It seems to me that using space to jump but left-right arrows to move, up-down arrows to aim is not very simple and intuitive way of moving. Good game anyway.
Does RaghuC99 have a ldjam account? Maybe you should add him as an author.
Nice game, but not my genre. So can't tell you anithing helpfull. But sometimes it seems that PC-arrows stuck also or maybe I just don't understand some mechanics of the flight.
Lovely game, but I don't see any "Running out of space". Losing territoryes doesn't seem to me as losing space.

I love this. But it disapoints me as sometimes walls let me or things get out. Espesialy when I carry that thing its to easy to push it throu the wall.
So it's nice implementation of a classic game. I have not found any bugs or problems. Just I am not fan of arcanoid games and I have not found any intresting innovations. So, sorry just average scores.
Your sound is almost perfectly working for your game. Except for sound of the hero walking. It seems a litle bit clockticking for me.
Your graphics are nice but not awesome yet. Your game is good but I'm not sure that there is something more that you can give to players due to this project. I think you should go and start a new project. I think you can create really intresting things.
Also execuse me but I can't see currency in your game. Only "your life is mana".

It seems that some times we get wrong level in adventure mode. For example I had once 0-3-1-2-3-4 and then I died.
I reakky love your animations, controls and idea. But I really hate your ambient. I think it's just too annoying and loud. May be if it was more quiet it would be less hateful.
I really think the necromancer and guards are cute. Thank you for the game. But sorry for silencing it and downvoting your audio score.
I love your game. It seems better for previous LD-theme. But it seems well designed game.
It works perfect for the idea of all of your mechanics, but there is one thing that storms me out: Your random is too random. I had about 7 "mass mind bending" on my 23rd day. And only on my 26th day I found out the mechanic of praying for second card.
And your game seems Lovecraftian for me. To be honest I love this setting.
There was a strange effect with passing through the wall near the upper left man. Or just getting "pings" between pressing buttons. And some times it does not react on stealing. It seems that effects appear both on web and windows versions. Also there was no sound on my machine. And the last point: it seems that web version runs on my machine much better than the windows version. The effects appeared less and overall it seemed more stable.
I just can't rate your game really objective. I had really bad feellings about it. So I'll try to rate it with avarage or a litle bit better. Sorry for these scores but I think you should to try to optimise it, if you want to develop this project further.
Hello, your design and sound is rather good, but I want to discuss your gameplay and its bugs that we have found playtesting your game. First of all, every one who is alive becomes a winner. Also that means that if I obey Discordya and get points by slashing out some heroes but not all I will become only one of the winners. Secondly, there are situations when Discordya asks to kill dead people. Thirdly, there was a bug with time. The timer did not stop while game was paused. After unpausing the game (both before the timer hits zero, and after) the timer can become negative without finishing the game. 2.jpg Then there were some platform stucks: if you jump to the same place where another player stands you can stuck (it's related only to the movement left-right, but anyway). Also there is a way to push somebody on highground by running into him. (It's not exactly "stucks", but it's really strange.) Also once there was occasion with a dead body of P3. It was killed in the most left and down position and then it fell down through the screen. There is strange effects with dead heroes if you press their special ability they uprise in that position for one frame and "die" again. This effect can be repeated several times (but different number of times in every situation) Sometimes there was gamecrashes without any pop-ups. Usually it happened while my friend was trying to start a new round.
So this is my buglog on your game. Sorry if it is too big, but we rather liked your game and played it much. So I had a lot time to collect things to comment.
Also I want to say that p1,p2,p3 seem rather equal and boring for me. Yes there is a net of P3, and P2 has a longer attack. But I had less fun, when I played them than playing P4, who has both mechanic of finite number of arrows and mechanic of shooting. Also there were only two of us to playtest your game and we could not play all the heroes at the same time. So usually that were duels one by one, 2 vs 2. And this was hard not to kill P2 accidently by P4. And rather often it was too easy to kill P2 by P4 on the first seconds of round.
Due to not feeling "punishments" almost at all, it was a big temptation to start with P4 and kill at least one opponents hero by first action.
And the last thing I want to scold a litle. Your loading screens with GIF of the controls are just annoying on the 10th round or latter. As far as I know the better solution for unity will be not creating that many scenes and loading them each time, but using turning on and off only some of the elements. For example, I don't understand loading menu after intro and loading credits.
I have no idea how to connect your game and LD-theme. But besides that your game is rather lovely. Excuse me, if I was too strict, but I want you to know all the aspects.
I can't get why there is no option to vote for graphics. The art is really worth getting marks. Same as sound.
The game is hard to play. And I can't get where are bugs and where are my mistakes when I fill the cups twice or can't pick up something.
Mood is the top. This depression and hate, I feell it, I trust it. I hate the money I owe to Mr.Babyface.
I don't understand the requirements for windows version. It asks me for some dll. So finally I played on my frieds machine.
It seems a litle bit unbalanced due to the progress, which does not restart on death (mine or family's).
Also I think that you need to continue the game in some way. I think it needs a bigger version. Well designed graphics, well fited sound. Almost perfect working mechanics. Your game is really good, I think you should finish it as a bigger project.
And the last thing: I don't think it fits in the theme of this LD, sorry.
@fletch. It asks me for VCRUNTIME140.dll and MSVCP140.dll (it asked twice for each of them). So it seems it's files of your engine core. And my machine is rather new, I had no time to install all of this. Sorry for disturbing you by my comment.

