Such a cool game, I'm a huge fan of automation games and to see one in a game jam is awesome, especially in 3D. Its always hard to pull off these types of games due to how technical they can be so I'm quite impressed good job!
I like the sepia visuals and how it looks old, really fits with the rest of the game. The animations are also pretty neat!
Cool game, kinda reminds of how bad I am at keeping my plants alive and eventually they wither aswell :smiley:
I like the satisfying sound effects and the sound of squashing bugs

Very cool game, even though it 2D it has depth to it and it works so well. I see what you mean when you said its similar to our game. The droid is so cute and the pixel animations are spot on, also the fact the ship gets dynamically destroyed is amazing.

Cool game, kinda hard but then again I've never been great a strategy games :smile:
Visually the game looks nice, I like the lighting and the low poly art look.
I struggled to find out how to put out fires, turns out I missed the bucket but then was unsure how to get water. its then I noticed a puddle and you can also go right to another area. Maybe the player onboarding can be improved with a tutorial or something?
Once I figured out how to play I quite enjoyed running about trying to stop the fires.

Love the cute face on the volcano, good use of billboard sprites there!
The music is amazing and adds to the game although I feel the game is too easy as you can just add one item to the volcano and it will reset the timer. Maybe another way is to have it accumulate over time, so the more unhappy the volcano is the more object it requires to go back to normal?
I was also able to fall into the volcano myself and was not able to reset myself.
Apart from that its a cool game and I like how all the objects roll together :)

I like that the dodo is so oblivious that you need to watch every single step and make sure it doesn't die.

I love the art style, this is one of the more unique entries I have seen. Kinda confusing at first to what you're meant to do but still a cool concept
Cool game, I love the pixel shader look. I need to learn how to do that myself!
Although the game runs well it was using 98-100% of my RTX 3090, so something seems off there. I only survived 52 on my first go. I kinda was hoping the plane would see my flare but it just flew straight past it. I think an improvement would be to give the player some more feedback to how hungry or dehydrated, even some as simple blurred vision or something.

Brings me back to the days I will spend hours on BTD, I think one improvement can be a visual to display the flow of the enemies. Although it is quite easy to figure this out so not a huge concern. Another improvement could be allowing you to place people down before the round starts?

Wow this is amazing, such a simple concept but the fact you've gone 3D and smashed it is awesome!. The environment is spot on and adds to the whole aesthetic of the game.

I think an improvement to make is fully support the keyboard or a controller. Like bind the objects to build with 1,2,3, space to launch and backspace to delete maybe?
Other than that I enjoyed playing good work

Not sure if its just me being a bad typer but I feel the blink timer can be increased as I did struggle to fight multiple monster at once and also keep my eyes open.
I love the backgrounds and music, really adds to the mood of the game!

@snory Thanks for your feedback, I do agree the AI can be improved by having it GOAP especially for the boss as you mentioned. It is something that could be considered for the next game jam :slight_smile:

One of the things that we need to spend more time on is balancing the game, it does get harder on later shifts with more tasks and reduced cooldowns between them but it needs a lot of tweaking to make it just right.

@jamieok Thanks for the feedback, when play testing people also said it was hard to see the player. We kinda forgot to act on that part :/
I had fun playing it I like how all the soldiers move together. I found the controls a bit tricky to get use to but once I figured it out it was fun to play.
Depending how technical you wanted to go I would recommend to take a look at flocking algorithms which are quite simple to implement as its only three basic rules: Separation/Alignment/Cohesion. That could improve how the soldiers walk together as I noticed they can overlap each other. It may also be cool for the zombies to flock as horde with that method

Such a cool game, You can tell how much work went into the mood and overall atmosphere of the game! When O first saw it I didn't know it was a trivia game but its such a good concept of being in hell and having to answer trivia questions :smile:
It is a challenging game and maybe with some more time could be tweaked to be more fair for the player but overall its a neat concept and game
