graphics were good, the music made the gameplay quite intense. simple and realy fun game. gg :dog:
haha that was one crazy Ambulance driver, my hero. driving 1'000'000 miles an hour, "just f-ing move out of the way, you f-ing morons". hahaha super fun game :dog: :dog:
good game. the magnet was a nice adition. i dont know if the rooms are randomly generated, but i liked the room resigns (combat wise). 2 rooms before the last room were my favorite. gj :dog:
cool :dog:
wow that was suuuuuper creepy.
realy good game. :dog:
wow good music. hmmm i made around 25 building, but i didnt realy understand what i did :dog:, when i felt that i had enough population i made some shops and jobs, but im not sure what the graphs in the lower right is telling me. but the game looks promising. :dog: :dog:
nice little game. the dispensors couldnt handle all the gold so it just threw it out again. dont know if it got eaten or not :dog:
ooooo, those robots look like the first film bots in ratchet and clank <3 :dog: the nostalgia
good art, only managed to get to lvl 18 on my first attempt. started to learn it abit more on my second attempt but ragequit early on :dog: there isnt so many games that fit the theme, and i think this will score realy good on theme.
nice tower defence, i have playd lots of tower defence and with abit more work this one will be just as good. some clear indication on the range of the turrets would be awesome :dog:
good game, getting so powerfull upgrades made them worth getting and then being able to go further :dog: :dog:. nice to see clear indications on next lvl zones.
nice game, feels pretty polished tbh. gg :dog: :dog:
where was the audio T_T :dog: :dog:
The Theme Was Realy difficult. but looks like you guys managed to pull through. :dog: :dog:
interesting gameplay. definetly something you can go forward with. realy nice! :dog: i have to say, after i first played this, my mind cant realy stop thinking about it, 7 hours later. there was just something realy interesting about the gameplay. and i do like my puzzles :dog:
wow realy good graphics.
realy good game. i had some problems on the boss with two spinning adds, untill i realised i could just kill the big guy to go to the next lvl.
final boss was good, might have been to kind to give health throughout the fight, didnt die on that boss cuz of that :dog: :dog: . other then that gj
@manuel-rauber hello thanks for the feedback. the idea was that you had to puchase the items displayed.
but i didnt have the time to properly make the system so when a new item was put out, half of the cost was automaticaly removed from score, so you dont realy notice it.
@rhoka yes tyvm. i overscoped abit sadly, soooooooo i didnt have the time to make a tutorial. the balance is off, and its realy difficulty to lose. if you accept the offer that is under half the price you lose abit of blood point. if not you will gain some.
@tiagorrech tyvm, ill make a note to make the accept and deny buttons clearer. this is a "problem" that other ppl also mentioned so ill make that a top priority.
@arcus yes tyvm for the feedback, i will try to do that the next ludum dare. atm there isnt much endgame, but ill definetly try to make that happen next time around.
tyvm for the feedback everyone, realy appreciate it. from the feedback i see some mistakes i made and i'll definetly do it diffrently and better next time. tyty :dog: :dog:
@link oof, that one hurt xD. well i overscoped, and in my mind the gameplay is actualy only around 10% of what it should have been, but ty for the feedback. :dog: as well as overscoping i focused abit to much on the art, so myeah.....
it got potential, adding some more to it could make this game similar to papers please (so i mean adding some challenges where you need to fugure out if they try to scamm you, lying about hours worked or thir job and so on). im still not sure what the ! button did.
i like puzzles, so they are abit difficult to score for me, cuz bias :dog:. but some improvements on the visuals (maybe show where there box will land when sliced) and more lvls, then you got yourself a nice little game. it was a good idea to use yourself as a currency to walk in the direction you wanted.
player 1: me.
player 2: uhm me....
crying myself to sleep every night oWo :dog: :dog: simple nice game btw :D
i find this game super addicting. i like puzzles and this is one i would definetly download for my phone when i go out traveling. gj :dog: :dog:
hmmmm i think i got some problems with my browser cuz the game lagged abit for me, so i cant realy give a accurate review cuz of that. i also couldnt move the character for some reason, dont know if that was intended or not.
