This is a different take on "keep it alive", well done.
Interesting idea. The camera is a bit too zoomed out and you can't see whats happening. There's a bug that you can step near him at such angle, that he is unable to hit you, but you can hit him, so you can rank up inifinte score. Nice game nontheless, congrats on finishing!
nice idea.
Nice idea! I like the idea of keeping the enemy alive. Maybe he should act the same, as he is much better in fist fights than me :-) I had a music where it played two times, resulting in a quite strange noise, but otherwise no technical problems. My highscore was 75.
There are some audio bugs but I restarted the game and I solved it.
Nice lights effects, peronnaly I prefere killing him each time ! Thanks !
Like the atmosphere, visuals and sound.
Interesting idea! Since it's basically a 1v1 combat, I guess the camera could be much closer to your character then it is right now. I'd also probably make the attack range a little bit bigger, since often it looks like both me and the opponent should score a hit, yet neither of us lost any hit points.
One bug I found: if, after losing the game, you return to the main menu, the music player from the game scene remains active. Since the main menu has its own audio source active, you actually have two music players playing the same track at the same time. Actually, every time you click play and then return to main menu after losing, another music player is added. The music track is great, but it sounds better if I can hear it from only one source at a time. ;)
Also, you might want to edit your Itch.io game window size. Currently it is too narrow and some of the text is off-screen: keepHimAlive.png Pressing the fullscreen button added by Itch.io doesn't help here, but if you click on Unity fullscreen it works fine. Since you added Unity fullscreen button you might want to disable the Itch.io one.
I fell in love with the visuals! Nice graphics and lighting, gave me some good ideas, thanks! :)
But the game itself lacks some depth. A bit more time on the mechanics/combat would have been great!
And there could be some goal, or some stronger enemies later on, with more mechanics... because fighting something endlessly for no reason isn't really a goal for me
Tried baiting him to the lava for fun, but sadly it's impossible
Nice entry anway!
Pro-tip: left click and right click at the same time for fun and points.
Interesting concept but not enough variety in play to keep the game interesting. The AI could also do with some better pathfinding, currently it quite happily wedges itself into corners trying to get to you but understandably that can take a lot of time to work on
Neat game! I like the graphics.
Nicely done! I love the lighting. The audio is also nice. I feel like there should have been more to the combat, and perhaps a goal. I also didn't like how much you slide around. Overall its a great game, well done.
Nice concept. I've had too much background sound though, like 2 music tracks overlapping. Other than that, I like the game. Cheers.
Interesting idea but somewhat weird excecution. Maybe instead of having it a 1v1 make more enemies spawn over time and keeping them alive scores you more points than just killing them off as they spawn (but also increases the risk of you being overwhelmed).
Well, that's just my two cents, congratulations on your submission!
Fun game! It could, however, use some more things to do, like other enemies trying to kill your enemy so you also need to defend him? The map is pretty big so there's definitely some space for more action! These are just suggestions of course. The game itself is pretty solid. Good job!
The game looks nice and it plays well in my opinion
