Santa on Skis by Zathnic 2018-12-04T21:31:47Z
Great little game. It reminds me of an old ski game that was on computers back in the early 90s. Love the procedural generation. Nice work with the theme.

Great little game. It reminds me of an old ski game that was on computers back in the early 90s. Love the procedural generation. Nice work with the theme.
Interesting take. The theme felt a bit forced but I enjoyed it overall. If you added a little bit of story to why we're shooting these things in the sky it'd be a solid game!
This game is incredible. Easily the #1 winner right here. horrifying gameplay in relation to the theme. I felt like I was running a sickening prison camp but somehow loved it. Interesting economy in the game, and it can be quite a bit challenging. I'll be playing it again for sure!
A refreshing take on the theme. I love the graphics.
Pretty awesome. Creative puzzles that are just challenging enough. The pixel art is pretty decent but the gameplay is great! Love the creative use of the theme.
Great game. The gameplay was a lot of fun, kind of reminds me of dungeon keeper with sending your minions to do your bidding.
Great gameplay and pretty fun all around!
A great game but a bit clunky. With some improved art and more polish it could be awesome!
Interesting game. Pretty intuitive and unique. I wasn't able to figure out how it fit with the theme though. Creative use of gameplay mechanics though.
I actually really enjoyed the gameplay on this one. I wish there was more story, but with a bit more on the graphics side this game has a lot of potential.
I don't see how it fits into the theme at all and there's zero story, which is dissapoiting because it's a beautiful game.
Great game. I love the artwork and the gameplay is interesting too. It'd be nice if there was a menu button or escape exited, as I had to brute force quit. I like that there's a tutorial.
Pretty funny little game. I enjoyed the concept and the art is great for pixel art. Keep up the great work.
Gorgeous artwork and an interesting concept!
Great graphics and fun gameplay. Great job!
Could use a bit more action in the game, but refreshing to see something that focuses on story for a game jam game.
Finished the game on the first try with a score of 59698.
I really love this game. The graphics are certainly programmer art but fully functional and it gets the point across. A wonderful little game with lots of long-term potential. I'd love to see more challenges to it to make it harder to win, as I won in just about half the required time.
Interesting and fun gameplay, graphics could be spruced up a bit but not bad for a jam!
Love the unique take, the graphics are great.
Great game, beautiful graphics and well done with the music.
I had a lot of fun playing this. Great job.
Beautiful graphics!
This must be how the LD host must feel lol.
Loved the 3d, but controls seemed difficult. The sound of your lazers are great, keep it up.
This game is incredible. Very very well done. I love the sound sonar and the aesthetic. you should be very proud. I've played 15 games from this jam so far and this is hands down my favorite. Make this a bigger game!
Love that it's web based and very interesting concept.
Great game, i loved the idea and it was a lot of fun. I'd love to see an additional feature so i couldn't spam the solar flares. That made it easier than i think it should be. The cutscene when you scorch the Earth is top notch. Brilliant idea, well done.
Great game! Love the artwork.
@pschichtel Thanks! Not long at all, maybe 4-5 hours. It was more to learn Pico-8 than anything. Hoping to further expand the game later.
Love the text based concept. Very different for an LD game and appreciate that.
Great concept! Loved how interactive the game was with only one input button. Great, innovative concept.
Great game, I'm a huge fan of your stuff. It was interesting to see your struggles with your Youtube video for this one. Love the artwork.
Still having trouble with the HTML link
Great game. Love the concept. Very unique and fun little puzzles. Very well done!
This is a pretty cool take on the jam. Definitely enjoyed it.
Really enjoyed the story and graphics. It would've been nice to have keyboard input too! Good first jam game.
I enjoy the simplicity. Good level of polish on it.
Really enjoyed the graphics of this.
Great game, tons of fun and very challenging. Love the shaking of the rocket!
Interesting concept. Started to get the hang of it, and love the stacking and how many options are available in the game. Would've been interesting to have more occur between the cycles, as I spent a lot of time waiting.
Love seeing things made in Love2D, great job!
Awesome graphics, super well done.
Really enjoyable game, love the depth of this as an RTS on a quick timeline like LD! Would definitely play more of this, just fear lots of people will have difficulty with it not being a simple .exe. Great work!
Really enjoyed this and thought it was super cool. Just wish there was an AI I could've played against but always great to see multiplayer games!
Sadly I can't get it to run on Windows due to the OpenAL issue. I'll download it on Linux later. Looking for to this, it looks awesome.
This is really well done, absolutely love the animation. One of the best Construct games I've played for sure.
Lovely graphics and super novel concept. Really into this. Super well done all around. May be the best I've played so far!
Ba Ba
Cool little concept. Not clear if there's an end game? Loved the sound FX and super intuitive controls! Love seeing other games made with Pico8!
@thegamearchitect Thanks for playing! Definitely considering expanding it some and possibly releasing on Android! From the Itch.io page you can load and play on any device with an internet connection! It has built in mobile controls.
@sarah-alexa Thanks! I'm not sure how many people have noticed the fire vision at night feature, but really glad you picked up on it! Thanks for playing!
Great game, fun combat, pretty addictive. Reminds me of the old online games in the early 2000s.
Couldn't get the LD HTML5 to play this, but looking at the file it says it's nearly 400mb, so that's likely the problem. Would love to play it, but I think you need to sort out the compression issues (likely images are just scaled unnecessarily high or you're using a non-ideal audio format.
*It will load on itch.io. Really interesting concept there seems to be a bug with the controls though. The character would frequently just flip several tiles over. Great music!
Nice twist on tetris, blocks were a bit difficult to get where I needed them.
Really enjoyed the intro music. Intersting mix of mechanics, would've been nice to buy an hp increase at some point, as I feel the random nature of the wrenches sometimes gave me a near impossible scenario to avoid being hit. I wish I could see that far into the real stock market! Didn't expect the Nietzsche quote either haha! Good job!
This brought back old school memories, love it!
Awesome graphics and nice gameplay! I really enjoyed this one. Very well done for a jam game.
Really beautifully done!
Your Itch.io link is broken.
Great graphics and the gameplay had me laughing the whole time. Well done.
Awesome music and love the Pico8 use! Definitely gets really challenging. I could waste a lot of time playing this!
This is brilliantly done. Really love the morse code aspect and the Papers Please vibe. Excellent.
I highly recommend packaging into an exported version. Expecting people to download Godot is quite a big ask, fortunately I had it and it was an interesting spin on Rock/Paper/Scissors but would have liked to just run a .dmg or .exe
Really great game and loved the puzzle aspects of it. The controls were driving me crazy though, I'd accidently click and place things very easily, so lots of restarts. Great gameplay though and really enjoyed the challenge!