but, nice to get some story for once :dog: normaly ppl ignore that (me included) and just focus on gameplay. so gg on trying something abit different.
wow, realy spooky. realy nice mood that this game have. i didnt get so far, but killed two of the creatures then when i got to the 3rd i managed to lose my will/spark..... :-/
some kind of hints would be realy nice (for ludumdare atlease), if not for the hints from the comment section, i would never have gone past the 1st level. buuuut it may have been your intention that the player is going to solve the puzzle by themselves and explore. great game if that was the case :dog: .
wow, a realy atmospheric game. loved it.
holy hell, never imagined that would happen when i got the blue eyes xD. and oof, got scared every time i died :D. i got some "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" vibes from this game :D? gj realy nice game. :dog: :dog: so i would actualy have liked that at the very beginning, everything is black, then you move and start sensing the enviourment (going from only darkness, to what we have in the beginning), then you get eyes and can see colors. would make the going from nothing/nothingness abit clearer. but gj, realy nice game.
huh. that was a nice little game. gj :dog: :dog:
i realy like that idea. havent realy seen anything like this, nice twist on the theme. :dog:
nice nice. realy great management game that fit the theme quite well.
realy nice game, feels realy polished alrdy. the only thing i would like to be added was a way to escape from the police, so that its possible to prepare a escape route incase anything goes wrong. think of it like someone steeling a purse then running into a alleyway trying to shake off the police, if being discovered ofcourse.
nice game. 48 hours does set some limitations to what is possible to make, and i can see some promise here if expanded upon ofcourse, realy nice art. when i played it first time, the game lagged like a uhm yea (using chrome), when i did it the second time then the lagg was almost entirely gone.
i would like to see some uses for the stuff you make. like a fast growing formula, that you can give to a plant to extract a special pollen or something. :dog: :dog:
realy nice graphics and sound. a funny cute game
nice game, shooting blobs is always satisfying. but other then that as the title says, something is missing to make this game realy addicting :dog:
huh. was abit uhm uhm, in the start cuz i clicked on almost everything and nothing happened. but when i started understand stuff it were actualy a realy nice game. :dog: :dog:
realy nice ui. gj :dog:
fun little game. dont realy have anything else to comment other then gj :D
wow, a realy realy nice game. puzzles are fun when they are doable. i realy like the simplistic art style. if i could add something i would like it to be longer :D :dog: :dog:
wow. this had realy good gameplay. i like parry mechanics. this got some realy good potential. :dog: :dog:
realy nice game. i would say this got some potential. gj :dog: :dog: i like the design on the player character. the only thing i would see more of is when a nightmare is born. a nightmare should be dangerious in my mind, so solving a bad dream it would be a fun addition,
i cant move with wasd anymore, can only turn with mouse. but look at all these beutiful sheeps. its lagging abit now, im not sure how many there are now, might be 200-400 of them now T_T. you sure they are not rabbits?
hmmm.png
@rustycrow @kazatan @maxdmg tyvm for the feedback.
ye the fishing part of the game, needs abit more love. cuz its kind of the main mechanic/feature of the game in stage 1 of the island builder. so ill keep the feedback in mind when i come back to this project. tyvm. :clap: :frog: :clap: :dog:
@kirbloid @franciszek-pyrc @shabbyrtist tyvm for the feedback.
ye, the fishing part needs some improvements. it was literaly made in the last hour. ty for the feedback thought, ill have to do something to make it less of a torture, like other ppl mentioned xD. tyty.
@nachtwitch @whysudo tyvm for your feedback.
and ye the only goal for this little game, was to fully create your entire island. towards the end i wanted to add some dialogue telling the player what to do, but other elements of the game were needed quite badly, so i had to just forget making it. and just add it later, when i start to work on this again. tyty.
@gerugames tyvm for the feedback.
yes, i noticed that when i tested it myself right before i had to stop. time just flew by at the end so didnt have time to fix it. but tyty.
tyvm for the feedback.