@fletch to be honnest I installed windows just one day before Ludum Dare. I don't remember but I think I had not updated it yet. I installed the pro version. Maybe, if you need it, latter I can tell you more about all things connected to this version. But it seems I flood your comments for now.
@sylvie. Yes the memory upgrades do exactly the thing you asked about. But unfortinatly it is rather rare upgrade.
@ant3331000, yep there are too litle number of vendors selling upgrades and we have found out that we have forgoten to place "prices" there. But that is the place of the theme. Vendors take your HP and memory as far as counting your memory as part of your life and as part of the price.
It does not seem as a good idea to make the game controled by gamepad. We did not had two x-box joypads so we could try only one guy.
Also it is not clear who won, who died. I could see only "Game over - restart".
Such a nice game by preview, such a bad feelings after all. Sorry, just average score.
There was some differences in the runs of my friend and mine. In my run music and all the other sounds were turned off just for several seconds. And in my friend's run only the music turned off up to the final.
Also my run had a long pause with a black screen but music, sounds and even movement before the graphic loaded.

As for me I did not like only bartering. There was so many clicks with my mouse. I've got tired. Maybe I loved your game even more if there was a way to enter my price with keyboard.
Nice game. But, sorry, I did not like the "blops" (sound of cup moving). It seems a litle bit weird combining with all other sounds and this lovely music.
I really envy your arts and animations. They seem so cool and I just can't get this level of arts. So envy...
As for gameplay, It seems a litle bit to simple to get through the puzzle and too short for such a lovely game. May be you should do a longer version.
It seems that ambient is a litle bit too quiet. And it's strange that you have made that difference in loudness of the sounds and music. Also as far as I know the heartbeat sounds in different way. Your sound is a litle bit too clock ticking, not heartbeating.
Also I want to say that game is not equal on different runs: sometimes I can live for 78 years withoutfighting at all, sometimes during first minutes of playing it's hard to stay alive first minutes because of two or more cancers comming from diiferent dirrections. Maybe a litle bit balance and your game will be one of the most lovely this jam.
And again as for me I did not like the background. It seems too deformed. It scaries me a bit.

It's awesome. Looking forward for longer version of the game. But I'd be happy if you add a button to turn sounds off. The sound is nice but it some times crashes while alt-tabing.
I love your game. I think there should be some more "smarter" enemies. But it's realy cool. Except the adverts before playing on game-jolt. The ads rages me (because of my weak hardware which leads to regular reloads of the game)
I do not think these genres are incompatible aspecialy as an extra games to "test your hero". Also there is not enough mood in your sounds and graphics to get scared. Some levels of platformer are rather hard so if you are a lammer as me you play this levels for a long time and forget about atmosphere of the main part at all. Maybe you should add some influence to the hero from the main world.
@yinyin there is a club near the start point just visit it to restore self-respect points(hp) and try to find another opponet. Untill you win some body and get to the magazine-office to kill the game-boss.
Also you could check the tutorial by pressing "H".
Right now there are some problems with balance, but we have to leave them untill the competion ends.
