Love the aesthetics for this game and the mechanic of choosing which side to fire. Felt fair throughout the game difficulty wise, loads of variety for a Ludum Dare game, and had lots of fun all the way up to the end. Amazing job!

Fun to play. Loved the smacking sound
Nice job with voicing the tutorial. Idea with right and left side controls is very cool. And fish are great.

It got a bit hectic trying to defend from two sides at once while your ranged weapons were overheating. I enjoyed it!

Animations are very detailed, I very like it, everything move nicely, it give a very good mood to the game. The gameplay is ok, I like the progression of the game from the surface to the depth. I think I didn't understand the ending, I need to think about it  Well done !
Had fun bonking the marine life. I like the background you got going on. Looks good.

This is a really tight game with a great concept :) The graphics is good, and the effects are very effective. It's very well polished, the inclusion of a good in-game tutorial is rare to see in an LD game. I really like the variance in weapons. Constructive feedback-wise, I'd recommend adding some optional alternative key controls for next time. For example on macos (sorry), the right click is hard to use in a game so some random keys could be used as an alternative while still keeping the mouse for aim.
----
For anyone getting "You don't have permission to run" on macos, you can run:
"chmod +x PostalPlunge-MacOS/PostalPlunge.app/Contents/MacOS/Postal\ Plunge" in the folder from terminal ----
@cal Thanks so much for the feedback! Good point about using right click for mac, I was potentially going to make a mobile game version in which there is no right click. I think that adding another button or extra key support is a great idea. Thank you all for your feedback!

Pretty fun game. Getting more and more hectic if your pressing the wrong mouse button a few times... I enjoyed it
Game was very fun to play. The fact that the ranged weapons were not side by side made it a little confusing on which mouse button to click. Apart from that I really enjoyed the game. The tutorial was cool. Solid entry!
Very fun game. Music and sound effects were also great. This could be a very fun mobile game.
very large variety of underwater creatures. Good job!

Very cool, a little bit on the easy side, especially if the controls don't give you any trouble
@msipp27 That was partially intentional, I wanted the majority of people to get to see the ending. However if you want, there is a difficulty slider in the pause menu (press escape). Good luck!
I liked it a lot. I don't understand what "flibber.exe" is but somehow I beat the game and the ending made me laugh.
I think you are right about difficulty - Game jam games should err on the side of being too easy. It is still fun to play a too-easy game once or twice. It is never fun to play a too-hard game once when I'm supposed to rate 20 games for a jam.
Also, somehow the bizarre weapons and spinning lights and scrolling background reminded me of Einhander. So you got a point for that.
This was awesome, i felt accomplished when i made it down, and i loved the ending! He is always a welcome addition to any game. Well done!

I really like this game! The gameplay was pretty creative and felt comfortable, the difficulty scaling came in handy too. You even had a boss to fight. So much content for such a short experience!
Good music and the character design was unique and funny. Well done
