I think I had a bug were people on fire wer also behaving like rockets. the idea, colours, and look are pretty neat anyway.
@pdotjpg good call. those almost made it in. A shame since our musician did an amazing job! Thank you and everybody else for the sharp feedback. This is utterly motivating.
@flaterectomy It really shouldn't take long, a few minutes top.You are either just way too good at the game or something bugged out on you.
@flaterectomy that adds up. we found some odd behaviour and fps drops in our web version that just dont exist in the client. Those seem to depend on the browser used as well.
Downloading the win version gave me an obscure warning so I shied away from it and went for the web one. This is fun, pretty to look at (especially the landscape)and worked well enough, albeit a bit laggy. I made it to wave 10 and felt good about it! The only thing I was wishing for was a pause function to get a coffee before watching the show some more.

A straight forward idea and execution and great in all its parts. The balancing/pacing is also quite spot on which I really enjoyed.
hey HEY everybody play this one! Its jolly great. I wish there was more content which is the best criticism to have I guess.
Just looking over the games Ive played before voting ends and this was one of the first I thought of - great stuff

looks quite interesting but I shied away from the mediafire download which Im not familiar with.Im not sure how this works (1st ludumDare for me) but can you offer an alternative? as Im writing this nobody has rated this and thats my only explanation
@m-dam now it requires an account which Im reluctant to get .. hope thats just a me-problem btw. could be
uhh I liked this. The theme is a bit weak and near the end the soundtrack gets a bit loud but this is really moody and nicely surreal stuff. There are many details I like, like the keys floating around the character or just how cut-worthy the infestation is just to name 2 off the top of my head. I wrestled a lot with unity and you got quite a lot done. Sound design is also quite effective oh and I really appreciate the controller support!
Im just giving the games I found most interesting a look and this sure was one of em.

I think I had a gun run there with many turrets, a lot of fun in general and no big issue with the frame rate. The music and the level really worked for me.
great stuff! Im happy I played this one just in time before voting ended. Music, gameplay, look and pace, it all comes together jolly well
nice art
I didnt get very far I think but this was fun and has a great presentation
hard, very hard or Im slow .. very slow. the tutorial is really nice, takes a few seconds from launching the game to playing it
Im just giving the games I found most memorable another look. this sure was one of em. concept and look really worked for me
uhh I like the ship and its controls and the look in general. I wish there was a map or hole indicator tho since I got lost a few times
Im just looking over the games Ive played before voting ends and this was one of the first I thought of. Im a bit surprised to see so few ratings. I genuinely enjoyed this one
the blocky assets and pleasant colours really work out and the game is fun while having some depth. I wish wall were a bit more durable, maybe a pause button but this is a great jam title!

Nice try citizens. My strategy of too many trees and way too many cops has worked out and my global rule shall be never ending! A fun entry that plays very pleasantly
I couldnt move forward somehow. anyway nice game. I really like the player model
great idea, great execution - bravo!
Ive seen a few concepts like this one but I quite like this setup of upgrades as well as the horizontal screen. Most of my thoughts have been said before but I do think something hit my planet off screen in my last run. Also, just a thought, making the asteroids slower but not move perfectly towards the gunfire is an option for balancing this making aiming and especially the projectile speed a larger factor. Either way, nice game!
nice concept. I also realized it helps to look at the symbols on the cards and not blindly chug everything - just like in real life!
great game, lovely look, memorable music but a block button away from being playable with my gamepad. fun times either way
Im just giving the games I enjoyed the most another look - congratulations! this is definitely one of the most memorable ones Ive played
I really enjoyed this. The gameplay is quite satisfying and looks good. everything seems quite smooth and polished for a jam entry except level ups which I often just clicked randomly on accident and a bug with teh difficulty when restarting (I think). ´Great stuff!
Im just revisiting the games I found most memorable. this is one of them. I too can easily see this being turned into a full game
solid concept and great execution. I dont think Ive seen a colour design credit before but it absolutely makes sense here. Im not sure about the E and S keys being used but all in all this is one of the best LD50 games Ive played so far.
Im just looking at the games I found most memorable. this is definitely one of em so again, congratulations
Doesnt seem finished but whats in looks good especially the zeppelin which controls nicely too
I liked this a lot. solid writing is a rare treat in games and being funny at it is like magic to me.
lovely but I cant shake the feeling that my decisions arent all that impactful, a deeply felt hit to my bureaucratic heart and paper pusher soul .. jokes aside this is really polished for a jam. Its round and offers all sorts of ways to be expanded. maybe go on developing this one
