The mechanics were a bit opaque (it wasn't clear what "using" an item vs "selling" it was), but was quite fun after a few tries. Would love to see what it looks like with some polish on the art/music.

Nice concept! Would be a lot of fun with some interface tweaks (make it obvious what the relationship is between shooting things and your score, positive and negative juice, better typography, etc).
Lovely graphics and concept! Is there a way to move the pawn past the bridge to help with the queen at the end?
I couldn't make out what the synthesized voice was saying at all. :( It might be useful to add subtitles, or a transcription in the description, as an accessibility feature?
Super cute platformer! Only issue I ran into was that the dialogue towards the ending segment was a bit slow/glitchy. Otherwise, nice use of the theme.
This was lots of fun and quite rewarding to play. Was there any audio (or should you not be ranked in that category)?
I'm seeing the source code; is there a link to play the game itself?
Adorbs!
Well-executed and atmospheric. I love your take on the theme. Congrats!
Seconding the comment that the player should be able to advance the text before the audio finishes playing. Otherwise, this gam was fantastic-- great atmosphere, sounds, and graphics!
@kaafirookie @f1krazy @francesco Thanks so much for the critique! This was my first Ludum Dare, *and* I was sick that weekend, so I kept the scope pretty small. :) I'll be patching it with additional features, point-and-click verbs, and gameplay once allowed.
It might be helpful to include "press TAB to see a help menu" in the game description, since that was easy to miss on the start screen! Like @theconfusedcyborg, I had trouble figuring out that I was supposed to go through the gates and not supposed to attempt to fix the bugs. :)
Gorgeous art! The web game crashed on me after level 6 or so, though-- is there supposed to be an ending cutscene?
Solid short story with a satisfying ending! And yay for more visual novels/memory processing games. :) The graphics (especially the UI) and audio have a bit of an unfinished feel; adding to them post-jam might make it a lot more satisfying.
Short, sweet, and cute! Love the dirt simulation. :)
Very cool and thematic! Glad I'm not the only one who went with "trauma regression" for the theme. :) Love the graphics and music interspersed with gameplay.
One complaint/comment-- the interface makes it really easy to accidentally skip important dialogue by clicking too quickly. (I probably missed 25% of the speech bubbles by accident, including the very last one.) Might be worth patching that before the gamejam is over.
Otherwise, nice work!
Looks intriguing, but the text is a bit hard to read, and the interface is a bit hard to parse? I'm not sure what's killing me (are the glowing cyan blobs sharks that are eating me)? Some sound effects or visual juice to make the mechanics more obvious might help.
