Awsome Game! I love how you bind the keys at the beginning, it adds a nice touch.

Awsome Game! I love how you bind the keys at the beginning, it adds a nice touch.
Awsome! I love the level design, It was kinda hard to keep all my stats high but overall a generally easy game!
The moving engine became really anoying during the double jump engine I was only able to jump 1/2 the time I tried and never in mid air, either then that cool game! (so far at least)
Super fun Game! I love the mechanics and stuff! Quite frustrating when you get to a super high place and then you fall XD. Good Job!
A very interesting theme! Especially from building something from nothing. Its pretty difficult at the beginning until you get the hang of it and you can play without dying in the first minute.
Lit game! awsome graphics and a neat storyline! Im a big fan of the pixle animations too.
Loved the overall game and sounds! Great Game!
Not bad! Yea unity is pretty tough, but rewarding if you know what to do. Good Game overall!
Cool Mechanic! Kinda hard to understand at the beginning but then it got eaiser 2nd round.
As I was loading it the loading bar got stuck at about 1/3 of the way. I don't know if this is a bug or just my super crappy laptop that can barely run my own game...
@dreml oh great thx!
Great Simulation! I loved all of it! especially the little blue guys XD.
Cool game! pretty challenging, but once I got the hang of it it became quite fun. I really liked how you could go back into rooms you hade discovered and they wouldn't have changed.
Lit game overall dude! I like how its playable on a pico! 5/5 on humor!
Super fun and cute game! One bug? i found was when you jump and get hit by an enemy your charecter kinda glitches out and bounces back and fourth.
Awsome Game! I saw that you had posted a gif in the comments of ldjam during the jam, and I was like, man that looks lit, I wonder how I could do it... Thx for including the source code!!
Nice game! This was also my first game jam in which I made my first game! (the background music though... it gets really annoying after a while XD) Honestly I'm not a big fan of the whole point of trying to increase your family, but change it up a bit and you have a pretty nice game!
Thanks for the feedback guys! I am going to try to complete it and put a version on Itch.io but, yes to those of you who are confused as to how to defeat the final burger at the end: as of now there is no way to successfully kill him. By pressing I you can see what items you have currently unlocked to defeat the next creatures in the timeline, but either then that there is no other visual effect as to possessing the objects.
Super laggy when I started it, but after that it was still pretty laggy. Overall nice game! I really liked how the camera motion blur looked, it really gave the mood a whole new dreamy effect.
Great idea and game! I love the overall gameplay, but you should add an animation for when you get hit, add to the overall coolness.
A few spelling mistakes at first so I was worried what the whole game would be like, but that just ment more time was spent on the actual game itself! Great Game!
For 12 hours of work... WOW! that is amazing! great job you could take it a step further and add different types of trees or something.
Well done! The block placing was a very interesting system, and I like it.
Definitely my favorite game this jam, feels super complete and really fun to play. Also I love how it is pretty easy to pick up, you don't have to spend a lot of time figuring out the controls.
Super fun to play after I got the hang of it, awesome idea as well! Overall a pretty fun and addicting game!
Reminds me about angry birds... maybe the dots that show where your going? Overall a really fun and addicting game! Nice job!
A really fun game! Not to tricky not to tough. Nice job with the graphics and sounds as well!
Nice game! I think it would really add some more excitement to your game if you had a random word selector which made the whole game a little more difficult along with the time you had to hit the keys changing in tune with the music, Nice Game Overall!
Overall a really fun game! I love the intro and all the little dialog boxes! Overall a really nice professional game!
What a fun little game! I really like how you included the difficulty slider. I haven't seen many games as good as this one! Good luck with your score!.
A fun little game that really goes well with the theme "Keep it alive"!
Not that bad! I like the style of graphics where it was 2-dimensional but with a 3D mechanic. Although this caused some issues for me. Trash kept spawning behind buildings and lamps where my ray casts were blocked which made it so I ended up loosing even though all the trash I could click was gone. Aside from that I enjoyed it! O also Awesome pixel art btw!
@elmos-minion I've heard some complaints about that, I will look into that but there is a powerup that allows you to change direction whenever you want. @patrik-l Thats a cool idea about a cooldown timer! @curtis-pelissier try re-launching or reloading the page, the terrain may have glitched it out. Or your computer may not be able to handle all the particles that have been instantiated.
