Very original. It seems a lot of work to mix coding and music this way. The gameplay is nice but could be smoother(like the player insta changing cell on click) and it could be more clear when exactly a ball is about to hit.

This is certainly impressive for a jam, principally the compo. The most creative use of render textures i ever saw. The visual and atmosphere are pretty unique too. It just lacked gameplay mechanics to increase the fun.

Well thinked game. nice pixel arto too. The larvae phase is pretty useless and the second phase can pratically fly like the moth. Just some design choices i would change but overall the game is very good.

Nice game for a first game jam. The visuals are simples but they work i guess. The idea is interesting although not so original(a group of friends of mine are doing something similar and they found a lot of games doing different versions of this but this may be inevitable in a jam this big). A feedback is to make explicit that the clones don't obey the gravity laws.

Looks like some conceptual piece. Mantained me entertained at least. The simple gameplay stile, raw as it is, fit very well tith the game too. I would make the text slower. Is hard to read. Also you used Love engine, me too used a lua based platform(Tic80).

Some improvements that can be made are adding more fun mechacnics like laser shooting and runtime generated level, if you're thinking in continuing this project.

Now this is the most inovative game i've seen so far. Very cleaver mechanic. The graphics are simple yet charming. What i would change would be the character speed and implement an UI with progress indicators and such.

@zachary-barbanell It takes too long indeed. The game has zero balance. If i got more time i would implement some features and alterate some variables to make the game better to play but unfortunatelly i ran out of time for it. I myself got a little time of fun playing it but because i did know the enemies status and didn't die so much. I should had implemented a enemy status display as was intentioned from start.

@nohac It's because it lacks feedback for death. It was one of the things i had no time to implement.

Edit: It's a balancing problem too because the enemies difference in stats are too big so you can easily die instantly when facing a new enemy.

Is a good game. The graphics work much better than it looks by the screenshots. I have to say that i saw this almost same idea of using clones a lot of times(friends of mine are doing something related). What i would change is leting the movement way more controlable and doing space be the jump button because jumping in the same directionals you move hurts my hand. I would also put some points system based in how many copys you made.
