Super Fun! Can't say anything that hasn't already been said. Just amazing <3
This was great. The calendar part was deep. Pretty fun =D
It's way too hard for me, but I love the concept and the artstyle
Much more fun than I expected. The controls are a little awkward and could use some work (Space Engineers is a great example of good 3D Controls). Other than that it was great :D
Well done. I like the concept, even though I didn't really feel the change in the physics that much. It's fun :3
Really fun. It does have a lot of bugs from what I've seen, but for a jam game, it's still amazing and complex. Great Atmosphere, Great Art, Great Music!
@kobrar Thank you for the feedback! I really should have made it more apparent that the hearts don't matter if you fall in lava.
This turned out awesome! Only thing that's confusing is that you die when you fire your last bullet. Killed myself a bunch of times by accident.
Okay big props to you for a jam game this is seriously awesome! I don't even wanna imagine the pain of figuring out cases where the player could get stuck. I planned out a metroidvania once, but the while thing with losing items and potentially cutting yourself off... Good job.
I really liked the whole atmosphere, but it was a really slow crawl only to die really close to the end. I feel like the encounters could have bigger impacts. Like it can kill you pretty fast but also get you back up rather fast. Also I didn't really get if losing a ship has any impact on you since they have the different symbols on them.
I really didn't understand what I was supposed to do. I figured out I could Lead the notes into those boxes, but when I managed to make all 3 boxes change I lost anyway... The art is really interesting though
I like the theme integration. It was way too hard for me tho. Maybe what I would do is make you able to change your controls after every level to adapt to it (I wasn't able to do that at least) and maybe even restart at that level, but maybe I just suck at it.
I feel like I don't have enough patience for this game, but I love the idea and when I actually did make a smart choice I felt great
Is there any button to pick up the cube? I had to push it manually and that was very janky. Otherwise really nice puzzles!
It took me a while to beat, but it was worth it. Wish there was music, but with some Dark Synthwave in the back I really got into the mood. A really good experience though. Btw. will you make a Post Mortem about this one?
I got stuck on this for way too long. Will definetly play again. 5/5 best LD game for me so far.
The Art is amazing, but I had no idea whats going on and the tutorial didn't really clear it up. The style is beautiful but I think some text at least when you hover over something would be super helpful. Music was also nice, good job!
The atmosphere was amazing. Though I felt kinda aimless. Also I found the new earth, but couldn't figure out how to interact with it. Also for that meme in the intro you got an instant 5 stars in Humor. B*tch Lasagna
Absolutely amazing, especially considering it was made in such a short time. I ended the game pretty early on, since I could see where it was going, but I wish that ending would've been more satisfying. Maybe I deleted the wrong file but I don't think so. Just an aknowledgement for doing the right thing or something. Still, definetly gave me some undertale vibes or something.
Had me invested a lot longer than I thought. Love the strategy involved. Can't complain.
That intro sequence was amazing for an LD game. Also this is hilarious, couldn't make it far, but before I quit the game I sacrificed a bunch of other parts to see what happens. I gotta say losing my ears and eyes was hilarious. Really well executed! PS: The core idea of my game was kinda similar, though it's spaceship parts not body parts, check it out if you want :)
@papabirb Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback! Yeah you probably start off too underpowered. You were supposed to get better and better parts from the enemies so i wanted to start your control over the ship pretty low, but since i only have one set of components you can actually gain from the enemies right now and they are kinda strong atm that kinda backfired. The enemies actually all drop credits but they accidentaly get rendered behind the planets. So if anyone else is struggling with that you can usually get them by flying around the area the enemy died in.
@djn Thanks! I had so much fun working on it that I will likely keep going. Yeah maybe an actual mouse aim for the gun would help?
@flcx Thank you! Raiding ships is the only other way to gain money yeah, but yeah the spawn rate really is too low.
@blackwen Thank you so much! I will likely continue working on this game though I'll probably be busy with other stuff the next few weeks. If you wanna see where it goes you can follow me on instagram (@nanda_gamedev), just throwing it out there :)
@wdelvi @beelzeboss @kahztein Thank you all so much! Will definetly keep working on it when I have more time
@mertios Sorry, I don't, but I might take the time to make one on the weekend. If I do and you still wanna try it I'll tag you on here again.
@syrok Thank you! I didn't have time for music so thats not a problem with the version :/
@najmm Yeah I wish I had time for the music. I am not though, there are 5 planets in the map and it just loops around when you go too far out. The enemies always spawn at a random planet and travel between them.
The core idea is really good, but I think it lacks a bit of feedback. Has lots of potential though!
Definetly interesting, though sometimes I couldn't take it seriously when someone had never commited a crime, spent 5 years in prison and burned a house down. That one was a good laugh though :P
I really like the core gameplay, but what confused me was the levels, Being able to flee like that all the time keeps the tension pretty low. I feel like just having one big room with enemies, food and vials respawning would've made it a lot more focused.
Okay, since you started doing text-based games your LD games have improved so much. This was definetly the best game I've played from you so far. Super interesting and the mood is amazing.
Adorable. Was very much try-harding this. Which there was more :D
Really chill. Just wish you couldn't get soft-locked so easily.
Enjoyed playing it for quite a while. Couldn't tell if there was a bottom to reach, because i tried to find one for a good while. Pretty fun :)
I adore the retro artstyle and the whole mood, but sadly i got stuck at the very start cause i couldn't press the buttons to power up the first system. Doesn't work on Web or Windows. Still rated in Graphics though.
Probably my favorite entry so far! Awesome mechanics. Very hard, but good
@mmason Thanks a lot! I'm glad you could play it after all. If you mean the desktop wallpaper that was me but you can actually dither like that in one click with Aseprite ;D
Also we're thinking about fleshing the game out properly, so if you're interested in that you can follow us either on itch or twitter (@starbannergames and @WandersenCS). Would be much appreciated :)
Really fun! The perspective makes it pretty dang hard tho
Really cool idea and good execution. Sometimes it just feels crazy fast. I feel like it could still be challenging with a bit more telegraphing. The trippy arstyle is awesome too!
Very solid and really polished for a jam game. Also you had to go all out with the Credits Screen huh? ;D
After a lot of tries, I finally finished it with 1 second left. Absolutely amazing. Kinda sad that there's no audio, but I'm actually glad there was no pathfinding. That made the movement a lot more challenging and interesting. Deserved 5/5 everywhere :P
Didn't make it either. Hope we make it next time :)