The gunplay could have been a little better, It was kind of annoying wanting for the bullet to slowly glide across the screen, but the controls and everything else was amazing (except for some of the offset colliders that would block your shots) Overall a pretty good game, the best 3D game I've played so-far!
Not bad! Although when I spawned in I immediately was hit by a zombie and half my health was gone. The gunplay was a little strange as the bullets wouldn't go exactly to where you clicked. But Overall a really nice and fun game! (Upgrades would be really cool)
Not bad! I really like the mechanics! Just the perfect balance of difficulty as well!
Not bad! I love the gunplay! and the zombies throwing what... their limbs?...
Pretty interesting! I enjoyed dying a crap ton just to build an army of myself. A few parts were confusing and an ammo system could be pretty interesting.
Thank you so much for the tutorial! It's really obnoxious when a game throws you into itself without letting you know how to play it! Also epic theme execution!
I enjoyed this game a lot! My favorite part being the microwaves XD. There was one but that I kept on hitting where I could not move, that may have been me not noticing something important. If it was the result of running out of energy or something, it would be nice to have some sort of indicator to tell you when you ran out of movement. It might also be nice for it instead of stopping you entirely, it just slows you down a bit.
(Edit:) I notice now that there is an explanation point above the player, it still would be nice if there was something slightly more noticable. Such as a screen distortion of overlay.
Great game overall!
That was really fun! Took me a little bit to understand what I had to do and the 2 looked a lot like a Z lol. Overall epic submission!
@matlab I think that that bug happened when you progressed and entered another bit of dialogue while another was still playing. Working on a fix soon!
@samuel-hollywood-summers Oh yea the parallax is backwards XD, in the bottom of the pit you might need to jump and shoot down to get enough recoil to launch yourself out. Aside from that... If you die you get a little bit of ammo if you ran out previously. Thanks for the tips and suggestions!
@fabula-rasa I'm going to work on a fix for that gibberish right away XD! That is a pretty lame bug, I'll also try changing the brightness of the background parallax to add more contrast.
@100th-coin thank you for your input, I knew something was up with that parallax and I could not quite figure it out. The tutorial I was trying to follow wasn't working so I tried another one (because I have absolutely no experience in parallaxes) and merging the scripts is I think what caused lots of strange issues.
I loved the idea of hiccups bringing you back a little bit! Great overall project!
Super fun! I really liked the 2d but in a 3d space twist. It added a lot to the overall mood and made the fight much better.
I really like the idea of the room swapping when you go through a portal! It would be really cool to add more visual effects later on if you decide to work further.
It's got a nice mood about it, and a fun atmosphere to play in. I love the effects and how much the game feels complete. Good work!
Nice submission! I really enjoyed playing around in your levels. Definitely had a portal vibe going on lol.
That was an interesting experience, I really liked the eerie mood about it all. Great submission overall!
I love the cute little guys and your basic concept of the theme. Epic sounds btw XD
I love that concept! The camera movement made me a little sick tho lol, I really liked the mood and how you put the levels together in such an eerie way! Movement felt quite responsive although it would be nice to have the controls change to better suit the orientation of the camera.
I love this game XD, Something about yeeting little people into the sky just to watch fall infinitly into the abyss seems really funny... Awesome Submission!
Bravo! I love the little enemy death sound. It is the literal definition of when that 'a' key on my keyboard gets stuck down.
Wow, that was kinda depthie, really smart way of implementing the 'depth' part of the theme lol. I love the simplicity of your game. Nice submission!
Sadly I have no friends, but I definitely am a fan of co-op games. I love all the little aspects to this game, from the art to the gameplay, to the idea. Very nice submission!
Nice game! I love the sound design lol, not to mention the entire atmosphere of the game, from the glowing of the red laser, to the little dust particles that shoot out from your feet.
Nice Submission! I love the little bubbles from the propeller, adds a nice touch. Not to mention, the main character is a literal footlong. Some more enemies and variety might be nice, either than that great work!
@cal Thanks so much for the feedback! Good point about using right click for mac, I was potentially going to make a mobile game version in which there is no right click. I think that adding another button or extra key support is a great idea. Thank you all for your feedback!
