Kingin' It by JoshyOshKenoshi 2021-10-05T08:54:33Z
The sounds were hilarious, and this reminded me a lot of reigns, which is obviously intentional! nice job, and the ui is not bad to look at!

The sounds were hilarious, and this reminded me a lot of reigns, which is obviously intentional! nice job, and the ui is not bad to look at!
Feels and looks a lot like super meat boy, which i love! very well done!
@nefrace That's most likely an issue on your end, haven't had this issue before, and no one has mentioned it previously, but thank you for the review.
Interesting yet simple concept! those reapers are hard to kill, took some figuring out but i enjoyed it!
I liked the difference between all the weapons, and the clues were simple but fun! I got to the level with the assault rifle, i assume its the last one. I couldn't find out how to progress! but nice work.
I loved this! It reminded me a lot of Enter the Gungeon/Binding of Isaac. Great work all around! Is there an endless version? i want to see how powerful i can get.
This was very good. the game bugged out a few times while trying to choose what prompt i wanted to say to the girl. But i spent more time in the work part then i would like to admit. also nice music!
I liked the characters! and i liked the idea you had for loops, it was smart!
My favorite so far of this game jam! Such a cute little game, great job!
@someone I didn't even think about making the crates destoryable. If i did, everything probably would have been destructible.
as for loop length, making them long and tedious was part of the 'Stuck' part.
@sam-minh Everything but the walking animation was all made by us. All the sounds were made by just recording random things in our living space, and the "voices" were of the other person in my team. Didn't know it was called diegetic UI, thanks for that! will look up some videos on it.
The game itself was pretty challenging to make, but we made it through our goals within reasonable time, and only missed out on 1 major inclusion. Which was a different enemy type.
@fragileannihilator Well I'd say mission complete if it felt repetitive! It seems quite a lot of people bailed at level 3
I have never played as a duck with an eye patch before, this was fun.
Played it with the other person in my team! Super fun and simple, i liked the character design. I am curious about their backstories! A few bugs, but what can you expect. I really liked that you tried to include multiplayer.
Simple to learn, interesting design!
Gotta say though, pretty repetitive! haha get it, because loops. I had to put it on someones game. but honestly, i had fun! nice work.
Reminds me of temple run, nice job!
Very simple, very clear idea of what you are supposed to do. Decent upgrades, gets very stressful
This was easy to learn, but very satisfying to play! i liked making winding streets! Well done.
Very nice game, fits the theme obviously well, and really reminds me of QWOP! i loved it.
I really enjoyed exploring this game, the levels, though procedural, was still pretty cohesive. Finding the stars that were hidden around was fun.
This was fun! i must admit i didn't understand much of the humour, but i liked the town! and i just enjoyed jumped on things to get around the city. nice work!
This was satisfying, burning lots of crawling things with fire usually is! a fun submission!
This was amazing, i played this for way longer than i usually play the submitted games. Great artwork, interesting enemies, great all round! well done!
This was awesome, i felt accomplished when i made it down, and i loved the ending! He is always a welcome addition to any game. Well done!
This would make a really fun mobile game, something to just play and enjoy!
Making a TCG in 72 hours is a pretty amazing feat! well done. I really enjoyed this, and sorting through my deck was really fun!
Very simple, which made it quite addicting, the only issue i had was there was no way to predict where the bats would be. Which made it kinda disappointing when i made it very far and got jumped by a bat. But good submission!
The character design is interesting, it was fun playing with the physics of all the objects!
Interesting Mechanics, i feel like this sort of easy to understand, but can lead to some satisfying stuff!
Bugfixed version has been pushed, apparently its okay to do, as the sensitivity was way too high, and there was a game breaking bug that is now fixed! tagging you guys to let you know its not your PC! @lepoulet @vitor-milioni @whysguy52 @michaelyount
@hilvon The datapad next to the final generator prompts you to get into the room next to you. which is locked, just like other locked doors in the game, you must find the override consoles. then you can enter the final room (now unlocked) to finish the game.
@gramozilho You need to recharge your energy at the generators. The energy bar might be hidden if you are playing the web version in windowed mode!
@pnkvrt Thanks so much for the feedback! i will admit we somehow overlooked the enemy sounds + the feedback on getting hit, still not sure how! we will definitely be working on a post LD version, and will release after the play+rate ends. We have already done a bunch of fixes and added some things.
This was really fun! i may just be silly, but i just couldn't figure out how to progress after the photo door. I want to finish it, but it may just be because im tired! very nice submission, the only other note i have is that quite a few objects don't have colliders, maybe intentional for convience sake, but just letting you know!
I liked the intro cutscene! it was simple enough but enjoyable! the art was also along the lings of simple but nice!
The graphics were really nice, this was a really peaceful experience!
Hand drawing anything is an incredible task! let alone doing it in 72 hours, well done!
