Very nice game, I especially like the graphics and audio, and the gameplay was very fun. I really enjoyed it!
You click the windows download @lawrence, at least i think so
Oops I'll reupload when i get home
Do you have unity installed? if so, could you try to build it from source? @jaloko
Yeah @Bookworm31, I had no idea that i was supposed to include that! It'll definetly be fixed before 8pm cest.
You shoot by holding LMB over a ball, then releasing it to throw. I should have included this in the controls section @rsim
Yeah @s-ed, Thank god for that rule amirite?
Thx @jaloko :D
Yeah, The AI is kind of glitchy @dusho, didn't really have time to fix some of the bugs with it ( apart from the one where he was invisible :D ), Anyway, hope you enjoyed it!
@matthias-schedel does it say anything else? do you have a log file that you can share?
can you do "chmod 755 (foldername here)" in the console @matthias-schedel, i think it wants executable permission for the folder, though i am not sure ( i think that is the right command, but it may well just be a linux command )
i think the build is fixed now @jaloko @bookworm31, tell me if it doesn't launch
can you type "ls -l" in the terminal where the app is? @matthias-schedel
try installing this https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/Download/confirmation.aspx?id=14632 @riverpirate, i think you're missing the vc++ 2010 redistributable.
Thanks for the feedback @tuism, this is actually my first time doing Ludum Dare in 3D, and i struggled to put everything that i wanted into the game on time. I also felt the controls were a bit bad and i really wanted to change them, but i didn't really have time to do that. The music was a last-minute decision. I really want to continue work on this game, so any more feedback would be really appreciated!
The build should be completely fixed now @riverpirate, if you want to try it
Thanks so much @fugu!
Very good game! Great job!
Interesting and cool idea! Really fun game!
Very good game, especially good graphics. I like how the game fit in with the theme.
Congrats on the first Ludum Dare game, and welcome to the community. The game was pretty fun, though it lacked variations. Overall a pretty good experience, but there are improvements to make. Keep working, and just maybe you can get top 10!
Extremely cool slicing mechanic! Very great job on the game overall. The graphics were amazing and the physics were awesome! Just a quick question, how did you do the slicing? Seems really hard :P, also what game engine were you using? Just curious. Overall a great entry!
Nice job! Just curious though, is it your first time doing Ludum Dare? If so, then welcome to the community!
Overall, really strategic and a bit of fun too!
Nice game!
Great game! The visuals and music were really good! Pretty hard though :P
Very good game!
Overall a pretty good game! The graphics were a nice retro style, the box stacking worked (almost) perfectly and it was not way too difficult.
There were some things that were a bit annoying though. The lines on the screen were a bit intrusive, maybe a smaller size would have been nice? Also i had a glitch where a box fell through the ground, stopping me from progressing. Even so, it was a pretty nice game. Good luck!
(now please rate mine :D)
A good little game :) Nice retro graphics and sound, but the difficulty was a bit too high Would have been good to be able to control with mouse and hold space to shoot continuously, Otherwise great!
Nice game! the graphics were good, and the gameplay was fun.
Very cool game! The graphics were really good and i liked the way the labyrinth moved. It was just a tad too hard for me :P
Nice game, although I think the game was a bit too hard, but that's probably because I'm spending all of my scrap at the beginning of each level :D, Overall a pretty solid entry!
Cool art, although I didn't understand because of the russian.
Very cool take on the theme! Also I liked the art, and the sound was a nice touch. However I think that the upgrading process is way too tedious, and kind of boring. If the circles appeared faster and moved around I think it would be a pretty solid mechanic.
I absolutely loved the art! The gameplay was fun, the sound was good, overall a really good game!
Absolutely love it! Reminds me of a game I saw on the r/Unity3D subreddit. Really nice visuals, the puzzle design was spot on, all in all a really great game!!
Nice game! The graphics were super cool, and my heart raced when I picked up the creature! Awesome work!
@vknauss What specs does your computer have? Might be an old GPU, not sure how our shaders interact with older hardware
@phi Hmm, strange. What GPU does your computer have?
@phi Ahh, that's probably why then. The pink thing is the Unity error shader, and I'm guessing that your GPU sadly doesn't support some of the features that we take advantage of.
Unfortunately, it crashed for me as soon as I reached depth 1. No logs, no exception window, just died. Looks like a cool game, the graphics are simple yet effective. Hit me up if you want crash details and I'll try hooking a debugger up to it. Look forward to playing once it's fixed!
Heyo, congrats on your first game! Really well done overall, although for pixel art you usually set the filter mode to "Point" in the texture import settings. The music could've been a bit longer, and an end screen would be a nice touch, but otherwise, a really nice game! Good job!
Congrats on your first game! Really well done overall, keep going!
