I really like the cute little art style and the music is great. Exploring around the world was fun. The only other feedback I would give (especially with smaller pixel art) is to make the enemies a separate color than the grass and walls, I think it would make it less difficult and slightly more balanced. Overall, wonderful job! :)

Controls feel really great Vimster! I'm not gonna lie, I almost gave up (that difficulty ramp) but, I toughed through and conquered this game. Really dig the controls, animations, and the background rocks look fantastic!

I'm kinda stunned that you did this in 48hrs. Lots of polish and tiny extra details (like the mute being built into the game as a switch). The ladder was a nice touch too, makes it kind of different from most of the digging games. Amazing job!

Nice job! Using the recoil for more than one mechanic was great. I died a few times and never managed to make it to the end but, it kept me trying again.

Oh you did a great job on the atmosphere of the game, I think maybe some eerie music in the background would further enhance the immersion. I would be proud you got any world generation working, that's not easy to polish in a short time, nice job!

Really really dig the graphics! Very challenge, but looks great and I kept wanting to try another run. My only constructive criticism is that I didn't really like the mouse to punch (since there is no aiming). I know you can do arrow key + control, but the right ctrl doesn't work so you can't do wasd + controls. That's just being super nit picky though, I really enjoyed what you put together, great job!

WOw, this was fantastic. I think it's my favorite of the jam so far. You guys put so much polish into it. The fact that different enemies spawn each time kept me playing again and again. My favorite part was when I realized the enemy bullets don't hurt, they push. Brilliant, makes the game really unique. Congrats to everyone!

This was a lot of fun! It took just a bit to get use to the controls, but by my second attempt they felt crisp and responsive (game just has a learning curve). I'm very impressed with the level of polish, especially in a compo! Great job!

Man this is such a unique idea. It def took me a few runs to figure out that I need to balance how many enemies I spawn or I'll die. I really like the exit/enter safety stuff (and that camera pan/jump when he leaves safety looks amazing). It also took me a bit to figure out I had to hold the button to harvest blood. Overall you did an amazing job, congrats! :D
