Nice idea - in line with the theme. Annoyingly sticky tentacles... :) I would like the monster to catch food mid-air when thrown at it...

The game freezes sometimes. But I love the style. Reminds me of old point and click adventures. :)
Liked the idea. A bit repetitive as someone said. Needs more work on the graphics to make it feel like you are actually out walking. Maybe actually walk in a park, and not just straight forward, like on a road. But, I do like it.
To be honest I don't really understand what to do. I guess I should give it some more time. Missing animations of course, but I saw you were prioritising gameplay and features.
I like the style, gfx, sound, gameplay. You have captured the retro rpg feeling. I Like!
@timo-strating : Empty land could be just empty, you only have to store the objects. PICO-8 is limited in pixels, colors, sound and memory, but you have lots of computing and rendering power which is a bit wierd at first... Coding for PICO-8 truly is addictive! I had way too much fun creating my own entry...
Should have gone for that "any"-key instead I guess. Too late now tough... :)
I agree, but with a checkpoint system I would have needed more levels... :smirk:
I think maybe it's because many of us used to do this 24/7, 30 years ago, with similar tooling, now using things we have learnt over the years, looking back nostalgically.
Yep, you are right. It seems that jump on level 7 is impossible with the current gravity. I think you could make it if hitting the edge perfectly and being moved up by a glitch in the physics simulation, but it's still a bug... I didn't get that far when testing..
Nice. Clean. Simple. I like the straight forward controls, its up to me to move the ball - no wierd springs or strings attached...
I Like!
Nice! love it. :)
The shooting version I have played too many different version today. Still this is one of the best looking ones. Missing explosions.
The fruit ninja version was more interesting. Nicely implemented, but not very playable. Asteroids are too small to hit...
All in all, one of he best looking asteroids game of LD46.
Love the art style. Scary voice too... :)
Nice. A bit tricky at first to figure out the controls, but then it felt smooth. I like it.
A slightly deeper meaning than in my game, where it's enough to stay away from evil firefighters to keep the flame alive...
Nice.
Why idid the lightbulb fall down? I didn't expect that one...
Using the theme spot on. Egg control and physics could be improved, but I like!
It has some nice feeling to it. Animations are great, but the surroundings would benefit from being cleaned up I think. Sound is obviously missing too.
Keep up the good work!
Liked the visuals and style, but a bit hard to understand what to do. Still not entirely sure I got it all correct...
Probably getting affected by all games i have tested the last hours, but I also wanted (and tried) to put the NPC:s on the fire. :smirk:
Should probably get some sleep.
Nice idea. Controls could be more smooth. Picking up objects easier, without having to face them exactly right, would be nice. Still, in line with the theme, and a nice little game.
Another fresh take on an asteroids game. I like the controls for fighting the bugs. Feels like smearing them out with that delayed cat motion. Distracting the bird on the other hand, I never fully mastered... :smirk:
Refreshing new take, with a twist. I like!
Love the style. Issues running in the browser, unfortunately, as you wrote. Love the graphics and creepy animations!
Like the style. And the best music of any game... :)
New type of player control. Also like the sound of the big guy jumping.
Cool game. I like the idea, just healing, leaving the fighting to the others... Totally in line with the theme
So simple, but fun. Lack of sleep makes it harder though. Clean, focus on the game. I like!
I won! Need more levels... ;)
Player controls and physics could be improved.
But still a very playable game.
Relaxing, as someone said. I really like the style. Couldn't get the hang of the controls, but I'm allergic to cats so I am not rescuing any anyway... :)
Amazing visuals. I Like!
I think I like it. Didn't get anywhere though. Not sure I am suposed to... :) frustrating... in a good way that is. I like the idea and style.
I really love the idea of destruction derby using an ambulance... I mean, why not? Nice clean graphics. But the physics. Sorry, but the simulation and controls... not good. Using Unity3d, it shouldn't be too hard to fix it. The game would really benefit from an improved physics engine I think. I enjoyed flipping over the ambulance though...
I still enjoyed the game very much. It looks really good. (And I did win!)
Keep up the good work!
Nice game. Really like it, although, I'm too slow.... stuck on lvl 3...
Nice controls, clean design. Visuals and sounds on the same level. Really well balanced.
Loved the controls! Never seen anything like it. Didn't master it though...
Hard to drop and pickup items, but I really like the idea. Quite original. Perfectly in line with the theme! Nice!
I like the slow lasers. It gives you the feeling everything is big. The small rocks are hard to hit...
As for improvement suggestions, I did a similar game for a client, a couple of years ago, using a big touch screen. I had lasers overheating and protective shields requiring energy.
Good. Really good. The music really adds a dimension to the game. Text adventures are old school, but I guess I'm old enough... I like!
Clean design. Maybe an animated character next?
Nice effects! Too hard for me, though.
One of my favorites so far! Clever design. Cool idea. Just enough content to have it playable. Very good!
Interesting with a new take on asteroids, in line with the theme. Anyone fighting COVID-19 gets a !
Source code link/repo is empty too. Title image looks interesting though.
 Yep, now it works! Looks good!
Like the atmosphere, visuals and sound.
What did I just play? Very indie. Don't turn off the effect.
The contrast between the psychedelic visuals and the soft music when you hit the notes really works.
Great sound!
I guess the jam is still running... hoping for something to come up here
Simple and hard. I like! :)
I really like the idea. This whole thing with indirect control, changing the path, keeping the bike movement constant. I really like it!
Love the idea! Beautiful. Of course you should create a game of life with the "keep it alive" theme, I didn't come to think of it though. Again, I love the idea!
Like the style. As someone said, slightly irritating controls/jumps sometimes, but that is was games like these are supposed to be like. Annoying - and then you play some more. Didn't know plants were afraid of birds... :) ...and bonus point for the puns...
Most of the time It was probably because of my bad timing. I think I have issues with the lack of physics. No momentum. The plant moves and stops instantly when pressing or releasing the arrow keys, even in mid air. Nothing wrong with having it that way, It's just me... ;)
Like the idea. Being a middleman, slowing everything down, thats me... Really, good, and actually quite fun to play!
That moaning sound! Insane Love the game!
