Awesome weirdo thing! I really love this Dukes of hazzard reference
Awesome and captivating! Replayable.
Wow, i can't believe somebody could do somethink like this within only 3 days! Great
Hey, ive got the next error:
___________________________________________ ############################################################################################ FATAL ERROR in action number 1 of Mouse Event for Left Released for object obj_buyfreeze:
Unable to find any instance for object index '13' name 'obj_enemy' at gml_Object_obj_buyfreeze_Mouse_7 ############################################################################################ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- stack frame is gml_Object_obj_buyfreeze_Mouse_7 (line -1)
It's easy to fix though :P
About the game: i like that generally( in spite of that error above) it works properly and controls are comfortable. Exlosions after bullets look pretty cool. Seems like you had some fun doing that game and you enjoyed it
I like the effects and overall visual part of the game but I found it really hard to play. Maybe because of these bugs: Controls don't work if there is a controller(xbox one in my case) plugged in the pc; jump works not always, practically it's relly rare when it works
@querk wow, thank you for such an informative review! I actually would like to continue work on this project. I really loved making it for Ludum Dare
@gonutz Thank you, I appreciate criticism, espesially if it comes such reasonably and in detail.
I actually have fixed some of those problems, that you and some other guys have pointed out. Everyone may now download the new (BUGFIXED) version from my itch.io page.
I would add here, there is a bar in the left down corner that displays a description whenever the cursor is on top of one of the UI elements. It also tells when the player has won.
@musxue if I understood you correctly, your cube was swallowed by enemy's one while it was moving in the direction of an yellow cube. That is why that happend: units can't do multiple orders at the same time, so your cube most probably had an order to move when the enemy's cube attacked, that's why it couldn't defend himself- it had the order to move.
About differences: yellow ones are not enemies. They are neutral, static(can't move), resources , free mass to let both the player and the enemy get bigger. In order to defeat the enemy player have to obtain greater mass than his rival. That's what yellow cubes for
Pretty good effects. I wonder if these visual effects are custom shaders? Controls are very responsive. One thing I am not really appreciate is those comments after the play. I find most of them offensive to a player
Unbenannt.png Oh, Physics works great, runs like a clockwork even with not round wheels
@decadedecaf @pedromgdo Thanks, I hope i have fixed it now
@tobias-froihofer Thanks for an informative resopnse! I think it is better to launch the rocker in the dircetion of it´s vector´s velocity because it feels more "natural". Oh, yes, there are actualy already some fuel planets( brown asteroids with lakes of fuel) but due to a bug( in previous version - I have fixed it in [Bugfixed] releases) the rocket had 0 fuel capacity on the start, so it was impossible to gain more fuel. But i like that you got to such thoughts too. To some extent it proves integrity of the game´s idea. You are welcome to try the Bugfixed version of the game. In the future I would like to do a Post-LD version.
Awesome feature on Pressing V. Seems like it uses current system´s voice
It is really awesome that youve tried to make a boardgame. Thats a big plus for courage! And then you even ported it as a video game!!!
I liked the puzzle, but I couldn't open the second door. Is it a bug? [Unbenannt.png](///raw/098/d1/z/3981a.png)Unbenannt.png
Hahaha. Respect for recording your voice! It was actually in the mood! And I liked the Debug mode
Delightful gameplay! I like that you have a learning curve in this game, a player may die twice or trice, but it simply makes more interesting to start over again
Awesome game. Looks like you had a lot of fun making it, guys! A thought come to my mind during the game: maybe you could do that when the player bumps into a cube, say, the green one, the background changes and the player is now in the green dimension. So each cube in itself would be a portal to another colored dimension, but this black hole on the top remains the same. That way the game would seem even more dynamic. And this reminds me of the Futurama episode where they had different dimensions in boxes and traveled by jumping into them
Same as @achef122, didn't get the rules. Yet the games feels polished and neat. Good Job! I think it would be a good idea to work on your game's description and the page on itch io. Add a cover image and some screenshots
Cool that you've managed to implement so many actual pinball elements! The speed of the ball is very slow though, you could try simply increasing it's weight.
Guys I picked up a bottle of milk, a bowl and cereals, but couldn't find out what to do next. Can you give me a clue? And my PC is going crazy after launching the game. Maybe you could optimize the use of resources?
Why such a big team by the way? 18 people! How did you even managed to organize it?
After waiting a little longer on the losing screen, I couldn't play any further. ezgif.com-gif-maker (4).gif
Wow so simple and yet completely functional! Nice game. But I wonder if it's actually possible not only to delay, but even to fix the decay?
What an elegance!
