Beautiful game and good audio, but no story, no idea how to really play or what the goal is.
Well I wish it was a bit more story driven too. Controls could be optimized. But I liked it! Good Job!
I struggled with the controls but I really enjoyed the visuals and audio
Guy who can't settle on a name you're so done with him did a great job on the music. The whole game had a very rhythmical feel to it, with the red eyes in the background and jumping in sync with the music to swing your minions around. Took me a couple runs to figure out a winning strategy, my final run was 25 sacrifices overall, including myself. Once, I died as the 20th sacrifice and got both the thanks for feeding me and how embarrassing text at the same time, which I'll consider a draw for the books. Had some good fun with this again, well done to everyone!
Also, cinnamon candles really work best with pentagrams, that's the truth.
Nice graphics and mood, also the soundtrack, but the game is a bit frustrating, lol maybe some tunning on the controls and the movement of the "meat"(?) shields hehe keep up the good work! congrats!
Love the backdrop and character art, plus the music fits perfectly. The controls are nice and I like that your "followers" move with you left and right, but I wish they didn't do that weird random-feeling orbital thing where they sometimes wrap too far and miss your target.

Quite a cool game
This appeared in my ld46 feed. Huh. Well, I'll leave the review anyway.
"... Never in my life have I been called embarassinge. First time for everything.
Audio and graphics are release worthy. It took me a bit to figure out the mechanic but it was rewarding.
As feedback, I wish the enemies spawned on platforms randomly, to keep you on your toes. I'd zoom out and add more platforms too to give you a variety of available routes. Kinda like Joust."
It feels like something I would have drawn in my Trapper Keeper in 7th grade and I love it.
Found this when it showed up in the LD47 game browser. Thought it was weird how it had already received a rating. But it looks like this has happened a couple times now judging by the last couple comments... Strange... Still a cool game!
That,s soo fun! And it's really hardcore:D A bit confused with jumping, adding smth like classic space button could be clearer. But I still had fun. And music guy, please settle on a name, ur music is so cool :D