@msipp27 That was partially intentional, I wanted the majority of people to get to see the ending. However if you want, there is a difficulty slider in the pause menu (press escape). Good luck!
Interesting premise! I like the general gameplay and it definitely has a lot of potential! Some particle effects may be nice as to indicate more clearly which objects do what. Nice submission overall!
Fun little game! I love all of the small mechanics, especially the art! Great game overall!
Nice game! I really like the ambient lighting and the fast paced music. Lovely little game.
I deffinitly cannot relate to this game in any way shape or form, especially because I am not 21, but now I know what it is like to be under the influence and how often I can fall over, unique game!
Wow, im not gonna lie, I really liked how you had the player start out anticipating some sort of sci-fi adventure game, and then you get this masterpiece of non-fiction. I am a huge fan of these games that have legitimate moral explainations and dillemas. Well done!
That mobie was pretty dang groovy, I loved the lil robots lol. Interesting game, with a cute simple concept! nice job
I definitly had some trouble around the walls, and just general collision, as well as the one-tone background music, even though it added some nice ambience, it also started to get a little irritating after 30 seconds or so. I love the art and the mood though! Well Done!
Lovely, deffinitly felt pretty wobbly, I loved trying to stack the bottles so I could deliver more at once. Sound design was ecceptional . Well done!
Nice Submission! I liked the ambiance of it all, lighting is always really hard to get right in 2D games. One thing that was rather tough for me, was finding where the objective takes place. Maybe an arrow or some sort of indicator that points in the right direction would definitly help. Overall lovely game! (Aside from the fact you are dripping off into insanity and the world is about to end...)
Well done! I found it was really tricky to move, which obviously was the goal so nice job there. One problem I did have was starting a level about 50% of the china would just randomly explode, I fixed this by resetting the level, so whatever code you have there is working great. Overall nice submission!
Nice! I agree with most of these people, making your game more fast paced would deffinitly make it more fun. I love the lil bald guy lol. Well done!
I enjoyed what I could play of your submission! I had a hard time getting past the first obstacle, although I must say the implementation of console commands was hard to figure out at first, but really really cool when I figured it out. Fantastic Submission!
Lovely submission! I really like your implementation of the theme, rather unique if I do say so myself. Not gonna lie, this is your best submission yet, its really cool to see how your coding skills have developed over time! What did you use to program it this time?
Pretty dang tough, not gonna lie I liked how the ship had stuff sliding around that you could navigate. Nice submission!
Wow this was really deep, I loved it! I really found it interesting how your art reflected how the character was feeling at the time, if he was taking drugs and drinking his art reflected that of hoplessness and addiction, where as when he would take walks and write about his feelings the art was more hopeful and colorful. Very well done!
oh my goodness, that was miserable lol. I love the uniquness of your game! but man is it hard to play for someone as motion sick as me... A really unique and fabulous game, I bet playtesting this was fun...
Thanks for all the feedback everyone! These last few weeks have been crazy and it has been a miracle that I was able to publish this game and get some reviews out...
@weine I plan on potentially introducing the game-in game-rather than introducing it through a practice level, so I keep the fast paced motion of the game, thank you for your feedback!
@ubershmekel Wow nice score! When I was playtesting it, I found that most people died around 500-700 so I kinda cut off the difficulty curve around there (mostly to save time), adding more content is something I definitly want to pursue in though. Thank you for your feedback!
@barrier Tis unfortunate, I would have loved to include more elon-musk references than just a simple rocket ship, and potentially even a boss, but I had to conserve time as best as possible. Something I might pursue when/if I publish a final version.
Once more, Thank you so much everyone for your feedback!!! It means a lot and has inspired me to potentially make this a complete game, (with multiplayer :smirk:), It definitly has been an adventure this last week, I acctually had several college papers that I had to work on back to back with this jam, and I am very happy that this game turned out as well as I was hoping it would.
Personally I wish I had developed the mood and enviroment of the scene more, a cityscape in the background with smog and other ambience would have definitly added to this game more. However, I am glad that I was able to focus on making this game very fast paced and engaging.
Good Luck to everyone who is competing! I cannot thank you all enough for your feedback and encouragement.

Very interesting... I love how you rated it E lol, this was a wonderful game, it has a really nice retro-arcade style and vibe, I definitly could see this becoming an arcade game. Some more content would be interesting, maybe another edition of the roach, and some other types of 'consumables'. Well Done!
