Nice take on the Theme and mechanics to go with it! The retro monitor art style is very well done too! I did accidentally assign a few keys wrong - try playing the game with all the directions muddled up  It would have been nice to have a way to reset the game. Maybe have a button or a key available from the start, or registered early on.
Nice job
You even start without key bindings. That's good! You nailed the art and music too.
Well done.

Nice game :) I couldn't move right at some point (I had an S stuck my @)
I love the green glowing monitor effect too, I think that worked very well with the ascii-based graphics. Another thing that I found very well done was the sound design, with how the background tune only advances when you do something, I found that it made me try to play as fluid as possible to keep the tune going, that's a very cool effect. The game is very challenging too! I once made it until D characters appeared, but then the D got the better of me. That's very fun, it makes you want to try again and get farther ahead, a very satisfying gameplay cycle. Very well done!

Takes me back to some of the games I played as a (very young and bad at these games) kid. Echoing that the monitor effect is great and adds a lot, and the theme based around dungeoning makes a lot of sense. Classic, retro-modern, and cool.
Wow nice game, really cool asthetic. I think you nailed the graphics on this one.

I did not realize you could pick controls until second try :D
Great game, but it's missing sound when you get hit, it would make it much clearer what is going on.
I really liked the graphics and overall stylization of old-school terminal and text games of these times.
Absolutely steller graphics! Love your entry and was an any blast to play, 10/10 game
I really liked how you made player bind keys at the start of the game. I might steal that idea in the future if you don't mind. I really liked the ascii style mixed with post processing effects. Thank you for this game. I had fun playing it.

Great little rogue like, a lot more finished than mine.
Awsome Game! I love how you bind the keys at the beginning, it adds a nice touch.
I really like the sound and graphics! And I managed to kill some enemies :D Really cool game!

Loved how the game was simple ASCII but it still is stylized with screen effects, very cool :) Also loved the fact that you can set bindings as you go, very useful! The encounters were pretty fun too so overall this is a very solid entry, well done!
Really enjoyed the graphics. And the key assignment part at the beginning! Fun little roguelike
Really nice idea and well executed. Sweet way of adding key-bindings at the start of the game.
Loved the old computer screen look and going traditional rogue-like. Game was perhaps a little too easy, though. Didn't even get to use my open door skill before I won the game. Perhaps some feedback when fighting would have been nice as well (don't think there was even a sound?). Also, I had to ctrl+alt+del to close the game after - or did I just miss a way to exit the game?
Overall, I very much enjoyed playing the game - and with more features you could have a very good classic rogue-like on your hands. Good job.

I really like the whole retro look/feel of it, the music beep boops playing as you take actions is great! I also made a game based on a computer screen (you've already played it, thank you!), and would be really interested in how you did the curved screen/fish eye effect?

Thanks to everyone for playing.
@realitycheck I completely forgot about some way to close the game (mostly because I only tested it in windowed mode). What do you mean by winning the game? In theory it should keep going until you die, although it is entirely possible that it isn't working properly.
@psiv I used the unity post processing system for the curved screen effect. Its mostly a lens distortion with some vignette and a small amount of chromatic aberration.

@wevel thank you thank you, I will have a mess around with it!
I love this, so much nostalgia. For sure will play more! :hearts: I think you need to show this to /r/roguelikedev/.
this was a very cool take on roguelike -- a little frustrating at first but picks up -- great job