I love text based games, and the ending i got was amazing! actually putting a [spoiler warning] I sang to the canary and then accessed the forbidden level! It was hilarious. The bot was great the whole time. Awesome entry!
Reminds me of GTA2, this was a lot of fun. Very interesting you made a whole city too!
I really enjoyed this, it was super simple, had clear goals. the level changing was really smooth, especially that last one! it was short but nice, kinda reminded me of seeing the Temple of Time from Ocarina of Time, just seeing it more and more destroyed in its different states! Overall, very solid! the only tiny note i have is the lantern is yellow but the light is white.
Very simple, but kind of like a puzzle! i like it.
VIVA LA POTASSIUM! I loved this, it was super fun, and hilarious! I enjoyed the overall look of the game, and the mechanics!
Hell yeah! this was great! i have fun trashing the whole world, it is all mine now! reminds me of Rebel Inc, which was a lot of fun! nice work!
This was funny, simple mechanics, but it was enjoyable! nice work!
This is great, really innovative for one! i had a lot fun with this, well done!
really smooth game, i had fun with this! i love explosions and moving fast, this ticked both those boxes! The music is nice too, although kinda loud. Nice work!
@chesschaser did you try it in webgl? it does affect performance a little.
@nshbae wizard security was really lacking in the portal rooms. they didn't have a good budget!
@justcamh thanks again! it was really fun to watch! and the feedback was good, and the jokes were hilarious!
Oh Kevin, what a little rascal! i enjoyed stuffing the child full of cake nad cookies so he didn't smash anything! Easiest 10 bucks of my life!
reminds me of an endless runner on mobile, it was enjoyable! the colors are a little saturated, but managable! nice work!
I enjoyed that this game had a tutorial! it was a good game, it reminded me of an old school RTS, but with a little difference! Nice work!
This was fun and i definitely played it for longer than i should have while rating games! I love clicker games, and this one has some different mechanics to it! the models of the animals are really good, as well as the animations!
An interesting mix of an endless runner and strategy! really good innovation in that mix! well done!
Turret go BRRRRRRR! Fun little game
I had a lot more fun than i thought, being that i directly caused a lot of chaos! a lot of fun! I specifically looked you guys up, because of your last game! (LONG LIVE THE BANANA REPUBLIC!
I really liked this, props to the two writers! don't want to spoil it for others, but the ending was good. The modelling was nice too.
Shooting feels good, i liked the spinny laser guys! Well done!
Trashing the house was fun, i didn't get told off for not cleaning because she was about to tell me off for calling the police, oops! fun game, replayed it a few times just ruining the house, good fun!
Reminded me of the board game Boss Monster, a really cool idea that i think would work if fully fletched out! nice job!
This was a fun short little game, well done! I am sad my ship sank :(
A nice enviroment and atmosphere, it's calming and lonely. The inspirtion from Outer Wilds is clear, well done!
I tried my best to save them, but i think i will lose my medical license! A fun little game!
We do have similar stories! A nice entry!
A good concept with a nice style, was a bit slow, but the leveling up was a good bit of variety to it.
A good theme fitting entry to this jam! a nice short simple game. I panicked when i noticed the water start rising, luckily i had grabbed that key, as it let me unlock the boat!
Not many times have i been a caveman with a gun, always a fun experience, and this was one of those times! i didn't realise how to harvest stuff at first, but i figured it out pretty quickly and i was off to shooting bugs. Nice entry!
@convg that's awesome to hear! i shall let my team know, that game has actually inspired us to work on a bigger game!
@lambbrainz there is a download link if you scroll down!
@real-flamingicecubegames Thanks for the feedback, the group had a lot of fun making this game! the game over animation is definitely a highlight!
This was such a cute game! it may just be a side on platformer, but the art style and he music kept me intriqued in the game. Well done!
Hehe stick basketball. Simple idea. Nice Entry!
Proud of the amount of people i saved! they should be able to restart humanity, maybe! Also love a good tower defence game, well done on this entry!
A lot of fun, found myself yelling at the birds to get off my crops, like a real farmer! I love narrative games, this was short but enjoyable. Well done!
Not sure what i am doing in this, but definitely a good first attempt in the jam!
Plays like a board game, which i really liked, it was quite fun and an impressive use of systems working together, especially in the 72 hours!
This was creepy, i liked it! Haven't played a game like this in a while!
Also lovely sound design!
Everything about this game is fantastic, the art is good, the game is stressful, and the sounds are good, what a great entry! Amazing work in the short time you had! things definitely pile up to get more and more difficult!
This was a simple but effective little horror game, well done! i like the atmosphere of it!
Played this for longer than I was meant to! Super fun and the music is great. I really enjoyed the sword and the revolver! Well done to your team!
This was hilariously cursed, well done!
A nice entry! simple mechanics, but god damn is it difficult to figure out when the controls change! well done!
