Don't Drop The Egg! by rk3Omega 2020-04-22T08:30:41Z
Adding the "don't drop too much" twist normal platformer mechanics really turns this into a unique experience. Also good looking art!

@ssh-randy Thank you! Ideally clients would take longer to buy, so you would be forced to throw them around to keep them inside. Throwing is not a bug at all, it is supposed to be the core feature
@shaubbyplayz Thank you!
@megahana Thank you! The dialogue system needed a bit more polish. Glad you enjoyed the lines anyway.
@rk3omega Thank you for playing! The dialogue system did need a bit more of work. And that last part was bug that we couldn't solve before the deadline :disappointed:
@toddthewraith Ideally the clients would be ungrabbable and would exit the map when reaching the edge of the street, but we couldn't get to it before the deadline! Thank you for playing anyway
@frompdx Nice! That was the core of the whole idea
@magus77 Thank you! @system64 and @paterno did all the assets
@pjnovas You wouldn't survive in the VHS rental business in our current days then
@paulhocker Thank you for playing and leaving a review!
@sztrovacsek Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it
@jarithius Thank you for the feedback! The menus/dialogue system did need a bit more of work. I'm happy that overall it was fun
Great entry! Reminds me of the warioware games. Visuals and sounds are top notch!
VERY addictive! Makes me want to come back every time the time runs out. Graphics are cute and the music is very fitting! Great entry, I believe it is my highest rated one so far.
Great entry! Loved the wobbly path, pretty satisfying to move around. The color and sound choices really bring this game to life.
What a banger! Had a lot of fun reading the emails. The start was painfully close to dealing with university matters online ahah visuals and sounds fit the experience very well, congrats!
Hey I didn't need to feel this stressed this early in the morning :(
Great atmosphere and without sound! Not being able to chop trees after picking up the legendary tree got me panicking since I was very close to the fear limit xD
Fun take on the theme! I'm not usually into puzzle games but this was short and sweet. The first puzzle took me the longest since apparently I can't read (didn't see "clockwise"). Movement is slow but since you can interact with things from far away doesn't make much difference.
Very cool experience! A bit overwhelming at first but you start to figure things out one by one.
Fun and charming game! I like the that it is one button only but found it a bit tricky to get the timing of sprint + jump right. Can clearly see this as a mobile game!
This looks stunning! Really got a nice atmosphere going. That title screen is *chef's kiss* amazing
@shotgunsamurai Thanks! Music is not mine, got it from freepd.com (awesome CC0 music website!)
After a few speed upgrades it is pretty hard to maneuver, otherwise good entry. Music was simple but not annoying, visuals are clear. Good entry!
Great entry! Every level there is more than one new thing to do so you keep learning the whole game. Puzzles not easy but also not frustratingly difficult (exception being lvl 3, SPOILERS AHEAD WARNING STOP READING if you are stuck, think "inception")
When you start there is so much thrown at your face at once that it really feels like you are studying never before seen glyphs!
When you start there is so much thrown at your face at once that it really feels like you are studying never before seen glyphs! (ups, commented twice somehow)
Very polished entry! Visuals are extremely appealing, I could see a full game in this style. Loved the monkey shoot effects. Congrats on getting something so good looking in such a short time! :D
Nice atmosphere! The music is a bit repetitive though. After leaving the first site I kept getting teleported back into the first site (almost made it to the second site once, the other attempts I kept spawning inside site 1)
Charming game! Love the scene transitions. Fun writing, lovely visuals and the music ties everything together just right! Text could have a little more contrast with background :)
Hell yes! Lost track of time playing that jut now. Music was great, visuals are cute, not to unforgiving at the start which is so good. A couple more tunes, a few upgrades and more things to discover and I'd be stuck here for hours. Congratulations to the team!
Fun entry! Visuals and audio are top notch. Maybe would help at first to have a small indicator of where your aim reaches.
Could not play the red level (too laggy) but previous levels were relaxing to walk around. I wish the levels changed slightly with each dream :)
Loved this one! Atmosphere is great and signs add a nice humorous touch. The grip on those feet is incredible!
Great entry! Specially for a first time! It is a bit unforgiving when you mess up, wish it would send you a few floors down instead of just one. Great atmosphere too!
Got me gasping out loud in panic xD ended up getting the moth out with the noodle turned around Great entry, simple and most likely one of the most memorable entries of this jam.
