I feel your art. The art is strong like mine.

I really like the art! It's a little hard to follow what's happening with the game play though. Could probably be more intuitive. I think I probably died 6 times before noticing when my health was reaching zero, and my upgrades were resetting. I like the idea of RPG elements with an endless runner though.
@ukulelefury thank you very much for your coment. I had no time for balancing the game at all and it lacks a very important feature that is eneemies life and damage indicators. A little more time and i could have done those things.
A neat concept for an idle game, but there's not that much interactivity and the fact that if you die you lose all your stuff for real is super punishing. It seems like it takes too long to become powerful imo.
@zachary-barbanell It takes too long indeed. The game has zero balance. If i got more time i would implement some features and alterate some variables to make the game better to play but unfortunatelly i ran out of time for it. I myself got a little time of fun playing it but because i did know the enemies status and didn't die so much. I should had implemented a enemy status display as was intentioned from start.
I loved the concept! A fresh take on the theme. Well done!
@luc-creationallabs thanks
Love the art. Had a bit of trouble figuing out what to do but after that it was fun. As you've said above the game needs balancing. Since you can restart at any time the game can never really be that hard, as long as you don't get one shotted by a new enemy type, and so you mostly just end up points farming. Not sure how you can over come that but its something to think about.
Nice work!
I like the feeling of the game. It feels like you're constantly in doing of something, like busy in fights. The pixel art is very simple, but makes the mood. I only don't like the grinding part of the game.
Really enjoyed this game, the core loop w/ stats carrying over is a really cool idea. I wish health dropped a tiny bit slower sometimes but it was super fun anyway :D
Thanks for the feedbacks <3.
@brads-space I have ideas for making the game more enjoyable and even was thinking in maybe making an android version with more features later.
Nice game, good art style. It felt like the game sometimes restarted itself.
@nohac It's because it lacks feedback for death. It was one of the things i had no time to implement.
Edit: It's a balancing problem too because the enemies difference in stats are too big so you can easily die instantly when facing a new enemy.
@doomerismo Ah, ok. I had full HP, then the game restarted, I guess I just got insta killed.
@nohac when you find a new enemy is 99% sure you'll not be prepared and die.
Funny game, but you don't know when you die. Difficult to predict the damage.
Bold idea with RPG elements in a runner. But, it made me crave for more intuitive interface and maybe a little more interactive options.
This was very unique! I love the idea, but I dislike losing my stats upon dead. It would be much preferred if I just lost the unspent points, because when you're facing a new enemy, there's no way to tell if your amount of defense will protect you from being one-hit killed. Really cool concept, and great work!
@blobo coincidentally only losing the unspent points upon death was something i thought i should have implemented.
I really like the idea! With more time this could be a complete/unique idea. I just wish I was better at rpg's feelsbadman :( Great entry!
@clemonades I myself an not big deal in RPGs and i agree, with more time i see potential in my game, as somethiong i would like to play. I'm thinking of working more on it.
Very punishing and not that balanced but the concept is great and so are the graphics. I've played way more than I though I would
@listonos Me too playied for some time despite the unbalancing. But it get quickly impossible to play.
The concept is interesting. Overall it's a great game with some balance problems. I like the minimalistic approach. Had a lot of fun playing it.
What the others have noted is a general rule: exponential scaling is bad. After I understood what was going on, I built a powerhouse (twoshotting colored skellies with no damage taken)-or so I thought before I was OHKO'd by the fat green guy. If not mild scaling then a fast forward button was what I missed.
@alaah The idea was to be exponential to let the playter no other choice than using the loop options but of course it would require much more balance than i put.
I really loved the mechanics here! I played and played and played, but no matter how strong I got, the green guy 1-hit-killed me and I had to start all over
Fun entry!
This mechanic is so nice. but I need some information about new enemies.
and I love using TIC-80!
Nice game, but damn, the difficulty balance is out of wack, should have made the green dude much weaker.
I went from being a badass, killing skeletons in one shot to being one shot-ed by Shrek.
Other than that, it has a simple but appealing gameplay and art, good work!
Love the good old emulator style control. Simple yet interesting game, looks polished. Getting stronger in a loop to break it.
This was fun, took me a while to realize I was losing *everything* when I died, was wondering why sometimes I got my potions back and sometimes I lost my stats... once I did, I managed to slowly grind so I could one-shot the red skellies, and then the green guy one-shotted me... and that was the end of that, not going to go through that again :(. Some kind of checkpointing or just losing one of each stat or something when you died would have been much more forgiving and would have kept me playing all the way through, probably!
Fun game and a cool idea. Just hoped i'd not lose EVERYTHING everytime I die cause sometimes you just can't know the enemies damage and you end up dying too fast before you can loop again
