I remember playing something like this years ago on some Flash game site. Good memories. Nice Music and Art. It was fun to try around and it took long enough to get to the "max" ending to make it interesting.

phillserrazina 2019-10-06 20:13

@gargoyle-g those were my inspiration for this! It was extremely fun to make! Thank you for the kind feedback, glad you could reach the ending! :)

iozsaygi 2019-10-06 20:33

The concept is cool and i really like the background music!

windmere 2019-10-06 20:35

Really cool idea. I like the idea of choosing which order to build things and felt rewarded for thinking through my actions before committing to a plan. Would love to see more failure states. Like If just threw intelligent life onto a volcanic planet... I mean... something non-violent... Great game! Love the sound of the bubbly pops on the menu and in game.

fictions 2019-10-06 20:37

That was amazing :3~ Thanks for making this! It felt so unique...

phillserrazina 2019-10-06 21:41

@iozsaygi that actually means a lot! I am very scared of showing off my music

@windmere thank you for the feedback! And I totally agree, I would've LOVED to add more stuff, but my sanity was already at -10%... who knows, maybe in the future... ;) thanks for playing!!

@fictions aww that's so nice! Thank you so much! It means a lot! :)

phil-c 2019-10-07 05:35

Absolutely enjoyed it! Loved the pretty art, was simple and enjoyable to play. Took me about 4 tries to get the max everything. Loved the very serene yet simple music, and just the whole calm atmosphere of the game. Great work!

Would like to see it expanded apon!

symphonia 2019-10-07 15:23

Great game. You did what I wanted to do but thought was way to immense of a task for a few days, so great job!

phillserrazina 2019-10-07 15:24

@phil-c glad you were able to get the max ending! I'm happy to read that because I was really looking for that relaxing vibe! Idk if I'll keep working on yet, but thank you for the feedback! :)

snufkinshat 2019-10-07 15:25

Lovely and engaging world-building game with a chill vibe and soundtrack. Great job!

piturnah 2019-10-07 15:29

Really loved the way you interpreted the theme, it's the cleverest interpretation I've seen yet!

The art is really nice, and the music is also fitting

I appreciate there's a limited scope with game jam games, but a cool way to expand would be to have more interesting things happen when you play in the wrong order

phillserrazina 2019-10-07 15:29

@symphonia thank you! I considered dropping halfway through, but then just reduced the scope a little bit, didn't get to do half of the stuff I wanted to do, unfortunatelly!

@snufkinshat thank you for playing, feedback means a lot! :)

clemonades 2019-10-07 15:40

Great entry. Very relaxing and fun to play, I kept replaying to get all the different possible planets. Nice job!

pincushion 2019-10-07 16:00

Nice quick game. "grab a cuppa and enjoy this relaxing experience" is spot on. Great music and art. I appreciate all the potential side-effects and endings.. really nice.

ebbdrop 2019-10-07 16:03

Cool game. Loved finding all the possibilities.

phillserrazina 2019-10-07 16:09

@piturnah thank you! I was really trying to push the theme ahah, yeah, I would've loved to have more options but I'm pretty happy with the ones I got in. Glad you enjoyed it! :)

@clemonades Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the feedback!

@pincushion glad I could pass on the feeling! Thank you for the feedback!

@ebbdrop thank you!! Happy you liked it!

100th-coin 2019-10-07 16:36

Yo, very cool game! I love the diversity between making the correct choices to begin with, and your planet going horribly wrong. Nice work!

slovnoslomo 2019-10-07 16:53

i liked the gags i found. the all-max ending is tough and surprising. i didn't expect that level of reflection from the game about terraforming :)

the only issue and advice i can give is about text animations — i think it's a bit too long and fade-in trough black to white is too heavy for eyes.

kirbloid 2019-10-07 17:02

Best use of the theme, and the open ended structure of it made me want to play it again a couple more time. I enjoyed my waterworld the first time.

rensei 2019-10-07 21:59

Woah! I really liked the audio. And I was curious of the combinations and what next thing will bring to the world. Nicely written monologue. Great submission overall ^^

merkisoft 2019-10-07 22:34

nice idea to create different kind of planets based on "nothing"

danielclarc 2019-10-08 01:43

Nothing made me click faster than "... inspired by the Grow games made by EYEZMAZE!"

I set an expectation and went to play, and I played it and played it and it got me surprised a bunch of times xD. Amazing game! A gem!

phillserrazina 2019-10-08 13:40

@blobo thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :)

@slovnoslomo ahaha yeah, thought I'd throw some food for thought in there just because :) will definitely take that advice into account for the next time I do something like this, thank you!

@kirbloid glad to know you enjoyed it! Everyone loves an all water world!

@rensei thank you, thank you! Glad you liked it :)

@merkisoft ahaha thanks! Took me a bit to think of it

@danielclarc ahaha right?? I miss those games! Thank you for the kind words, means a lot!

moechen 2019-10-08 13:55

I like your game!!! That's funny!! When I saw the word " they die", that is absolutely the most funny time to me. Like the words!!

zhorky 2019-10-08 14:00

I basically feel like god now. Music repeats a bit too much for my taste. Really nice dynamic world builder.

jutjuan 2019-10-08 14:07

I really enjoyed playing this game! I don't know if it is inspired on Tiny Planet, by TheBlackThornsProd, but it kinda reminds of that one. Nice interpretation of the theme and a really cool moral in the end.

superunknown 2019-10-08 14:08

Enjoyed it!

reasonable-games 2019-10-08 14:49

superlee 2019-10-09 02:17

Great idea and graphics.

frank-gevaerts 2019-10-09 21:20

An enjoyable bit of storytelling disguised as a puzzle. I enjoyed it!

phillserrazina 2019-10-11 19:55

@moechen Thank you!! Glad you liked it! :)

@zhorky will keep the music tip in mind for next time! Thanks for playing!

@jutjuan it's actually inspired by the GROW games by EYEZMAZE, highly recommend playing those! Thank you for playing!

@superunknown thank you! Glad to read that!

@reasonable-games glad to know I reached my objective! Thank you for playing!

@benji-kershenbaum thank you, thank you!

@lombax ahaha yeah, I've seen a ton of people with the same reaction, I find it quite funny actually! Thank you for playing :)

@superlee thank you!

@frank-gevaerts glad to ready that! Thank you for playing!!

xephrys 2019-10-13 11:27

Ahhh to find someone else who enjoys EYEZMAZE! really clever use of the theme and obviously super fun to try out different scenarios and enjoy FLAVOUR TEXT, great job!

suchista 2019-10-15 19:44

Ah yes, I love the good old GROW games and your game did very well in replicating their mood, especially for such a short time. It was a lot of fun, maybe a little too easy tu deduce the correct path, but on the other hand it's intuitive. And I like that the words start from NOTHING! Well done :)

itsdanidre 2019-10-17 20:41

Self love is definitely the best type of love! (sarcasm in(not)tended)

Loved this game. Really nice combinations everywhere lol

phillserrazina 2019-10-28 09:49

@xephrys ahaha we are a small group of people, surprisingly! Thank you for playing, glad you enjoyed it! :)

@suchista thank you! I was really excited about making it but I was dreading that it wouldn't be nearly as satisfying! Glad you liked it! :)

@itsdanidre Eheh it's a secret between me and everyone who reached the MAX ending ;) Thank you for playing!