@pincushion ye true. its currently missing something major that enhances the plyers experience, so back to the drawingboard. :mag: :mag:
@jimbly tyvm for telling me about that link. i havent used git that much so wasnt aware that i could link to it directly. and yes that fishing lure have a special spell that tricks the mind into thinking it hit the floating stuff.
@kuro tyvm for the pointers. and the way i made this was not realy thought about that well and the code got realy realy messy towards the end, im currently working on cleaning it up abit and find some easier ways of making the island. but tyty. :dog: :dog:
@corrade ahh nice idea, ill write that down right away :D :dog: :dog: tyty.
@hcursino tyty, well the tedious part need some work. i dont want it to feel tedious but at the same time needed to take a step back and fish for resources. maybe only fish for mainly food, and wood and leafs less and less as they get stuck on your island as it get bigger. but im not sure yet on how i will tackle this problem.
tyvm for all the constructive feedback. i learned some new stuff and got some new ideas so tyvm everyone that have commented.
@danilo-freire uhm, ill look into it. im not quite sure how to do that yet. but ill definitely do that for the next ludum dare.
@tort60091 @dominas @drtizzle @chuchugeralt tyvm for the feedback :D
@dominas overscoping is sadly a problem im working on, I WANT IT ALL MUAHAHAHA... so when i look around on other games from ludumdare i see how simple i can make games which are just as good as games that have abit more meat on them.
and ye, the fishing is a problem that alot have mentioned, and ty for the ideas for improving it.
@stefanie-leitch tyvm for the feedback
@pkenney hehe gj. next is triple combo :O (not sure if its possible). but ye... im not quite sure why i used arrows instead of wasd. when i play other games that use arrows i just yell to myself whhhyyyyyy. and i just did it in my own game...... oh well.....
oof. when the enemies got strong bullets, they just ate away my health(slime) in big chunks. gj :dog: :dog:
nice game. didnt complete it, but it did feel like i understood how the game worked. gj. :dog:
uhm at some point i had 4 stone blocks, but i could not place them in the world. i selected them nothing got placed. i had to go and collect more resources and then make more stone blocks to be able to place them again. just wanted to let you know. i liked the game, only the combat that needed some more work/fine-tuning. other than that gj. :dog: :dog:
nice game, those dragons took some atempts to tame. going in a circle around them closing in on them bit by bit worked like a charm. Love the controls. gj :dog: :dog:
nice game, gj.
nice game, nothing to say realy. if you add more variety of some kind, this will be a great game. like a harder rock that needs a focused beam to break, so maybe a crystal that absorbs 2 beams and shoots a purer beam or a focused beam. idk just something. but its realy good for being made in 48 hours. gj :dog: :dog:
solid entry. funny tutorial. gameplay was ok. but dude, you did sooooooo much in those 48 hours, im almost ashamed that i didnt manage to do more -_- . gg :dog: :dog:
realy well made game. gj. cant realy say anything else. it feels quite polished and complete. only that the corner fort meta should be banished from this earth. :dog: :dog:
wow. realy nice graphics. gj :dog:
wow. this bring me back to my days back in school when i played flash games all day long. :-/ i feel like this game got some real potential, to be an everlasting endless upgrade defence shooter. so enemies become stronger so you need to upgrade your satelites, or turrets or whatever. then this could become a nice mobile game. but still its a realy nice game, even thought its only 1 set of turrets and enemies. gjgj
Nice entry. some realy creative enemies that you made :D gj
damn, got to lvl 3 several times but only manged to do the double bird jump once i was soooo close to complete it i think...... omg that jump is to cruel T_T i would have continued and complete it but i upgraded the player upgrade that costs 0 coins, and the game crashed sadly, so no way that im doing all that again. ill give you 5 star for the theme for this. realy realy gj. :dog: :dog: :dog: :dog: :dog: :dog: :dog: :dog: :dog: :dog:
wow, great work. this is a realy nice game, well polished also. uhm the only thing i found was that the small triangles could spawn right under me. at that point when it happened i had been standing still for abit. gj btw :dog: :dog:
interesting. managed to get to 600k humans, then i suddenly died? dunno why, faith was lvl 2. happiness was above 200. oh well... having a small animation running at the bottom of the screen, showing the building of a shrine, or going to war. would make this realy funny, if the small animations are made funny ofc... gj :dog: :dog: (something "easy" like, running from left to right. a bunch of vikings or something)
wow realy nice graphics, and the shooting feels realy good, realy responsive movement and shooting. gj :dog: :dog:
huh (i like playing first then reading helpfull info after if there were something i didnt understand so srry in advance). i didnt realy understand what i were supposed to do at the beginning, so the middle camp got 0 resources left and the enemy stopped sending out ppl so i could just play through with nothing to worry about, the next time, then that was a real fight, i understood that i could send out ppl to steal resources and i could spam spawn horses. it was actualy was kinda fun. i would love some clear indication that you can click on the bases to send out ppl to steal resources. gj :dog: :dog: when i understood the mechanics this turned into a realy great game
nice game. starting to fall behind at 150, and completely dead at 185. realy fun game, fits the theme aswell.
why put a circle on individual things when you can put one circle on the entire screen xD.
nice. first puzzle-ish game ive played this ludum dare. the game pointed me in the direction i needed to go, so never got lost. all around, quite enjoyable game.
i know time is limited during ludum dare, but i kinda missed some explore for clues kinda moments. it was go there, do that. i personaly like exploration, so adding moments where you are lost and you need to go around and look for where to go next wouldnt necessarily be a bad thing, in my opinion.
nice, first game that ive tested that have actualy made a "mechanic" out of stuck in a loop. @tpsy i kinda thought the game was just slowed down so that we could click on stuff in the invenstory?
hihi. realy fun take on the theme. is the speed abit low on the player?, i couldnt survive unless i constantly jumped?
hmmmm, first game that ive tested this far to have a intro scene :D. dont realy have to much to say, gg. intro scene was nice tho xD
Me: mission accomplished, over.... General: what mission?, over.... Me: the entire floor is covered in spikes, over....
that was a cool little game. fit the theme quite well
nice game. i was luckily enough to cut the corret wire on my first playthrough. may rngesus be with you all :D i didnt pay that much attention to the conversations, so if the clue was there gg.
interesting take on the theme :D, its interesting how the mind sometimes "trick" us into doing stuff.
realy cool game. the gameplay didnt realy show the theme that well, but i can see some the game showing it through the wording, of "Not enough" and the "puppet master". you are being trapped in constant trials of the puppet master, and him never being pleased by your "work", he keeps giving you more trials. stuck in a loop of trying to keep the master pleased or to finaly be free of his string. i might be wrong but that was atleast what i got from it while not looking that deep into it. so the theme do fit realy well in that regard, but its not that clear if all you do is look at the gameplay. ill give you a bonus star on theme if i could.
nice, this game looks realy well made. im not that fan of memorizing games, but gg. for those that like these kind of games should enjoy this aswell.
realy fun, and feels quite polished. i felt abit lost when i were in the 4th circle. any thoughts of adding a "minimap" showing the circle/ring you are in?
hmmm, nice game. came to the level with two boxes that was high up in the air. after the chimney part or whatever its called. i managed to kick the box into the spawn point of the chicken and the box never respawned.
lol, on the first level i didnt know how the game worked so i just ran around shooting the boss, then i noticed the small me spawning and copying my movement and such. was a disaster but managed to beat the first level even after all those mistakes. second level i just stood still and walked back abit every now and then and my clones kill the boss for me :D same on the last level xD. two games in a row that have player input copied. realy fun concept tho
i tried so many times, with low and high weight, but never managed to get to the end, even if i sprinted for the end, mostly died cuz zombiefied. one time i saw the screen becoming realy dark and a biiig bright white orb was infornt of me, but i died before i could get to it. nice game.