I love this game. I love how its really rewarding when you solve the puzzles, and how its worked into the story really well. And bro that glitch effect got me trippin... that was so hot
lovely game! The collision was a bit funky on walls, and the game was pretty tough, but overall a fantastic idea and wonderful execution I enjoyed playing it and after I got the hang of it, it was pretty entertaining. Epic submission!
Intersting game! It would be interesting if you added some progession that made the waves bigger and bigger as you went on. Nice physics, overall lovely submission, nice work!
It was a little tricky to understand the moving conditions of the shells, but once I got the hang of that it was a pretty neat game! I like your implementation of the theme as well, rather unique!
I love your art and mood, the dialogue is a bit lacking, however I acctually played through this entire game! Which is really quite rare for a jam game as they tend to be rather hard. Well Done!
I love this game so much... It is creepy in a way that just makes sense for the theme, and is by far the best take on the theme I have seen. Incredible game! Very well done! I love how the window scales when you die, really neat feature that makes it seem super buggy.
Lovely game, I loved how unique the controls were. How be it difficult, your game had an interesting vibe, especially with the effects and sprites. Well done!
Your idea is solid! It has a lot of potential, some balencing and maybe some powerups. I really love the cute little graphics, (you might have to change some antialiasing settings). The vibe of your game is spectacular, it really feels like something on cool-math-games which is awesome for a jam game, well done!
Lovely game, well done! Rather tough tho. I love the mood, that outline with your art design was really interesting.
Interesting game! It might be a tad more interesting if you add more challenging features. Nice game overall!
Lovely Game, by far the best looking game I've seen so far. I think the visual rendering might have glitched for me because my meter had't filled up and my character was not rendering lots of waste on my back when I toppled. Aside from that this was a wonderful sumbission with incredible mood... Good Luck!
A wonderful base for a horror game, interesting take on the theme! Well done, the atmosphere could use a little bit of work and a theological joke here and there will help make the game more meaningful, but thats really only if you want to make this into a real game, which I totally think you should!
Lovely submission! I remember my first jam, you did infinitly better than me, good job lol. I love how you implememnted the theme. I found it interesting how you gave a PvE objective as well instead of just a parkour game.
Lovely, but difficult experience. I enjoyed the feedback for when you would get hit, but as you probably had read several times now, the jumping mechanic was a bit finicky. After some work this game could really slap. Good Luck!
Nice game! I wish there wasn't a cooldown and maybe a wpm meter, real words to type could be really neat. This game has a ton of potential, good luck!
The darkness made it really hard to keep track of where I had been, however, the sound design and mood were top notch! Maybe like a candle feature, or something that showes you where you have been. Overall I really enjoyed! Well Done!
Nice Game! At first it was hard to figure out what was happening, but before I knew it all my guys started taking a dip, I would reccomend adding a score counter.
Overall very nice entry!
Very Nice Submission! You have yourself here one of the most complete foundations to a game with a lot of potential, you should definitly add more variety and maybe some more turrets and recipes. Very fun and polished! Well Done!
I love the arcade-like mood that it has! The sensitivity was very high and I had quite some trouble navagating the tough parts, which could indeed work to your advantage if that is what you were going for. The danger bar in the bottom corner was rather hard to notice until it was too late, it may work to your advantage to add a small animation or something that grabbs the attendtion of the player.
Overall very fun and wonderful take on the theme!
@karahan This is exactly what I was going for! Ideally I wanted people to play it the first time, see what did not work, why people died and correlate it with different events, eventually creating a strategy to keep everyone alive!
@blizzsuxx I noticed this problem when one of my friends was playtesting and found a similar bug, I attempted to resolve this by making people angry when a rock hits nearby them. Let me know if you have any solutions or new feature ideas!
@enjaku There are several ways to manipulate their feelings, normally negatively, whereas the best way to control them is to "eliminate the weak" or people prone to strong emotions, and wait till a therapist falls out of a building if your lucky.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR FEEDBACK!!! I appreciate it greatly and was hoping for this game to be a type of learning-esk game, shooting for a problem solving approach to get people thinking as to how they could stop a mass genocide!