@oozer Capitalism is the real enemy!
@ubershmekel thanks for the long review! Yeah, we had a few oversights, like we should have made the money worth more at later stages. Also considering adding a second upload with unlimited money so people can just mess around with it!
I really like the graphics and the sound design! reminded me of classic old games. Well done!
A solid first entry!
Love a good puzzle game, i got most of them before i moved on to the next game!
I enjoyed the explosions a lot! good fun, simple and enjoyable entry!
A solid entry to the jam! well done!
(This comment has been cancelled)
A fun version of Vampire Survivor! Fits the jam theme well and is well executed!
Had fun with it, reminded me of old-school guitar hero! Music was a little simple though!
A little slow, but a nice simple game! I may have blown up a few planets just for some corn!
Very fun game! to other commenters, it's made in game maker, so windows think it's a bug/virus, but it's not! actually a solid hack and slash, even if it's a bit easy!
A simple but enjoyable gameplay loop! i like the art style!
I may have murdered many cows along the way, but i eventually had a successful harvest! Fun little game!
Enjoyable game, it was difficult but i enjoyed the turn based style to it! also Web-version worked well!
The tutorial covers the basics, please play it through before going to the main game.
@100th-coin I think playing in ultra-wide mode caused some issues. When you load up the tutorial you are meant to be greeted with some text, teaching you how to play the game. It seems that did not load. That may not fix all your issues but i didn't make it all the way through the video.
I enjoyed this, swinging the thing around was fun and it was easy to learn! nice entry!
A simple and enjoyable little game! He reminded me of Wall-e and the controller reminded me of the Star Wars Lego game droids! nice work!
I liked the sounds. Game was simple but enjoyable, made it through a few years!
took a while but I made a sandwich that was just Mayo! I had fun with this, reminded me of that old Lilo & Stitch game on the internet! Just needed some lettuce :P
Had a fun time with this, simple and quick!
I enjoyed this! I liked my little olive-farming business! Just chilling and making olive oil until the mean worms attacked!
Fun little mini-games, I couldn't figure out how to leave them and try the others, but i just re opened the game! also Mooter Mania was my favorite!
Heck yeah, best game ever! Love pigeons!
Definitely an interesting take on the prompt! a good entry that has a lot of stuff going on!
@cireneikual222464 Jumping should be working!
@hatheus We almost included an npc that wanted bodies. But if you toss them into the void you get paid atleast!
@zminer The cloning process can result in fragile hosts sometimes (all the time)
@itsboats Good idea for the current station to display what it wants! Didn't think of that part. But glad you enjoyed it!
I loved bouncing around the bomb man! good entry!
Song was great! Game was fun. A lot of people will be missing their mail and rubbish now.
The idea and execution were fantastic! nice simple style! a small audio issue, but a good entry!
My truck flipped over mid delivery, was funny! enjoyed the game.
Love the story of this and the design of the goddess! the art was good too! A little sad i could only run over capsule, but still a solid game anyways!
Fantastic entry! I loved the puzzles and the story. The characters were cute and well designed!
The art style and feel of the game was very great for it being a jam game! I thought that dialogue was pretty funny and I just liked flying around as a bird! Well done!
A surprisingly fun game to just run around and see just how big of a snake trail you can make with random things! and piling it all up at the end is pretty satisfying.
Was an interesting version of tetris, enjoyed the old school feel and control scheme!
@d3kryption Currently in discussion to fully expand it!
@annabella-t @ljol3 @jahwffrey Thanks for checking out the game! co-op was the main idea, silly fun with friends is always great! We are also surprised at how well the hosting/joining works in browser too! Will definitely expand on the game when we revisit it some time!
This was definitely the best game I have played so far this jam! Super fun to get some satisfying combos together for very big numbers! could totally see this being a full game! just thinking about the massive numbers you could make is very fun! Great entry, well done!
Interesting concept! It's like a bullet hell but without being able to shoot, so just survive! found myself playing it for longer than I thought! It was fun, a good entry, well done!
@breadstick Our favorite comment so far! thanks for checking it out, we patched a few gamebreaking bugs, so hopefully it works a bit better, but thanks for checking it out! And the cursed relic is Ricky, he is cursed, and continues to curse us all with his presence. Was inspired by Slay the Spire!
@poboy Hey we got an F from the OSHA, that means 'fine', yeah? Thanks for playing!
@rhookx We took the approach of mostly ignoring the theme, oops, but we reasoned out that it could be people signalling you for food, or you hitting the bell to signal them about the food, but we weren't too attached to it! thanks for playing!
Love the music and the atmosphere of this game, the skybox is genuinely fantastic, however you did that, well done! I just liked running around and enjoying the vibe of the game! Well done!
Feels surprisingly good for how it looks, no offence, just the colours are a bit intense, but a fun little entry, well done!
