Wow nice game, really cool asthetic. I think you nailed the graphics on this one.

Really nice game, only real complaint is that the movement feels a little slow when going from tile to tile.
Nice game
Interesting game, it was a bit confusing starting off though. Controls felt a little weird.
This was a pretty nice game. I didn't complete it though. Got stuck at the part with the tower and the 2 robots. Platforming with the robots is kinda frustrating at times because of the small window to get the most out of your double jump. Other than that this game was pretty good.
This was definitely very interesting, but not my finger is aaaaaa. Nice!
lmaooo this game was funny, good job!
I think your game is broken. I tried to play it but it just gave a black screen with music playing in the background.
Very good game, I liked the zelda-esque feel but it also had platforming elements which don't see very often in Top-Down 2D games. Good job
This was a fun puzzle game. Nice graphics, audio, and feel to it.
This was an interesting game. I found the speed of the spinner to be very frustrating and couldn't get past the first dungeon I tried to beat the level about 15 times but then I ended up giving up. The graphics and audio is great though.
This was actually really fun, nice graphics and sound design. The mechanics were pretty unique too. I think I have found some debug controls though. I was using the arrow keys at one point and suddenly all of the pickupable objects were moving around the screen lol.
Interesting story and nice voice acting. Good job!
I like the concept of having to literally build a city from the ground up. It was pretty fun. My only real complaints is the fishing itself a lot of times it visually looks like I should have caught what I'm fishing for but I didn't reel it in. Also how slow the line comes back is a pain. Everything else is pretty great though.
I have no idea what I just played. The controls were very clunky and platforming was very frustrating, I kept falling off the platforms and it was a little laggy at times. The graphics are a big oof for me. Maybe you should have opted for a 2D game as I would imagine you wouldn't have much time to design graphics for a 3D game.
This was a great a game. My only real complaint is that I think the "Falling Star" section lasted a bit too long for what little gameplay variance it had.
I was wandering around for a long while and I thought the game was broken, but I finally found a dungeon and started to raid it. It is an interesting concept, but I think it could do with some better tutorials. Pretty cool overall.
This was definitely an interesting game. I think here was a bit too much empty space though.
Very nice game. Loved the story.
This was definitely an interesting game and was fun. I think you messed up on the aspect ratio though as a lot of the text was going off screen, I was still able to understand it though. The jumping mechanic could also be a little better. Sometimes felt like I didn't have much control over it.
This was a very interesting interpretation of the theme. The gameplay was fun and the graphics are great, and yeah the input cooldown is something that felt unnecessary.
I actually don't really know what I'm supposed to be doing, I'm trying out the commands and following the steps but constantly typing in each command gets very tedious over time. Perhaps opt for a button system instead? I don't know if it changes later in the game as I haven't gotten very far. I think the instructions needs to be a bit more explicity
This was fun, the level generation is nice. But the music really does get annoying after a while haha.
@brandon-js-lea Hehe yeah, I ran out of time by the time I realized that the enemies could spawn on top of you.
@lizelive I'll fix that tomorrow
@askingquestions Glad you enjoyed it!
@brandon-js-lea I read the rules and I think they allow for bug fixes, but only if it's detrimental to gameplay They just don't want us adding anymore features or content after release
Alright, I read the rules of the Ludum Dare again and yeah I am allowed to make bug fixes, so I pushed a few-
-Fixed Status' stacking over each other.
-Fixed Explosive Shot lagging and exploding way too many times.
-Fixed Double Shot lagging.
-I believed I fixed the lag spikes entirely from my testing, but I don't know how you guys' computer will fare.
-Fixed freeze status causing enemies to move backwards.
-Removed debug buttons that let you get upgrades whenever you want.
Thanks for the feedback everyone!
@ithildin Yeah the game is based on a wave system. I did't put in a wave counter though, it was one of things that I had forgot to do before launching the game lol. As a result the upgrades seem to be appear randomly, but they actually appear every 2 waves. Waves get longer as the game gets more difficult so.
--Final Bug Fix-- Fixed Crash when health upgrade is chosen.
This game was great and very funny lol. Good level design.
Very nice game, love the concept of adding on to your own body to adapt to new situations. Great Job!
This was actually really nice. Great job.
Fun but really hard lol
