Quite a fun game with an intresting gameloop. I found that the soul essance upgrades were really good and almost necessary to progress. a few of the weapons didnt function very well such as the multishot which dealt very low damage for the cost. Sometimes the game wouldnt let me cast even though I had ample life essance left maybe there was a failsafe to not kill yourself but it should have been indicated in the UI if that was the case. The music fit your weird church theme very well. 9/10 would play for few hours if it had more enemy variety.

It looks good, the gameplay is good and the music is **really** fitting, but it always crashes after made with Unity logo for some reason. Tried on another PC, it worked there so all I'd say is that hit and death sound effects don't really fit and maybe some indicator for upgrades could be shown, when you can open it yourself, instead of automatically pausing and showing it. Also, there's no info here or on itch about the game, so that could be added too.

This game was great! The graphics and the feedback were really good! But the idea wasn't so innovative for me (I assume it was inspired by Vampire Survivor?). Still, you got me with that game since I'm a huge fan of that kind of games were I can decide which kind of upgrade I want!

Excellent! The mood and graphics and sound design were amazing. I didn't quite grasp what the lore/story was but otherwise this is a fantastic jam game.

I really enjoyed this! Loved the atmosphere, everything looked great. Upgrades are very generous and skew the game in the player's favor very quickly,and it'd be nice to see some more enemy variance. With some tweaking I think you have something really fun here!

This game is insanely good, the level of detail and mechanics you've implemented is masterful. I only wish there was a less steep difficulty curve.

This was really good, enjoyed all the upgrades, felt good to constantly receive them. Did not understand why I was losing all the HP but got to slaughter a lot of angels with just the 4 turrets. Good music, ambience.

I love the grapichs and the mood! I didn't get very far bit i like the amount of upgrades there are. One of the best i played so far!

That was awesome. I really like the audio design. The upgrade window always seemed to pop up right when I started to attack which was unexpected and broke the flow. Otherwise an excellent entry.

this is ridiculously polished for a gamejam game. Graphics, audio, mood were all completely fantastic.

I found the font slightly difficult to read.

I also found that the angel's melee attacks dealt far too much damage. I wasn't able to survive long enough to really have a good run here, the damage dealt + the constant sapping of my health to the entity far outweighed what I received from enemy kills.

Would have been more fun if some of the values were tweaked a bit. But this was an outstanding entry and you should be very proud!
