This made me very uneasy. A very neat and unsettling experience! Between the visuals and sound, the ambience is spot on. Good work!

This made me very uneasy. A very neat and unsettling experience! Between the visuals and sound, the ambience is spot on. Good work!
This had a great mood to it. The audio was fantastic and same with the graphics. Great work on getting that "spooky" feeling!
For half a minute I thought it was 2D game and couldnt understand controls xD I really enjoyed the graphics. Simple, fast, but really enjoyable. Fun concept.
love the look but I just die - help!
Really cool idea! Camera made me feel a bit sick though xD Like the atmosphere.
Really like the atmosphere and mood here. The ambient sounds are great and the pixelated, low render distance, graphical style works well to enhance the atmosphere. Great use of lighting to guide the player.
All the horror game tricks done right. Audio design was on point. The moth particle on the street light was so unnecessarily detailed and I love it.
A little confused how the fog works, cuz I can see far lights at the corner of the screen so its an FOV thing?
Also I was expecting wing fluttering sounds at the end but got slushing. Equally unnerving. Man I hate insects.
Super atmospheric! the fuckin moth scared me lmao. Love this and the pixelated but 3D art style is icredibel. Thought it was very tongue and cheek that we walk towards the light, like a moth :P
Love the visuals!
Visuals were top notch!
Oooh, that's good! The moth is scary.
Well. I shouldn't have played this while sitting in a dark room on my own.
I LOVE the graphics. I LOVE the use of light. I LOVE the sound design. I can't think of any meaningful criticisms. It was a clear, clean idea that was executed very well.
Great job!
Quite an eerie experience honestly. audio made the game feel scary especially the car part. props for a nice itcio page
its so creepy)
Super spookeh, loved it. :D
Well done overall, I have no criticisms other than a bit of a nudge that you can use wasd to walk around. =)
It simply looks amazing. Really well done game.
I would describe this more as an experience than a game. And I mean that in a good way!
Very solid atmosphere and mood. I could see this becoming a full game if you keep working on this after the jam.
I don't want to repeat all the other comments here, but you give me no choice. This game is short, but there is so much precision put in it actually that I don't mind at all.
Really like the pixel-art in 3D, but what stands out the most are definitely the SFX and ambience. You gave this a true horror vibe and the atmosphere is made just perfectly.
This was delightful! Sound scaping you have in was really done well and I love the 3D pixel art. Atmosphere was great, though obviously this is a bit light on gameplay. But I it does everything else so right with such detail I had to play it a couple times just to take it in. Would love to see this expanded on!
This was actually impressive. Not what I expected, but in a good way. It felt nice to play, clean and with a clear sense of what it wanted to do. (On a side note, the moths around the lamp makes me want to stay there expecting. Am I one of them?)
This game has a really nice mood to it, I won't spoil what happens for others but the phone part and what happens afterwards was very well done. Great work!
This game looks so nice, I love games that use pixel shaders in 3D. Its very dark but that just add to how creepy the game is. Not seen any other game so far that uses this style of graphics in such a good way.
Good job!
The atmosphere is so good. One of the best submissions in mood and sound.
I liked it a lot, the atmosphere was great!
I'm a wimp and was too scared to finish this game but the visuals were incredible, I've never played a game that uses that art style so it's really impressive to see something truly unique that looks really nice! I like that you don't tell the player anything as well but there's just enough to work out where to go and what to do. Maybe one day I will pluck up the courage to continue further as this is really awesome :D
I really like the use of the far away scenes and the pixilation filter, good way at obscuring far away details. Having them all be light sources and playing with the idea of insects at night time to move between story elements, good job. Lots of well done atmosphere.
Man this game was a RIDE, considering how short it is. I was confused, then intrigued, then scared s***less. Really great job at creating a mood!
hermoso juego, me encantó la ambientación, el sonido y el estilo. 10/10
Love the mood in this game! Amazing work!
Like everyone else said, this game did a great job of capturing a specific mood! You did a great job of creating an experience that was engaging and complete, while also staying within the scope of what's possible to complete in a 48 hour game jam.
This is actually one of the best games i've played this ludum dare, even though it's short, it's such a nice and immersive experience. Incredible job
Everything is great in this game! The graphics hide something from us, the sounds emphasize the atmosphere, and you just walk into the light... You are the moth...
I really liked the atmosphere, visuals and audio fit together. Well done!
Nice! very cool short
Wow, thats really surprise me. And i love the art style. Nice job!!
Very cool atmosphere, I noped out after the phone call, but I don't do well with horror games :P Great work!
Fantastic entry, Loved the art and the over-all mood of the game. You should 100% explore where you can take these kind of games! Really good job!
I'm not a big fan of horror overall, but i absolutely love the atmosphere you set here, the graphic style is just amazing, i love these psx visuals, and the 2d-y look with the particles was the icing on the cake. Audio design was also on point, just amazing. And the way you didn't even let us see the way, just the focal light points in the distance and made us walk there? Brilliant, absolutely brilliant, using this on a bit of a longer more complex game would be an absolute homerun in my humble opinion, absolutely amazing entry, congrats!
Impresive mood, i was hoocked in an instant with the graphics, stayed for the sound and mistery. Even if the experience was short, I felt a bit of fear so... in 1 minute you couldn't ask for more. Amazing work.
I was scared to move to each of the points of light for fear of what lurked in the dark. This game has a wonderfully eerie atmosphere that gives you a sense of foreboding with every step. Well done.
Wow great, this is unlike anything I've seen before ! Suspenseful atmosphere and great pixel rendering for a very interesting result. Pretty scary stuff. Good job !
Not into horror games, but that one felt creepy good enough, enen being so short) great graphics too)
Similar to some other comments here, I can't handle horror very well and was so nervous that you were gonna hit me with a jump scare lol. Definitely made me feel things, good storytelling and setting the atmosphere. You get a 5 in mood from me!
OMG that game is scary dark :D Nice job
From the sound design, isolted lighting and pixelated shallow depth of field, this game was a great experience. Your ability to capture cinematic horror and introduce it into a game is masterful.
@beefsock Amazing mood on this one. Having the player move from lit area to lit area (like a moth) was a very clever and minimalistic storytelling mechanic. Loved the retro low-res graphics. Did you use a special shade to achieve this, or is the output resolution of the game just set really low? Really fun ending, too. I played through it several times. I may consider making a shorter game in the future, I think it lends itself really well to game jams. As some others have said, usually for things to be considered a "game" there must be rules and victory/loss conditions which this seems to lack, but overall a very cool experience. Excellent entry!
