controls were a bit janky, but it wasn't a bad experience overall! Would have enjoyed it more if the whole thing felt a bit faster.

Pretty fun, a bit slow at first though, but the dialogue by the campers really added a lot of character!
Interesting concept! Not being able to repeat the last command with up made it feel a bit tedious, but it was still fun.
Super neat idea!
The audio effects were hilarious!
The echoing voices sent me! Neat execution of this idea!
Loved the sound effects! The controls were really good!
The graphics are so impressive for 48hrs! The animals are super cute!
Some instructions in game would have been nice, but pretty fun! Would be more interesting if the hazards had more variation to them, but still pretty solid.
Awesome voice acting!
Nice idea, had some strange graphics glitches on firefox. It was a little confusing how the mechanics worked at first. Overall, interesting take on the rhythm game genre.
The dual wielding system is super innovative! Would maybe have been easier to use if w/s controlled the angle between the two guns instead of the mouse, but still pretty fun!
Pretty neat idea, it took a few tries to get the hang of the physics but it was super fun!
Really enjoyed this game! Don't think I could play it longer than I did, and would have loved to see more type of enemy viruses with different properties or something to keep the gameplay interesting!

Interesting take on the theme! The game does get a bit monotonous after a while, but it's a really neat idea!
controls seemed a bit glitchy at times, but cool concept!
Fun! The camera zooming in on the baby was confusing, but otherwise I really enjoyed it!
@justalocalhero what browser are you using? It only works on desktop chrome and with limited support desktop firefox. Didn't have enough time to extend support to any other browsers
@peto184 that was the original idea, but there were time constraints :P
Yeah....I probably should have spent more time making the AIs better than the networking. The attacks add length to enemies, but there's no animations for it, so it's not super clear when you are attacked... you can only attack when the blue bar at the top of your display is full, and are attacked when your red bar is full.
Fun game! I wouldn't say that I personally really liked the memory aspect to the puzzle, but the concept was interesting! The plants indicating the room number was super clever! Personally, I liked the music - it added a nice happy contrast to my pile of skeletons!
It's a cool concept but kinda tedious to play. It was also really confusing at first without a tutorial. Having arrow keys being able to control the player, or just a faster pace in general might have made it more fun. I think the core concept could be polished into something really fun though!
I got a real kick out of this game - wish debugging memory leaks IRL was this fun!
I loved the puzzles! Took me a few tries to solve all of them, but it was really rewarding when I did. I'm a huge sucker for point & click games (like submachine) and this really reminded me how fun they can be!
(the linux build worked perfectly for me btw)
Super fun! The audio was excellent! I thought the difficulty curve made this game really rewarding to play over and over again!
I get a 404 for the itch.io web link - maybe it's just taking a minute though.
Cool idea! Would have loved if you could partially rewind by holding r and there were some more puzzle aspects around the time rewinding idea.
Wow, the level design was great! The game play was fun, but having some audio/visual effects when picking up the gems would have made it so much more satisfying. The upside down/gravity switching stuff made it really interesting - reminded me a bit of super mario galaxy. Jumping was a little janky, but it didn't really take away from the puzzle!
I loved this game! Super fun and I liked replaying it trying to beat it with fewer clones each time!
Refreshing! Moving astroids would have made this much harder and more interesting. I loved the intro cutscene and the voice over was super fun!
Love the idea and both the audio and visuals made it feel really satisfying to play!
Loved this game, story was great and the gameplay was fun. I thought the music was also pretty good!
This was really innovative! It would have been nice if the platforming was just a little more forgiving, but you did warn us about the difficulty :joy:
This is honestly the most interesting game I've played this from jam so far!
@ubershmekel Thank you! The levels are actually plain text files that are parsed and then rendered in the game. You can see them here: https://github.com/aneeshdurg/karmic-circle/tree/main/level (https://github.com/aneeshdurg/karmic-circle/blob/main/script.js#L48 this might help explain what each character represents)
I wanted to add some more visual flair but ran out of time towards the end. I didn't have internet access during most of this jam, so it was all about trying to get the most mileage I could with the tools I had.
Fun game, though a bit repetitive. Having more checkpoints in hard mode would have made it more fun IMO, but it was still very well executed overall!
The radio didn't work for me (firefox), but I liked the game anyway, had a bit of that crazy taxi feel! I could see this being a really fun mobile game!
The source code link doesn't work for me, you might want to change the repo settings to be public? (or maybe there's a typo in the url?)
I liked the audio! The game had a few glitches (I pressed down a few times and clipped through the floor), but hey, it's ldjam. I think there could be a bit more feedback in the UI as you progress, I wasn't sure if I was progressing or if I was dying when touching the gates. Overall, it was interesting, but not very challenging.
