Interesting story and nice voice acting. Good job!
Strongly suggest, possible for the next time - use numericals for choices. While I'm giving you points for mood, I'm not sure if it qualifies as a game in my eyes. It's just a nihilistic shortstory with ability to look for more details on way - IF / Visual Novel equivalent of walking simulator
This game fits all of my interests, I love these kinds of f games and this one did not disappoint, good job, 10/10
I like the artstyle!
Nice art, atmospheric.
You could have used WASD for the options, most of the time it's a direction you're heading anyway (W for forward, S for back and so on). Also QE if you need more than 4 alternatives.
Like the artstyle, mood and audio Nice job
Wow that was dark '_' But pretty cool. I hope it's not too much autobiographical (if it is, you should try to get help, you don't look to be in a good spot! Sorry if it is totally unrequested, I'm just a bit worried!). Very good atmosphere, we can sense the despair. Well done!
Good voiceacting, nice graphics and some lines that made me think about stuff for a bit, well done!
I liked the art, the music and the voice acting was a rare touch very seldom seen in LD games!
Cool game, with some nice art. But as others have said, it would have been nice to have slightly different keys for the options.
It was really surprising to hear voiceacting, especially pretty good ones at that. The artstyle and mood were really well put together, it draws you in to the strange, unsettling world you've created.
The writing was really good too, keeping you wondering just what is going on.
I'm not going to recommend any improvements as I see this as an art piece as much as a game. Good job!
Love the atmosphere, the design, the audio, awesome
Loooved the art and the music. There was so much passion in the writing and the voice-overs too. Really impressive and moody!
Great art style and story. Might be neat to add some puzzles or consequences for the actions.
Thank you for the great effort on the voice acting of several NPCs. All the game is surrounded in the mood of unspeakable chaos and nihilism。Just like @blaster391 said I'm also not going to recommend improvements on art or game style. But I would suggest trying more ways to show the idea of the story, for example, varying the structure of story (instead of just visiting a new place and meeting new people).
I've come back to this game more than once to hear the music and see the art. The latter is striking, I wish I could see more. Nice work compadre. Keep at it.
Wow! Voice acting!! Enjoyed the unintentional humor of stepping out right in the middle of everyones' evil monologues, and casually stepping over dying people to keep looking around. Enjoyed the unsettling art, the interesting symbolism and the metaphors speaking to you. But oh gosh voice acting in a compo jam game though!
Very nice art, music and voiceacting! Together it creates a cool atmosphere.
Man that was trippy, kind off like an abstract painting coming to life! Pretty good job. Would prefer the interaction options bound to 1, 2, 3 instead of A, B,C, easier to find on the keyboard.
Sick art
Are you ok?
@gerugames, @gildar76, @p-r, @trusty, @uchiro, Thank you all for such warm replies! Honestly, I wasn't expecting such positive replies because as some of the commentators mentioned here, I agree that this game is "eh, experimental". I'm glad that you liked it.
@shigor, @wevel, @snesgaard, thank you for your replies. I was surprised that practically the only criticism by now mentions only different set of controls. I didn't thought to much of this aspect, be sure I will take it into consideration next time.
@porocyonak, @lakrits, @marcel-oyuela-bonzani, thank you for your replies. Again, kinda surprise of this praise of the art. As even the story goes I never positioned myself as a strong artist but it seems that my level of mastery can at least translate some ideas. You definitely inspired me to create more art-works.
@nachtwitch, thanks, great that you found everything you need)
@hare-software, @local-minimum, @blaster391, @jam373, @cirno, @xephrys, thank you for your replies! Even more surprising than art and overall game feel was to hear that you liked voice-acting. It wasn't easy to record all of this and make it sound some what legit in this short amount of time. Luckily, I could free some time by simplifying overall "gameplay". I also wanted to voice main hero in Sanitarium-like style but it came out too cringy even for me and my accent showed too much.
@gamebuilder, thank you, I'm glad that you found in it something to go back for.
@grhyll, @ogre, thanks for you concern but it's not so tragic. This game is mostly autobiographic but amplified compilation of the not so optimistic ideas and concepts I was thinking about lately. But I hope that it's not "need help" material. I would even say that making games likes this helps to relieve some of the tension and cope with some of my problems. And even more, I really liked that some of you found something fascinating in this game.
