Great art! Really like the pixel art in this. Now I just need to get rid of this annoying clown that is trying to talk to me. ;)

Great art! Really like the pixel art in this. Now I just need to get rid of this annoying clown that is trying to talk to me. ;)
Nice art style. The game is really polished and the gameplay is also super fluid. Interesting idea to make the controls like this but very intuitive if you're getting used to it.
I love the art style but i didnt got the game concept to be honest.
Aww this game is super cute! The story / theme idea is fun and unique. I had a good but stressful time avoiding the weird little clown XD I LOVE the art, it is very clean, great use of the viewpoint. The little effects for objects were fun to discover. Great character designs and animations, loved the lil blushing guy at the end of my playthrough. The sounds and music are great too! The alarm really helped me get away from partygoers when I wasn't paying attention XD The level design feels very smooth. Would totally play a larger version of this game where you hang out in a mansion and avoid lots of people. Lil safe quiet spots as save points would be a cozy addition perhaps if it was expanded with different levels or events.
I think some small critiques might be: objects are a little hard to click, maybe being able to hover over/click the whole object when you are near it would be good. Great work to the whole team!
Nice pixel art and animation. Had fun playing.
That was a fun experience. Definitely felt pretty unique and was a neat approach to the theme. Overall great work :)
I love the art style. It's also a very nice idea to be unknowable and don't want to be seen. I also like the ending and that it's positive even though you inevitably lost. To make the game more playable, maybe add keyboard controls. It wasn't that nice having to click every step. But this movement would work great on mobile, maybe if you finish the game you could port it over :)
Fun and interesting take on the theme. To me its still not really clear what the distraction with the objects is actually doing.
This was really neat! Graphics style and animations were really on point, though interactions and what I was doing took a few plays to really click. Probably lack of feedback for what interactions affect what people is my only critique. Loved everything else about it.
Quite intriguing turn on the theme, but I really like the choice of having a "feel good" game over, brings a good mood ! Also the graphics are great !! super cute
I enjoyed the art and audio, but like others said, I found the goal to be a bit mysterious (and not necessarily in the good way). Some extra feedback could have also helped me know if I was doing good or bad.
Lovely art, enjoyed the mood and running around interacting with things while trying to escape the other characters. But it would have been even more fun if it used arrow keys instead of the mouse ;-)
I love the art style, this is one of the more unique entries I have seen. Kinda confusing at first to what you're meant to do but still a cool concept
Really nice art! The game looked great and the movement worked well. Unfortunately I wasn't really sure what I was supposed to do!
I love the art and the sounds and music are nice too! I found the gameplay a little confusing, would have liked some more info/instructions. Really like the little note and interactables too. I wonder what the story behind the main character is.
Good job guys!
I think that the message and the idea are interesting, however I feel like the game area is a bit too small and the interactions are not clear as in, what do they do? Do they all serve the same function as the first one?. Other than that, the art is really charming and I loved the character design!
Hey! I made a new friend!
Pros:
- Love the pixel art shown here - Great character design - Funky animations - Quite interesting gameplay mechanic* - A fresh take on the theme - Music is a plus - 'Spotting range' and 'Pathing' variations
Cons:
- Wish there was more to the interactions with objects etc. Not sure what they kinda do (except the one distracting) - *While the gameplay and mechanics are definitely something else, they get to be quite confusing at the beggining - I wish there was arrow controls. But I understand the limitations + that would be OP for the player I believe
A great entry nontheless. Good job!
the animations are great, really cool stealth and pathfinding used mechanics used in the game. The music I wasnt fond but it actually start to grow on me. Great job!
A fun concept and nice pixel art.
I really enjoyed old school Sega-like vibes but gameplay is something that needs to be worked on for sure. It's a bit confusing and even when you figure out the interface there's not enough feedback/impact on the game. Not bad entry nevertheless!
I love the art style and sounds for this game, the movement system was really interesting as well. The only opportunistic feedback I have is that there isn't really any input feedback? I'd like to know that clicking on something might do something beyond the icon appearing, pehaps making the icon change to show that you are going to click on it would solve that. Otherwise its a great game :)
A really nice game! Absolutely love the way it looks. Arrows to control the character would be cool, but it's pretty much ok as it is. Great submission! Good Luck!🐰
Very cute! Really liked the art, and the little talking sound effects were nice. I didn't know exactly how the distractions contributed and I wasn't sure how to delay it longer. The resulting screen is cute. Animations were also very smooth.
Very cute game! The art and animations were very well done and had a lot of personality. Even though the play space isn’t that big you definitely get a great sense of the world and all the characters made me curious to learn more about them (which I guess is the opposite of what the unknowable wants!) I also think you guys picked good colors and indicators to let the player quickly know what they’re supposed to do, where they want to go, and what’s dangerous.
I agree with previous commentators that I was wishing for keyboard controls halfway through the gameplay and found the click movement to be fatiguing. Though if there were ways to make the click movement more enjoyable, I think that’d also be a nice improvement. Like if interacting with certain objects let you move more spaces or move in different ways (e.g. after interacting with object 1 maybe you are now forced to jump to some tile y spaces away from you). I think stuff like that could also keep the gameplay fresh as you’d have to find new ways to travel which is the bulk of the strategy right now.
Overall I think this game was a great short & sweet entry that did a good job presenting a spooky yet cozy vibe. Nice job!
Very original idea, and the art style is adorable. Overall pretty well made but can be a bit confusing and difficult. Definitely room to improve gameplay-wise with the movement and how achievable the goal is, but still very much enjoyable. Good job! <3
