I feel like I'm inside a hyperloop tunnel. But controls are the area that needs most improvement. Audio was also kinda odd, but ok given the time (I didn't get even that done in my game). But the colours are very neat, I didn't expect such colourful game.
@tero-pulkkinen Anything in particular you'd want to change about the controls?
I get that the audio is supposed to sound glitchy, but this veers into the realm of "actually painful to listen to". The gameplay is pretty basic as well, because you only have to look at the segment you're on and the one that's gonna be swapped to next. The core dodging objects gameplay works fine I guess, but overall it's pretty shallow.
Nice simple game. It looks very interesting and vibrant, I especially like the starting intro screen. The loop concept is kinda neat. One possible improvements is you could introduce a progression/extra challenge by increasing the obstacles and the speed.
The source code link doesn't work for me, you might want to change the repo settings to be public? (or maybe there's a typo in the url?)
I liked the audio! The game had a few glitches (I pressed down a few times and clipped through the floor), but hey, it's ldjam. I think there could be a bit more feedback in the UI as you progress, I wasn't sure if I was progressing or if I was dying when touching the gates. Overall, it was interesting, but not very challenging.

Very interesting game with a nice concept.. yeah on some points it could be a more "non-glitchy" but hey  overall a good project! Like it.
@theconfusedcyborg Just made the repo public. Yeah, you are just progressing when reaching a gate, so I'll try to brush that up. And the down key is the secret trick that I realize I never told the player about. It's just supposed to turn you around though, not drop you through the floor will have to work on that.

Cool game! Would have liked some instructions (that were not scrolling too fast to see) and transitions when the loop turns. I have no clue what turning did, and an instant transition is pretty disorienting.
@rhoff95 Definitely seems to be the most consistent feedback. Will keep working on it. Great job on Danger Beat, can't stop playing.
My highscore is 2247, dodging those bugs like an olympic bug-dodger.
Very cool take on the theme, being stuck in that development loop and dodging those bugs is a feeling we all know very well. Graphics-wise, the color palette reminded me of those older Windows screensavers, that gave it a very computer-y feel. There was some cool stuff you can do that I discovered, for example, I once dodged a bug near the side of the floor by jumping and riding on the adjacent floor, I felt very cool doing that, I liked that. All in all great job on your entry, I had a good time playing it!
It might be helpful to include "press TAB to see a help menu" in the game description, since that was easy to miss on the start screen! Like @theconfusedcyborg, I had trouble figuring out that I was supposed to go through the gates and not supposed to attempt to fix the bugs. :)

Nice submission! I think you could perhaps have the player moving forward automatically instead of having to hold the button down. I also fell through the floor at one point.

I love the audio and visual theme here, and the concept of a wheel rolling through an endless pipe is fun. The gameplay felt a bit too easy though, maybe because everything moves so slow that it's easy to avoid it? I think it'd be more fun if it went a little faster (or the pace picked up after a short while), and maybe if there were some shiny things to pick up.
Good job!
@captaindreamcast - Thanks! Yes, the ability to jump on a side wall is a pro move. Forgot to leave in my comment on your game that I love the fact you included controller settings for a Dreamcast, gone too soon from this world - RIP. @cyborg-studio - You are right, I should have made it more explicit that TAB had useful info rather than just pausing. @remzo - That damn floor, I'll get a guy on that in the morning. I was considering the automatic move forward, but there are times when it can be useful to just stand still, those would probably be accentuated if I had done what @ale had said and @thecakeconsortium said about increasing difficulty/speed as time goes on, and the truth is that is a feature in the game, but only if you turn around (S - key) rather than when you hit gates, so my bad on not integrating that! Thanks all for the feedback!

Your tutorial popups and text in general was really hard to read because of the low contrast, generally it's better to consistently use 1 bright font color on a dark background without changing colors constantly, red text on black is also hard to read, and white text on a multicolored background is... a cardinal sin...
I wasn't really sure what the goal was for the first 3 or 4 loops, I thought I was dying when I hit the goal because I hit the red section and everything reset. I think a little fanfare would be good when you hit a goal, a particle effect or a positive noise could really make it more clear you did something good.
Lastly the rotation mechanic was interesting, it reminded me a bit of super hexagon in some ways. Congratulations on finishing your game in time!
Cool idea. Collisions felt a tad touchy maybe? I may not have been following the action right. I feel like there's a strong idea here and this could turn into something really cool!
I don't know I'm a bit lost on this one. Loved the audio but I really don't know how to play it. Tried checking the comment section but still couldn't figure it out. I think I'm not getting it 'cause it's like a big programmer joke game and I'm not really a skilfull programmer. Should I read a book to understand it? haha :)
also there is a little too much of obvious stuff in your tutorial but not enough explained about the core mechanic/gameplay
Nice game! :)
