Good game. Did crash on me though as I was attempting to solve the potato gun reload mystery.

Never would have thought of a beat 'em up but it works. The blend of 2D and 3D is fairly well exectued and the gameplay is surprisingly fun, albeit repititious. Would have liked to see a less forgiving block. I can block forever and time my hits with the bat to almost completely avoid damage.
Characters are in a super fun style! I would have loved to see them textured. Mechanics are relatively smooth. Great work over all.
Cute little layered crafting game! As many people have already stated, the game falls short due to the inability to batch buy/sell/craft. Clicking a bunch of times is repetitive and painstaking. However the art is quirky and the music helps distract from the repetitive gameplay.
Great little top down beat em up. Would have liked the walls to be more useful. I ended up placing them just to see the hit states when I destroyed them.
@itsdanidre Sorry, meant useable. They were hard to place correctly. Great tool for funneling enemies though!
Beautiful little game with charming pixel art. It felt like it ended as soon as it gained momentum, but thats common with LD games, so no loss there. Well done!
I have no words, but it seems you had enough for the both of us. Absolutely crushed it. Pushes the boundaries of what a game can be, redefining it as interactive poetry. This tip toe through the tulips, or daisies, as the case may be, will captivate you with every lumbering step.
@velvetlobster Yeah the music is super annoying, but I decided to do it myself instead of free assets. Probably a mistake in hindsight considering the length of gameplay. Im no musician LOL
@itsdanidre Undeath was out super secret feature we implemented. Definitely not a bug ;)
@mharring both of these issues we noticed early on but did not have time to fix before submission. Excellent feedback regarding that! We are working on a post jam version that addresses these issues.
Great start here! I can see this turning into something great with some polish. The collection system was a bit muttled. Hard to know where I stand with resources and what I need to gather to create the balloons. I really liked the walk cycle and move states.
Nice little limited platformer! Easy to understand and has a full game loop, art is simple but cohesive.
Exceptional beautiful. Wildy unforgiving. The portion of the game in which you get the hunger bar was extremely difficult, but I dont often play platformers so I may be the minority there. I had to give up after giving back the glove, as I could not find a way to proceed home.
"Ludum Dare version ends here" may be the worst news I have recieved all day. I need to know what happens next! Great work. Fun stealth platformer with excellent pixel graphics. Great work.
I love this concept! A turn based plant growth sim is a great idea. Seem like it uses some sort of game of life algorithm for weed growth? It is very relaxing at the beginning, although eventually it became tedious to check the state of every plant.
I love the loop! it reminds me of the mobile game Reign. Simple yet effective. Great work on this one.
Great visual aesthetic! Took me 8 nights to find my first pack of seeds, planted it, and then my plant was immediately destroyed. Played for about 20 minutes but never got lucky enough to grow an ammo plant. Great concept, but very difficult, and not very forgiving, or rewarding.
Simple yet satisfying platformer. It was the perfect difficulty to keep me moving until the end. The wave at the end made it all worth it.
Great start. Cute art and cohesive aesthetic. Would love to see this game fleshed out to its full potential.
I played this game for way too long. Very good idea, even better execution. The serenity caught me so offguard. It reminded me of Flower (2009).
Not much to play, but what is here is promising. I like that you can feel the offroad drift in the movement. I also love the mouth sounds of the engine hahaha
Great entry! I love the VO work, but it was quite repetitive. The "flapping" felt good and the slapping was very forgiving which was nice because unless you have a high dpi on the mouse, it can be difficult to flick to kill the enemies.
The atmosphere of this game is great. would have loved to see what that monster in the depths looks like but I couldn't find it :P
Great atmosphere. I spent a ton of time just wandering. I only wish there was more audio.
I was made immediately sad by this game, so well done there. it seems like you put a ton of thought into balancing the stats which is always difficult in 72 hours! Overall a great submission.
This concept would kill it as a mobile game. Super simple, intuitive and polish. What else can you even hope for out of a game jam? 10/10 would die to spikes again.
You nailed it @Simpathey!!! Great entry. Play area is larger than the browser window so I had to full screen to run properly, but I still enjoyed it!
Decent game programmatically. TY for opting out of graphics. I see too many people opting in with premade assets. This definitely makes no sense with the theme. Seems more suited for LD47's theme, but well done on your first jam game! as others have mentioned, it reminds me of GTA 1's car controls.
Really smart mix of gameplay mechanics in this game. It blends well, and the simple pixel aesthetic harkens back to old games like Oregon trail and Might and Magic. Hits you right in the nostalgia button.
Hilarious game! Great references to many classic italian mob movies and tv shows. You can never have enough tracksuits in your inventory, thats for sure.
@nurav
> Wow!! Really like the game concept, and the execution is great! My only critisism is that I don’t know if it just me or dont;t get something, but it seems like digging straight down has to risk and will allow you to keep scoring for ever. Other then that, It looks great!
TY so much for the feedback! We made the game so that the only thing that really matters in the end is your grand total, so drilling straight down it would take a long time to beat even simple scores you can achieve by moving about. We did have unbreakable blocks in the begininning, but removed them because during playtesting we found that it was easy to get stuck. With no jump and no lose condition when you get stuck, we decided to remove them. If we had more time we would probably put them back in and create a lose condition for getting stuck or just give you a jump. From watching playtests, it seems that having a jump is the most requested feature.
@crychair
> Wish I could see my score between runs, to see if im getting better. A little hard to calc quickly. Unusure of the balance as I could get to the bottom fairly fast digging straight down.(Rainimg blocks at the start might help with this initially.) ADD SOME PICTURES YOU HAVE GREAT ART!
The score summary screen was a super last minute addition so we admittedly had very little time to work through the design of that. If we did an update that would definitely be something to discuss. Great suggestion with the art! I've added some screenshots :)
@cassio-eduardo
> In Mr. Driller they had the air capsules as a secondary mechanic and it worked well, maybe something similar should be implemented.
We agree 100% with this sentiment. Had we had more time, we definitely would have incentivised the player to trasverse the "levels" a bit more. Thanks do much for the feedback! We will definitely have to check out how you chose to approach it.
Hilarious take on the idea of going "deeper and deeper". Prompt text was a bit small for me... and I could cheese it with just mumbling super low but it was still great!
Super funny! I was really awful at it at first but got the hand of the controls fairly quickly. QWOP style flight was surprisingly fun to play.
Stunning art, as usual. Killer music. Much of my tiny nitpicks about the mechanics and gameplay have already been voiced so no need to beat a dead horse. This game is a phenomenal jam entry and one I feel should be at the top of everyone's list for a playthrough.
@100th-coin Yeah we should have been more clear about that on the jam page. You can fullscreen using Alt + Enter! Ty for playing though!
Interesting take on solitaire. I see the correlation you were going for with the theme but completed "stacks" seems like a win in my book hahah
