Spirit Seekers has a very nice art style, but the flaw is in the game play, since you didn't explain the buttons it took some time figure things out, but the main is how the character stick to the wall when you jump, making it impossible to go through between walls and so I kept getting killed by some rolling thing.

Nice looking visuals and the way the sound effects changed with the laser getting closer was cool!

I think the game was a little hurt by the physics... they were a little broken at times. Often I'd be stuck in a pit with those squiggly things and unable to jump. I think the way you get stuck to the wall was a little frustrating.

Not bad on the most part though!

The hit boxes are a little tight. I think you really nailed a few things including the mood, the intensity, the building tension, and the style is terrific.

There's something wrong with jumping. I get stuck in monsters sometimes.

I like the art style of this game very much.

I really love the super simplicity of the art design here! There's something really cool about just using black and white to get everything passed along to the player, and emphasizing the shapes. Great work!

I like the effects and overall visual part of the game but I found it really hard to play. Maybe because of these bugs: Controls don't work if there is a controller(xbox one in my case) plugged in the pc; jump works not always, practically it's relly rare when it works

This is probably the best looking game I've played yet, both from the art style, intractable environment and animations, and the shader change that shows how close the laser is. Unfortunately this is also one of the most frustrating games I've played so far. The player can get stuck on platforms unable to move, they always get stuck when trying to move into walls, attempting to wall jump off walls seems almost unintentional for how inconsistent it is, and jumps in general have a chance of not resetting if you land not completely on a block. Pretty much everything about this game is fantastic, from the amount of upgrades available to the theme to the downwell-like visual style, but it just makes the basic platforming mechanics feel that much worse in comparison. Overall the game was pretty great and I would love to see what other games come out of you.

I really wanted to like this since the visual style is awesome (especially the light effect that only lets you see things near you) and the concept seems really fun, but like others have said the platforming mechanics feel kind of broken. I kept getting stuck to walls or finding myself unable to jump when I expected to be able to.

Solid controls, some sticky collision detection though, plenty of little bugs. I totally dig the art style though, if you put a bit more fine tuning in this it could be a full game one day!

Reminds me a bit of my own game in matters of running away from something, just that yours looks way better! :D

I really want to like this. The graphics have a really pleasing aesthetic, the core gameplay loop is simple to grasp but still fun, but there's one little thing that totally destroys the whole experience. The collision. I simply can't have fun with this when every single time I died objectively wasn't my fault, but because of sticking to a wall or a floor. I can't really give this a fair review, because I can't really play it due to this. Everything apart from that is great, but that alone is honestly what ruins it.

The game is cool, but sometimes i would fall in some places and the jump wouldn't work anymore.

The audio and the graphics feels really polished. I liked the shadows and how the proximity to the lasers also influenced the audio and the graphics ! I found the gameplay a bit too hard for me, especially the fact that the character would get stuck on walls while jumping. This caused me several deaths. Good job :)
