cool game.. took some time to figure out, but really nice mechanics
Really nice take on the theme and cool game mechanic! But I wasn´t anywhere close to 100% accuracy :P Would be great to have some sort of penalization as now it is only optional for player to amend the mistakes done. Great job! Nice entry.
I can't believe how much of a story-driven puzzler you put together this fast. I seemed to hit some spots where it either didn't accept correct combinations or I wasn't able to figure out why they were wrong. Really cool idea overall.
Good job! I enjoyed the mechanics and the story kept me personally involved. The graphics and sound effects were great!
Nice environment/atmosphere/story. For some reason I wasn't able to drag the first time but (r/c) fixed it for me and I was able to play after. Really like the artwork, good job!
I really like this game - it has unique gameplay and it mixes well with the story. The graphical style and the writing do a good job setting a kind of eerie tone. I don't like the ticking sound when people speak. I replayed the game and think I did it perfectly but still got the message at the end saying I was imperfect. Maybe I missed something?
I especially like
!> that one guy that changes his mind and the chap that can't have purple.
Thank you for the feedback everyone! I really appreciate you going out of your way to point what failed too.
@reheated Thank you for not only playing the game but replaying it too! About that yes, an accuracy tracker that changed the last lines was planned for, but I ran out of time before I could debug it so I just scrapped it. !> the idea was for the menu on the logo to update after the game to show your exact accuracy too
I love the opening's story and music, which go together so nicely. The game is self-explanatory and well-designed, and I really enjoyed it. Great work!!
Really enjoyable game. I really appreciate how well the atmosphere and the gameplay work together, and it actually challenged me to loop until I nailed it. Great idea, great art and overall an excellent game!
great game, I'd have liked it to have more "tricky" customers, like the guy who didnt want purple or the guy who changed his mind
That was a great experience. the game felt well-rounded. I feel like outside of just making actual mistakes, there wasn't much of an opportunity for the looping, which I would have liked to be explored a little more. In any case, I really enjoyed how you were able to tie it all together into an actual story. You managed to build a world for your game in very little time. Great entry, congrats on your first jam! Come back for more!
Fun game to play. The loop function came in handy many times when I would accidently give the wrong guy the other guys order.
For your first game jam this was a well done game. The opening story was touching and really helped set the mood of the game. I like the use of the theme I thought the overall presentation was great! Congrats on finishing and submitting your game!
Simple + fun mechanic and the storytelling brought it all together and gave it a nice feel, well done! I particularly liked the interesting customers, took me a while to realise what was going on with one of them.
Oh, I love the ending!
The writing and the mood of this game is spot on. You've managed to pour so much spirit into only 48 hours. I truly learned to hate my customers by the end. :D Good job!
The game is really amazing, the story is quite good and the setup is nice! I like how you used the theme, a clever take on it! I wish there was a penalty system to make it more fun!
Congratulations on the entry and all the best!
This is a really likeable little game, I loved how you portrayed the theme. The mood and narration is just wonderful, and quite an accomplishment in such a short time! The gameplay is really creative too, and though it's a little hard at times it's definitely not too much. I just wish I'd been able to read the dialogue more, I couldn't really split my attention from what was happening at the conveyor belt. But as someone else already mentioned, more exploration into the world and the game mechanic (like the customer who changed his mind) would be really fun, because it makes for such dynamic and interesting gameplay. Good job on this! :)
I didn't quite understand what the loops powers were for. The idea of selecting ingredients to match a person ordering food is pretty common, but I did like your darker take on this. For some reason, the challenging orders felt like they were just hard because the UI was needlessly complicated. I think it could have been cool to see stuff like longer combos, much more varied colors, and less of the having to squeeze between the very tightly packed purple. The fact that I could mess up an order for lack of micro precision just didn't feel too much like fun to me. But I did like the art style. Thank you for the game.
