Having some fun when you play at this game !

steelysam 2020-04-20 11:54

I was confused by the aiming mechanic at first, but once you get it it's very fun

jelle-vermandere 2020-04-20 13:03

The Two guns are a nice mechanic! Really fun trying to hit multiple enemies at once with some cool trick shots, wel done!

quinn-patrick 2020-04-20 13:35

A very ambitious entry with loads of variety. From my perspective it's pretty clearly unfinished, but for the amount you took on, what's there is solid. Also, your art is some areas is excellent. As a veteran of Ludum Dare, I'd say you can call your first one a success :)

njm-games 2020-04-20 13:36

@jelle-vermandere Just subbed to your youtube :)

I had a lot of fun with this game! I could see you improving it with different modes. Endless mode would just be a "how long can you last mode" and then have a normal leveled mode. Needs a point system. You could spend points to buy upgrades/ammo/health. Great concept and something you could roll with!

mehrdadsh 2020-04-20 13:38

i like that you ran out of bullets,

bloham 2020-04-20 13:43

Hi, I like your mechanic with the dual wielded guns and the different weapons you have. I would have wished a little more "juiciness" for my shots and when I get hit ^^ the first time I did not realize you could move left and right, so that I did but did not know why, until I understand the orange things are barriers xD But I like your idea and was waiting in the end for the big boss! Maybe in the future you add one with some SFX and you have a nice little game!

the-missing-bracket 2020-04-20 13:52

the dual guns mechanic is smart. it takes time to get used to, but when you do its awesome

jonathanjoseph 2020-04-20 14:04

the game is really good fun and it is full of features i just wish that my mouse diaper while playing

tayfun 2020-04-20 16:06

very interesting shooting mechanic. Definetely needs music with tempo and SFX. After you add that stuff I believe this game will be awesome.

mathurin 2020-04-20 16:27

Nice game, interesting shooting mechanics, the sound is really missing but it's fun to play anyway !

harry-alissavakis 2020-04-20 16:50

Cool shooting mechanic and overall game design! Could definitely be evolved into an interesting arcade game! Good job!

thatothernerd 2020-04-20 18:00

The scroll wheel aspect is too sensitive, at least on my mouse.

galgris 2020-04-20 18:22

Loved the controls! Never seen anything like it. Didn't master it though...

kidanger 2020-04-20 18:51

The two-guns mechanism is great, and the different guns offer some variety to the gameplay. Good job!

njm-games 2020-04-20 18:57

@thatothernerd its programmed that one scroll click to change forward or back. I think its your mouse unfortunately. But you can use the number keys instead.

attala 2020-04-20 19:32

Nice submission for your first LD. The gameplay is good. Adding animations and sound would as you've already mentioned do wonders for this game. Good job!

chaseplays 2020-04-20 19:38

This was really cool! I can tell you put a lot of effort into the dual-shooting controls, and it paid off -- they're really fun to use! With a faster pace, this would make an awesome bullet-hell, especially if you added some enemies that you had to shoot in two places simultaneously. Great work! This was really unique!

graal 2020-04-20 19:39

The aiming system is awesome. It is very fun to try shoot multiple enemies at once.

godsboss 2020-04-20 19:44

Didn't like the aim mechanic, but the game is good and there was nice variation in the enemy types.

theseusinabottle 2020-04-20 19:58

Who doesn't love pistols akimbo. I really liked the gameplay of simple shooting and auto scrolling. I liked that as time went own I started to see some new enemys like the guys that stop and turn into turrets. I do wish that there was some sound to give more of an impact to the shots though.

theconfusedcyborg 2020-04-20 19:59

The dual wielding system is super innovative! Would maybe have been easier to use if w/s controlled the angle between the two guns instead of the mouse, but still pretty fun!

etdofresh 2020-04-20 21:33

I like the gameplay overall, but needed just some kind of ending or ramp up of difficulty at the end. Thanks for the entry.

dinaharison 2020-04-21 05:12

I loved the idea of the double gun, my favorite guns was the 4th, excellent work!

bonyok77 2020-04-21 05:44

you need to implement more juice to the game

westmave 2020-04-21 06:43

Cool Idea, using two Guns this way and nice implementation of the controls. It felt intuitiv the moment I figured out which keys to use. Some kind of sound would have been nice, but Overall good job, good game.

njm-games 2020-04-21 09:52

@bonyok77 I know!!! I ran out of time :(

kinto 2020-04-21 19:39

Was a little disappointed until I found out YOU CAN CHANGE WEAPONS! Great game, great concept. Good Work!

njm-games 2020-04-22 16:20

@etdofresh It should get harder now that I fixed the bug :face_palm: Level 2 and 3 are def harder

kc-shiftyyy 2020-04-22 18:14

this is actually a lot of fun, great for a first game. it really needs some juice being a shooter, like slo-mo or even just better animations. still, great job 👍🏿

hhsaez 2020-04-22 21:50

Great game! The dual pistol mechanics is really well done. I didn't use it much in the end, since it seemed more effective to fire straight ahead instead. But I think is a great concept that you can use in other games Levels feel a bit long, specially considering you cannot pause the game. Sometimes I just needed to take a break after some intense fights.

Great work!

mikouaji 2020-04-23 07:27

super fun and challenging! love the double shoot angle mechanics, it gets a little crazy with the ranom ammo and it makes it more fun imo

01010111 2020-05-11 19:22

Cool aiming mechanic! It takes a while to get used to but it felt nice!
