This one is in a close race with Danger Beat for my favorite game of the jam.
This was enjoyable, relaxing and challenging all in one. Love the innovation of the mouse scroll control for scale/rotation. Brilliant!
Only difficulty I ran into was trying to throw daggers when behind an object, the daggers would come towards the camera. But very fun otherwise, the tutorial is well enough built that I think you can get rid of some of the intro and html text on the theme/submission pages.
Would love to see someone who is good at this play it out, because I can see it being hilarious/fun. But I struggled with it, couldn't get more than 3 or 4 different tracks. Solidly built though, just user error.
Had a little difficulty figuring out what to do. I feel like web conversions of games are always hell on mouse sensitivity too, had a tough time staying in the clamp radius when trying to look down.
Tabs. That's the end of the discussion. Fun way of picking up items by debugging!
Love the mobile ads, full marks for humor. I had to zoom out in order to play on my laptop, not the end of the world, but wondering how big your dev monitor is. Wish there was a way to get to the shop from inside the game.
Just had to spam buttons to figure out 'E' was the interact button, because I just missed the menu screen. Fun one, will definitely take a look at the source code to figure out how to manipulate time like that!
Should have enabled ratings for sound, great background music, this was a fun one, reminds me of a lot of the flash games from back in the day, so simple, but so addictive. Well done.
I'm looking forward to the finished build! Would love to see some transitions between clicking and actions happening as well. I wouldn't want to try a deck builder in 48 hours, kudos to you.
Would love to be able to use WASD, just more comfortable, but very fun game! Great entry!
Wow that was fun, I'm grinning like an idiot playing this!
My only criticism is I wish there was more! I love tower defense, and this is the innovation I never knew I needed, mobile towers. Top marks for innovation and fun.
Enjoyable, love RTS and management games, and this one I just sat and played for 20 minutes straight trying to grow the acreage. I'm still struggling with anything other than blowing stuff up and making more railroads though. I will persist.
Frustrating gameplay, just because I'm a completionist and as soon as I dropped below 100% I knew I was just fighting to keep what I had. Great art! Nice job.
I think we all know a Maxwellior, and that guy sucks! Loved Fun-Facts01 though. Nice satire of modern social media.
Love the social commentary here, but applauding the point and click. Nice and simple game, but very enjoyable. Well done!
@tero-pulkkinen Anything in particular you'd want to change about the controls?
@theconfusedcyborg Just made the repo public. Yeah, you are just progressing when reaching a gate, so I'll try to brush that up. And the down key is the secret trick that I realize I never told the player about. It's just supposed to turn you around though, not drop you through the floor will have to work on that.
@rhoff95 Definitely seems to be the most consistent feedback. Will keep working on it. Great job on Danger Beat, can't stop playing.
@captaindreamcast - Thanks! Yes, the ability to jump on a side wall is a pro move. Forgot to leave in my comment on your game that I love the fact you included controller settings for a Dreamcast, gone too soon from this world - RIP. @cyborg-studio - You are right, I should have made it more explicit that TAB had useful info rather than just pausing. @remzo - That damn floor, I'll get a guy on that in the morning. I was considering the automatic move forward, but there are times when it can be useful to just stand still, those would probably be accentuated if I had done what @ale had said and @thecakeconsortium said about increasing difficulty/speed as time goes on, and the truth is that is a feature in the game, but only if you turn around (S - key) rather than when you hit gates, so my bad on not integrating that! Thanks all for the feedback!
Great sound! There might be a minor issue with the arrow (pointing at links) when I was pressing different cubes after a while it just got lost in space, guessing maybe a transform.Rotate() parameter is getting slightly messed up. Nice game all around.
Unclear what exactly we were supposed to do with the good(?) notes. I only knew to strum up and down on bad notes to prevent them from getting through.