@griddolini hmmmm, ill give it another try, when i tested it didnt feel like higher level parts did anything to lower the rate i zombiefied, but i could be mixing up my tries. tried alot of different things to try and get to the end. hmmmm ok i made it now, im not sure if i did anything different tho, i got all lvl one parts, light body part. the posion ticked at 0.63% each tick, other times it have like a 0.8 or 1% each tick, i also started with 10 speed this time. so im not sure if that is just luck, or just me picking the correct part from the dead robots
im getting some icy tower vibes xD. nice game.
aiaiai, 254 turns later T_T. its realy "simple" but it does fit the theme.
nice puzzle. i see some clockwork inspiration xD. 3rd level was actualy pretty challenging. gj on managing to make that and have it work in the 48 hours.
the movement change when player changes room were realy disoritening. i know ppl have mentioned it but playing the game for 10 min and that truly was disorienting.
@coderaurus ty for your feedback.
yes, i didnt have time to finetune the movement, if i were to improve this game, the player movement is definetly something i need to take a look at. i put in the pillar at the beginning cuz i wanted the player to learn how to jump, but i literaly added it the last second, and i made i abit to big.
and ye, the death fading is way, way, way, way to long xDDD
tyvm for the feedback.
@elizir tyty, yea, currently the flaw of my game is that slippery ground. i wanted it because of the slide animation that i made, and later on when i started testing/playing that just started to more and more annoying. so i need to look into that.
@indiequest heh, yea that first jump is quite a challenge xD, yea i made so much the last 3 hours, that the death animation was not something i could test and feel T_T.
@voidsay hmmm, there are no scripts missing from the git folder. if something is missing alot should be cuz i literaly made so so so much the last day. i checked git, and the final commit is on git. soooo i guess you just gotta look around in the folders.
@khaotom yea, its rough, but its possible.
@voidsay yes, i do. updated stuff right before ludum dare :-/
@kirbloid
tyty for your feedback. oh never realy thought of it that way xD. but yea i had a thought of adding a jump meter of some kind, but never got to it.
ty for your feedback.
@ukulelefury when i made the running animation i didnt realy know what i wanted with the game, so i just made the animation. when i started changing values and stuff i decided to give him a realy quick animation to try and give it a feeling of going fast, but still slow. :-/ abit weird but that was what i went for xD.
@endurion yes, i think i forgot to add some code that made jump be calculated each frame, and not a normalized frame count. i think thats the problem. so atm, the better computer you have the higher you jump.
ty for the feedback. @toccio94 @griddolini
now that i have time to tune stuff and realy code with good structure. im basicaly remaking the movement and makeing it abit more precision friendly, players supposedly dont like slippery ground xD. the controlers will be as smooth as a bald mans butt.
@echo-gameworks ty for the feedback.
yea, the theme wasnt realy to my liking. i was tempted to just not do it and work on another idea i got when going through the other themes. but i decided to just do it as i had alrdy set off time for it, so it was meh, why not. but on the positive side i think i managed to get a realy interesting idea out if it now that i iterated on the game, and seeing what ppl found "interesting", and realy hated.
ty for the feedback.
@szatku yea, i didnt realy knew what i wanted when i started with the game, and early on i made the slide animation. it wasnt before the end that i decided to make some jump "puzzles", and by the time i got to test and look at what needed a change time was up. T_T. but the slippery slide effect is totaly gone in my 2.0 version that im working on xD.
@pee-thief tyty xD
@crazyrems yea.... i forgot some lines of code and the result was that its based on framerate how high you jump..... so yea -_- srry about those 7min of torture T_T
ty for the feedback
@samelgamedev yea srry, forgot to add a time.deltatime to normalize my jump height T_T srry about that
@krg yep, its in a realy rough state. im currently looking at the game and iterating on its problems, and continuing with what i like, and im fixing all the problems you mentioned in my second iteration, tyvm for making it a more directed feedback.