Very nice entry! Its rare to find a solid 3D game, let alone html5, thank you for this! I really liked your sound design and overall flow; however, it would have been nice to have the game speed up over time, or have the enimies gain on you quickly and you have to use some element of critical thinking, or the boost, to get away from them. Overall I really enjoyed playing this! Well Done!
Unique take on the theme! I bet if you had more time you totally could make this some super epic strategic tower defense game! It would be nice if you had some sort of algorithm that would target groups of people, instead of you having to attack them by hand, however it added a sense of urgency having to control them all. I enjoyed your concept and the gameplay was really fun! Well Done!
WOW very well done! By far one of the best games I've seen so far this jam! This is much better than anything I made when I was 12 lol, keep it up! Good Luck! Wonderful simple platformer, you absolutly nailed the character movement, that especially is a hit or miss in the LDJam, and you got it at 120%, I loved how you had to use some critical thinking to navigate the platforms, tough at times, but definitly rewarding! Well Done!
Nice Game! Really fun and cute, definity would work well as a mobile game if you choose to continue it, its fun simple and fast paced. Well Done!
Pretty swaggy game! I do have to say the game does get somewhat repeptitive after a while, traps, or maybe expanding the map slightly would be pretty neat. Nice Entry!
Sick game! I love to see that retro shader effect that makes the whole game feel like your in an arcade.
What a fun little game! I loved all the cute animations and graphics, mood was great! It created an interesting challenge trying to create a little loop to run around, planting and slaying. Nice Entry!
@procrasteroid The objective of a raid is to reach the bottom of the ship, where there is a core you can steal. Thank you for your feedback!
Thank You for the feedback everyone, to anyone commenting, or looking through the comments, I recently pushed an update fixing this game breaking bug, (I believe it was a divide by zero error), if anyone else enounter's it please let me know! (As of 3:10 1/9/2023)
@zungryware Thank you very much for your feedback, I absolutely agree. I realized that we bit off quite a bit more than we could chew. We decided to follow through, however, because we intend to turn this into a full game. (Just to add a little background). The levels aren't procedural, I haven't explored that domain nearly enough to feel comfortable working on any of that in the time that we had. But that is something I very much intend to work on soon. Thank you once more for your feedback, I appreciate the constructive criticism you have given and I will take it into account in developing the complete game.
I love your little rotate to face the mouse feature, it looks super sick. I gotta say your sound effects and music choice are freaking top notch my guy :ok_hand:
Honestly, I absolutly loved your game. Even though it does not fit this steryotypical feel of an arcade style game, it feels like something you could really polish and turn into a complete game, with a campaign and maybe a fun little selling mechanic (something I hope to implement further in my own game). I really liked your game, all the mechanics felt very polished and unique, I have no idea how you pulled off that camera spot effect, was it raycasting? Good Luck with your results!
I enjoyed it! I loved the grotesk gourdy vegtables and fruits, it was pretty fun smacking them with my hoe
I love you game so much. The derpy rock is my fav, best of luck to you with the results! Even though it was very very short, I really liked the premise and the cute little sound effects. I love the music btw!
Fun little game, you nailed the atmosphere. I love the combat mechanic, I was plesantly supprised when I descovered I did not need to shoot at the enemies, and it was an automatic feature. Nice entry!
Very polished game! Nice entry, the controls almost were a mechanic in themselves, it would have been really cool to see some sort of gust of wind or something that would inhibit or change the user's ability to fly straight. Overall very nice entry!
Wonderful entry! Its rare to see a thought out in-depth story in a jam game and you got something special here! Well Done!
Swell game! I loved plowing over the cows, even though it took out a good chunk of my wheat, It would be cool to see em move around or eat wheat on their own. I gotta say I love some good particle effects, and you stinking nailed that lol. Great Job!
I loved all the art and animations, really made it feel like a fun arcade game. Controls felt great! Nice entry
I really enjoyed this game! I loved how the shapes of attack added an interesting mechanic init of themselves, it would have been interesting to see a cooldown of sorts or something else forcing me to use other attacks, I did like the feature where certain attacks made other plants grow instead of destroying them. It was pretty easy to see this though from the highlight on the ground.
Very polished! The dash mechanic was a little hard for me to understand, but I really enjoyed traversing the levels and the combat! Nice game!
