Very entertaining, like the character movements a lot. The explosions were very rewarding.

WOW
That was a blast. Great game!
nice work, I was surprised how sucked in I got. :)
Really nice work in 72hrs!!!! Some really good stuff in here and I am sure with more time and testing the controls, camera angle, and walking over different levels would be tightened up. A little challenging camera angle for my taste, but didn't stop me from slashing a few baddies. Neat idea that you do more damage the lower your health is.
Find yourself a narrow hallway and start shooting. Nice top-down shooter. The WASD was a little sticky for me but tolerable for a game jam!
LOL
I kept falling, and falling, and falling. I know it aint easy... and I can see several things you were able to do in Unity that was really inspiring (camera movements). Congrats!
Took me a few tries and I didn't get very far, but enjoyed it and some nice work on the level design.
@megabrutal - the more radiation, the worse you get. And the more 'friends' you are saving, the healing is distributed making the more friends you have the worse the healing power is. Thanks for Playing and Rating!
Nice work. controls feel good once you play for a few. Also found that an "Asteroids" strategy worked well.
Great death effect! Feels like an old school 32-bit game. nice job!!
That was a lot harder than I expected. Really neat idea and game mechanic!
I have never seen anything like that. nice!
I didn't totally 'get it'; but I appreciate the effort and time indeed!
The bunnies are taking over!!! like the font choice and the rules screen. Really cool you did this with your daughter!
Great twist on a bullethell style game, great way to include the theme! Teriffic COMPO entry no doubt!
Day Two is a whole new ballgame... lol! Really nice work, really nice models. Really impressive.
Nice Stuff! I can see the time and effort that went in here for a weekend! Thx!
Neat idea! No Plants... POWER!! :)
Really fun! I found myself oddly addicted to going after these sharks. Great enemy choice I wanted to blow them up really really bad!
Really rewarding sound and the shooting felt so powerful!!!
beautiful look and feel. Thx
Great concept. I didn't get much of a chance to watch while working on my game for LD. When I would look over at your stream I was like... WHAT?!? LOL How is that going to work!!! Well it did! It all came together well!!
@jcwelgemoed THANK YOU! I reversed and altered the gravity in water because I thought it was fun. Thanks for noticing that touch!! :)
@drauthius thanks for the play and feedback. The leaks are random, so each playthrough is very different. Depth 0 refers to the sub being back at water level. Totally agree, v2 will have some better fish animation and a visual up/down indication for the sub. Just ran out of time and had to prioritize. We worked right up until submission time. Headed over to play your game next. :) thx!
@chrissx2 , if your blowtroch is over a whole, it will add a patch. However, I have had all kinds of bugs w/ WebGL around the LD, so it is possible there's a problem playing in your browser. I have found FireFox to be the most consistently working browser so far.
@dovakla , agree, if only I had 73 hours :). I wanted the game mechanics to be as string as possible, and struggled to get enough playthroughs. Planning to reach out to some buddies next Dare and get some assistance on things like that next time.
@jupiter-hadley Thanks!
I thought I was killing it... then i realized that in addition to me removing land... it was closing in on me... lol. Good Stuff! thx!
One of my favs so far! unexpected and entertaining!!
Thanks! The learning curve is pretty drastic, but it is clear the amount of time, attention to detail and level design work you put in. thx
That was really fun. Different idea than I have seen and that made it all the better. It was still really clear to understand but was a whole different type of game play. thx!!
I felt like I was playing with art! Thanks!!
Really slick, easy to play, and this great feeling like "I WANNA IMPROVE" :)
Glad you had some music over the top it actually helped me focus. Not easy to keep everyone happy... there is a quote about that somewhere.. lol. nice job!
love the simple mechanics, the clarity of the gameplay, and the easy definition of the goals. Nice Job!
Super slick! Great job bringing a vision to life in a game. I had no idea I'd be so excited to be a square with a gun. And a gun that doesn't shoot a player or enemy... shooting to create/destory earth/ground. Really dig this entry and very inspiring to work on my level design skillz.
Good game feel, controls are easy and well described. Always nice to see it in game. I think it could benefit from some kind of points/count of kills (e.g slime deaths), always nice to have a body count.
Way better than my first game!! Nice level advancement, adding complexity and challenges. Epic Music. It didnβt totally fit the gameβ¦ for me, but it was good to listen to.
Sweet Game! The graphics and controls were nice... tho I would prefer to use my right hand to control a ship. Not sure why my arrow keys didn't work. The attention to detail and the variety of items to pick up was really entertaining. Thanks!!
Couldn't leave a rating cuz I couldn't get the controller to work. WebGL is not easy for this stuff. GL
Challenging!!! Puzzle Design is so hard. Nice Going!
I am not often confused and entertained at the same time... today, I was! I have no idea what I was doing... but I had fun doing it. The voice overs were great, the desire to upgrade... I wanted hair soooo bad.... :) made this fun to play. So much going on for such a short jam. good stuff. thx!
The SUPER JUMP is awesome. It's a lot of buttons and controls for a short game, but pulled together well. Some great level design in a short time, good sounds, good aesthetics. Congrats!
I think I made a LOT of money :) Is there a reason the trees turn brown in some places?
We had kicked around the idea of a game like this. congrats. I didn't know how to pull it off, and you managed something really interesting, entertaining, and fun. kudos!
Interesting game. I was never sure how I was doing, where I was trying to go, or what exactly my goal was... but the revealing path, the dark colors, and the sound kept me engaged and I appreciated the experience. thanks!
The hit boxes are a little tight. I think you really nailed a few things including the mood, the intensity, the building tension, and the style is terrific.
well done. very fast and the music builds the intensity well. I kept hoping I'd pick up one of the things on the floor, or I could go back for my coins... mayb version 2 :)
That was a lot of fun. I was totally bummed when the enemies could shoot through walls... I thought I was under cover... lol! Nice Work! Thanks!
fun. Would have loved a sell all, buy max button. I was unable to 'influence' not sure it that feature made it in, but I was intrigued.
Very nice. I think I encountered a few times where the stuff I needed just was not available; however, it was fun enough to just restart and keep playing. Would have liked a keyboard button for shooting in addition to the mouse button. Pro Tip, move diagonal, you move a little faster. :) Can outrun the baddies when needed. Thanks!! https://webthingee.itch.io/shipwrekt if you have time. btw, I also had the issue with the Canvas not fitting the screen size. Prob just a canvas sizing issue; if (Game Jam != bugs) your not trying hard enough. :) again nice work!!
I had a lot of fun figuring out new ways to get momentum. unlocks and upgrades kept me playing longer than I would have expected. great job.
That's a game jam right. Totally feel that "original conception of this game was far more ambitious than we ended up having time to create". SAME!!!! A music rhythm game is SO ambitious. I have made several prototypes and timing, controls, the right graphics are so challenging. There are a lot of nice elements you have here, nice work!
Nice take on a puzzle game, the storyline kept me engaged! Nice work!!
Rhythm games are very hard to do right. A really good attempt in a short period of time. Nice Work!!
Fun!
+1 for card game integration. :) http://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/gunslngr5000
Took me a few minutes to figure out what was going on, but once I figured it out it found it pretty entertaining. Thanks!
