This is a fun little game! I think the mechanic is clever and a lot of fun. I wish there was a timer so we could comment with how long we were able to last! One thing I noticed was that when you have one islander left, it seems pretty easy to keep them alive by building pillars with a one gap block between them. The art is really cute! Overall a fun experience!

are the supposed to be able to be stopped by tall pillars? I couldnt keep them from falling off the edge :( but cool game though
as @Rxbbie said, it is actually quite easy to protect the last survivor. Apart from that it is a nice game and I really felt bad when the cute islanders died.
I enjoyed this a lot! I wonder if limiting the tiles you can drop while also adding extra features would help, or if that distracts from the simplicity, Cheers Arend

@rxbbie, @lord-shulky, @arend-hintze, Thank you for playing. I wanted to make more mechanics including bying additional ground blocs for resources gathered by the alive islanders, but couldn't make it in time.
@boc-dev, units don't run outside the island bounds, but they consider ground under the water to be the island too. So if part of the island is already under the water, they can jump there. I thought about making them stop if there is safe area to jump on, but I decided it would be too easy.

Island men are so cute) Good job! Congratulation with game!
Neat mechanic! It's pretty fun to wave your mouse around in the sky and drop land on them from up on high :)

Nice! Cool behaviour of the people (very good implementation). Feels very very alive. I tried to save them, but I lost all of them. Very solid graphics. In WebGL I did not hear any music.

@itzemii, I'm sorry, but I failed to add a music in time. Some guys promised to help me with sounds and music, but didn't make it.
@itzemii, @jerryberry, @evilsock, Thank you for your kind words!

At first it seems that everything is easy, but every minute they sank faster and faster. :D :D :D Nice job!
Nice Game! At first it was hard to figure out what was happening, but before I knew it all my guys started taking a dip, I would reccomend adding a score counter.
Overall very nice entry!
You've nailed the progression of difficulty! It starts out just deceivingly easy enough that it catches you off guard when everything gets up to speed

Fun game! I wish my guys couldn't scale straight up walls to kill themselves but I figured out a pretty good strat to box them in underground!
very cool! I like your game. Like others already wrote, i like the difficulty increase. For a long time i imagined i would "beat" the erosion. But then it went so difficult and fast, that i just wasn't fast enough with my mouse. Your pixel sprites are cool! <3 And i think that you implemented your idea in a simple, but very well functioning way. This was fun! :-)

I'd like for there to be a conclusion, like building enough surface to reach a safe space and the score would be the number of Units still alive. Good work!
Interesting concept and nice art, but would have been better with a timer so we could see how long we lasted
Very nice concept!

so sad to lose all the little guys! :( no matter what they found a way off the island. even when i bult the sides to th top and kept the floor filled in they fell over the sides. i would like some more UI. some timer or score or something alike as you will be losing all of the islanders but would like to see how long i was able to keep them from killing themselves. like the concept. it could be great with some work.
Great game!
I've never seen anything like it, good idea. I think music and sound would be good
Really unique presentation of erosion, seeing the air bubbles go up while your own blocks was pretty hectic. I actually couldn't really tell what the logic was behind all the clicking (due to having to keep everyone alive quickly), but I ended up going with a strat where you box in the sides, and then try to encase those suckers in :P

Pretty nice game dude! Was quite fun and I think that you really did well with hitting the theme of the jam. Just the same comment as other people about the sound / music. Shame you got let down by other people on that. Great effort dude

Nice game! took me a lil while to understand what I have to do but looks great! Well done!
Fun idea with easter eggs. I thought of working with terrains too, but then... Anyway, that's a very nice concept that lacks kicking sound design, of course. But great job, thank you!
Interesting game. The units would rapid fire jump up walls so I was a lil confused how to keep them in. It doesn't feel like there's much stakes or pressure at the beginning of the game and some music would've helped. I think seeing the air bubbles kinda rise to the surface was a cool addition.
Very cute little game. I like the premise but I couldn't figure out what prompted the little guys to run off the side of the island. I tried a few strategies and it seemed they just kind of randomly decided to fall. A little more feedback on why that's happening would be nice
Really cool, however it was a little upsetting when they would just jump off the edge.
Played the android version. Excellent game, with a lot of potential for additional mechanics and such. Very cool.

Nice idea. Would've loved some sound effects, or at least a bit of music. I had a bit of a hard time understanding how to keep them from going over the edges, as they'd simply 'climb' over them, even though I made them really tall. With some audio feedback, and maybe a bit of UI, this could turn into a fun little game.
Thanks for sharing your game :-)

Great idea! At first I was unsure about the difficulty, but it got really hard! I would have wished for a timer to compare with others' or the own performance. Apart from that, the game was very entertaining, innovative and the simple controls felt and worked smoothly and fast. You did a good job!

It reminded me of the first Populous games. I loved removing the earth below the enemy people and watch them drown stupidly.
I'm not sure to understand why, but if you put soil on the borders of the game area, people will automatically walk too far and fall in the water. If there is no soil on the borders, people kindly turn back when they reach the borders. So, we just have to be careful enough to put lands everywhere, except on the two border columns.
As others said, we need a score. I would say that just telling how many times we managed to survive won't be a precise calculation. If you can last for one minute with only one people, you should score less than if you last one minute with two people. Maybe granting one point per second and per people alive would do a fair score calculation.
Just to be fun and cruel, I would have loved to see the drowned people floating on the water surface like dead fish, then slowly going to the depths of the water.
Nice game. Needs more mechanics to have the incentive to play and discover it for more than 10 minutes, but nice game anyway.
I love the sprites from Pixel Frog, thank you for having made me discover this artist.

Really cool game, reminds me of Lemmings a bit. It's very creative and original!