@fronwewq tyty. yea the game have some problems, they were easily solved, but i dont realy care that much about score for ludum dare, i just want feedback to what to improve and then expand on that later on if i decide that its worth it.
@gonzalol tyty. the controles and movement is tricky indeed.
omg.... i got so motion sick i actualy threw up right after i finished pi's failure map. i didnt read what the controlers were so i played withour rotating untill the 4th map i think, the on where you have to rotate. i have never gotten motion sick from playing a game, ill give you an extra star on every point. fuk... my tummy hurt so bad T_T
realy lovely game. this kind of puzzle is my kind of game. i played through the entire game i think, i ended up with some dots dissapairing with only 3 left and one triangle dot as in the beginning, so i guess it reset?
realy cool consept.
nice nice. nice music/sound. i actualy found the turnbased movement, and timed attacks, to be quite interesting. i came to lvl 9, and couldnt handle the back and forth to get the medal T_T. i guess there is no end? and that its generated and just more and more chests/keys? giving full health on level completed is way to kind xD
realy cool game. watched the youtube video first, and it was realy interesting to see you when you describe your thought process during ludum dare. it gave the game a stronger relation to the theme. realy gj.
i cant believe i actualy got scared by the guy at the "exit" ..... im such a pussy -_-
huh, nice. the game actualy have different "endings" based on clues you find?. using the theme in that way was quite funny actualy. something weird happened on my first playthrough, all buttons were squished together realy realy close, so i could only see the text of the last button. i tried to play the game again and the buttons were fine. so not realy sure how that happened. tested with microsoft edge and chrome with two different screen resolutions and buttons were fine. just a once in a hundred bug i guess.
.... im speechless.
used the link @sop-the-turtle linked to.
the game actualy is quite fun, but it took abit time to fully understand how the buttons affected the different roads and stuff, understood it alot better on level 2. for some reason level two was alot easier xD
woaaa, that was a realy good game. spooked me abit when i first heard the clap sound xD. it was realy difficult to light all the things.
nice game. fit the theme quite well. its on the easy side, but doesnt matter. it does have potential if you decide to develop this further.
wuuuuuut... where is the graphics rating, audio?. you would have scored quite good on those. even mood. personaly, even tho i only have 1 sound effect in my game, i would still want ppl to rate my sound xD, even if i didnt add anything with humor or mood, the ppl playing could see/feel something i totaly missed. score doesnt realy matter.
but, its a nice complete game. just a jump "bug" or a feature, depends if it is intended or not. nothing to say on the graphics or sound or movement, all were nice.
nice game. nothing much to add realy, gg.
haha nice ending, let them money fly. the music actualy fit disturbingly. well
tbh, the game actualy looks quite good. even tho its simple, it got something to it, which fit quite well together.
hmmmmm. the game kinda seems almost complete. a solid entry. if you rushed the tiny hourglass items, you could finish in 1 reset :D
i realy like puzzles like these. the stuck in a loop was realy strong in the beginning as you expanded upon the first map the more trophies you got.
that was... uhm iteresting. stuck in a loop, generation after generation. i didnt realy understand where i should click to make stuff happen, i clicked on every and it didnt feel like anything did anything except mouse click? click on edge of the wheel to run faster and click on the guy to go slower. i didnt find anything more then that. interesting game tho.
uhm hiho. i couldnt open the game. i got a error message, then when i clicked ok the .exe file deleted itself from the folder.
realy nice game. some level were definetly more challenging then others, but a realy interesting game. didnt get any bugs on the web version.
same as what sop-the-turtle said. when i first entered the game, omg no, not another candy crush kinda game. but you supriced me with a new twist to the three in a row game meta.
o.m.g..... that fragment number 2 was nowhere to be found. got duplicate after duplicate, probably looted close to 20 fragments or something before i finaly got fragment 2. nice catchup mechanic that you can kinda get ahead of the fire, and you use the extra time you saved to grab resources and fragments.
realy nice game, with some more time put into it this will become realy good. pixel art was good. interesting take on the theme. personaly the memory dive was abit simple, but considering the time used realy nice.
