reasoning or motivation behind these constraints.
Very impressive submission!
Saw the progress post on Saturday and was looking forward to actually experience it myself :D
The puzzling difficulty is very good in my opinion for a concept game.
This looks stunning! Really got a nice atmosphere going. That title screen is *chef's kiss* amazing
Very cool concept, excellent atmosphere and nice polished graphics. I wish I could have moved continuously instead of pressing the key for each move. Great entry overall!
The game is really cool and the concept is very innovative. Very good games for a so short time !
Like Quetzakol, I would've liked to be able to move by holding down the arrow keys. I appreciated the way this game used to difficulty of turning around on the spot as a mechanic.
Incredible concept and presentation. The movement feels a bit slow for how much moving back and forth is required, but not to the point that it caused any frustration. I'd be interested in seeing this expanded on.
I love the innovative concept and level design! The controls are getting in the way and I had some trouble figuring out, that I needed to walk back from a movable piece and walk back to it to rotate it. This seems to be intentional, as some puzzles make you turn a piece so you can walk back on it to face another. The minimalistic music and sound effects also really suit the vibe. Good job!
Looks great! And interesting concept. The character moves a bit too slow, one step at a time, and as these steps get smaller as you shrink, it may become a bit annoying, I don't know because I never reached past the third level because the turning stopped working. Only times I managed to turn the block was before I passed it, which didn't help. Oh, and the graphics with the isometric perspective really made me want to play it.
Great concept, great execution! The movement felt fantastic, the input was responsive, fluid and well timed for the speed of each step. I did struggle on the third stage (right after the tutorial of rotating block). Is there a hidden mechanic around how many times you can turn an object? The music is very atmospheric! Really talented creator!
@slagywag No, but I think there's a bug which breaks rotation if you try to spin it too quickly. Thanks for playing!
I beat it in 7 min 21 secs! I liked how the tiny parts looked pretty complicated at first but once you zoomed in it was like you were focusing on the problem and so able to figure it out. I would have liked to move a bit faster but other than that I liked the puzzles. Nice job!
That looks really cool! And a fresh concept too (the shrinking mechanic). For some reason turning did not work in the web version for me, so got stuck quickly - but in the downloadable windows build it is allright. The ambient music is nice too. Good work!
Wow, such a nice concept! I really liked it
Great mechanic, concept and music. Unfortunately I got stuck on the stage 2. I couldnt rotate nothing with space ;(
Very calm, soothing and enjoyable. I like moderately easy headscratchers like these. The last level was a bit buggy. I was able to go beyond the platforms to the green exit without any hindrance.
You mentioned the bug, but I was able to go the smallest scale just by going off the platform where in previous levels, i was not allowed to.
The main idea is pretty amazing! Good entry!
Cool idea for a game, wish there was more to the puzzles. Maybe some enemies or obstacles that stop the player from moving around the map as easily. Managed to beat the game in like 8 minutes while having a little fun with the mini bug.
