Great sound! There might be a minor issue with the arrow (pointing at links) when I was pressing different cubes after a while it just got lost in space, guessing maybe a transform.Rotate() parameter is getting slightly messed up. Nice game all around.
Really enjoyed the story and graphics. It would've been nice to have keyboard input too! Good first jam game.
Cute art. The music might not have been impressive, but it wasn't bad either. It just faded into the background like background music is supposed to do. The movement felt pretty slow, though. Instead of feeling successful when I found and then set up a link between the island and the spire, I felt apprehensive about how many days I still had left and how long I'd have to spend pointlessly going back and forth to use them up. (Which, to be fair, was very *stuck in a loop*.)
This is a really good first jam entry. It's easy to bite off more than you can chew when you're excited. You made something playable and reasonably easy to get started with, which is a great success for your first jam. It was cool exploring the different environments and finding new locations. The link mechanic was really cool and I wish I could have explored it more. Unfortunately I couldn't work out how to get more links. Oh also I really like your multi-biome ring planet idea, very cool. Nice work!

Nice job! The music was great for the feel of the game. I had to make a full circle around the planet to see what each place was, but quickly realized I could link two useful places and never leave them if I wanted. I also wished the movement was quicker, but I think with the slow music it actual worked well at the speed it was. I like the art style too!
Nice art, music and awesome lore.
The game itself was lacking and a bit unclear. Maybe as you said the scope was a bit to big for 48 hours.
OVerall I really enjoyed. thank you for the game!

The music, art and slow walk speed really got me in to the mood of being stranded on a deserted planet! I found a spot where I could just walk between 2 spots to keep my vitals up. Exploit or intended? At least I survived!
So, without reading what you said, I though the game was cool, a little heavy on UI, and too slow, but quite interesting and really pretty ! The music set a mood that I really like (I love ambient music ... so it's already win) But After reading you dev note, I want to congrat you ! For a first Ludum Dare is really really impressive ! Like really awesome ! It's always hard to start a game, and do everything by yourself, but how you did the music work so well (espacially when you start) and the visual are all good ! (like, there a lot of visual and you did a good one ! I love the visual style of the introduction and the overall style !
Well, i like the game (I didn't inish it, it was too long unfortunately)
@scottgoldsmith @chickencastle @ribout-horace Actually, I did other game jams before, so I have some experience in game making, but this is my first Ludum Dare Game Jam, where I have to make my own music and sounds as well, lol.
This is a gorgeous looking game!
THE GOOD: - Graphics and audio is great! - Great concept, with potential for making it a great game - Tutorial in game!
THE BAD: - The movement is slow, when not using the loop mechanic. - I was still a bit confused at exactly what I had to do. - It feels a bit too reliant on luck?
Otherwise, well done overall!

tbh, the game actualy looks quite good. even tho its simple, it got something to it, which fit quite well together.

BRILLIANT!
Don't have much to say that others haven't already, I found it really enjoyable and wouldn't call it a disaster lol. I went back and forth for a while trying to build up some stamina, but when I eventually ran out of battery in the ocean I got a good laugh out of the gameover screen you made
The mood was so eeire and cool. This is the most immersive LD47 game I've played so far. The droning music really added to the experience. Like others have said, I wish the movement was faster, so that I could explore more freely. I liked the game mechanics, but when I died, I didn't want to go back thru.
Great submission!
It's always nice doing something log based with a little narrative and the graphics are very coesive.

Nice entry, congrats!
An interesting take on these sim-type games. The ring planet was visually very pleasing and I liked the initial cut scenes to set the mood. The actual gameplay does need some tweaking though because it is way too easy to survive. You can just go back and forth between the volcano and the island. But I understand this is hard to do in the limited time. Overall I like the idea but the gameplay would need some balancing and additional features to make it fun. Also the little texts for every place were fun to read :) Good job !
Firstly, loved the music, deep sci fi synth tones (kind reminds me of the amazing Masters Of Orion 2 music). It really helps sets the overall tone and mood. Nice cartoon at beginning too.
The tutorial is clear and precise. Time and again I'm convinced that every ludum dare entry should have one.
The gameplay is simple yet fun. Nice to check the narrative built terrain after terrain with the different paths.
Of course, the limited time available to build this game is visible on some areas (as even you said in death screen 😁). But overall, you managed to focus in delivering us with a complete game!

Don't be so negative, this is a very cool game concept, with quite some polish (except for the loss screen, eh). The visuals and the music are very neat too, kudos for making them from scratch! The tutorial was a welcome addition too, an all in all very enjoyable and interesting title, congrats and welcome to LD!

You did a good job with this for as much as you bit off. I have had some absolute stinkers for submissions in past jams, and they are all because of ambition.
