Visually, the game is coherent. The music fits well. The controls are easy to understand. Unfortunately, I am much too slow. By chance I manage the first night. Already after the first night all doors are open and have to be rebarricaded. A little more time would be great. Especially in the beginning.
Very interesting concept but unsightly
Oh this game is great fits the theme perfectly, love the art and animations, music is alright. You created a great mood, it feels like an old 50s monster movie. Replayed it a few times but never got more than 3 days, I like how every playthrough you can try a different strategy and just when I thought the game had no humor I saw the lego trap animations, 5/5 humor.

incredibly well fitting graphics. Bold style choice that works. One day is over a bit quick though. But overall a fitting idea for the theme

I like the sepia visuals and how it looks old, really fits with the rest of the game. The animations are also pretty neat!
Very good game! I thought the idea was very good and the theme of the Jam was well implemented. It is very fun to see and hear especially the music when the character transforms. The art generates an excellent atmosphere, I think it would only improve the position of the camera or that it can be rotated to make the gameplay better. great job!!
The game is really cool but not really fun. btw the idea and the theme are really good and the graphic are wow

Wow. Really good concept and great submission. I think the visuals and the audio are great, and it plays pretty well.
A minor suggestion for improvement is that the UI could be a bit clearer. I think this could be done without breaking from the current art style, but given the time constraints are an important feature, the UI for that element should be a bit more prominent.
But thanks for the submission, I enjoyed it!

Great game, lost on the first night 😅. Amazing artwork.
Great game made it 6 days, I like that after a few nights you really notice how hard the fight ahead will be.
Art is great and the sound track fits well.
Great job managing to create this in a jam!
This was great! Managed to make it to 8 days. I really liked the structure of using destroyed pieces as boards, and placing them in advance to speed up the prep process. Loved the inclusion of legos as a persistent trap, I think more persistent options and a way to generate more resources would really up the overall potential. Great game!

@goudcode haha yeah we wanted to make a classic horror game with that classic "difficulty is your tutorial" :P happy to hear you liked the art!

@njs that is a great point, if we were to make some additions, a countdown UI element would definitely be top of the list!

@escarpoulpe appreciate the feedback, if you have any suggestions for what could improve the gameplay, we'd love to hear it!

@emaigualmc2-art WOW Thank you so much! looking back I think we could have made some layout changes to allow for more visibility, or perhaps a transparency of the walls as you enter rooms. Thanks for the feedback!

@math1369 maybe in the future we could implement a difficulty setting, to allow for more custom lengths of day/night

@cobgoblin hahaha glad you managed to find that one :P designing the traps was definitely a really fun part of the process

Ehehehe very fun to play. Instant immersion in the game - I felt very sorry for the main character and because of that, wanted to help him at all costs. Definitely delay the inevitable :D Also the music makes the right mood. Good job!

Awesome idea! Like your animations, ++ for sense of anxiety! Was able to delay the Beast by 5 days Praise the atmosphere! Good luck!
I *loved* the direction you went with this. I did struggle with execution though, some more time and smoother interactions with items would be appreciated if this game goes on. That being said, it's a really cool concept and making such an externally viewed area easily controlled is really really challenging - especially for a game jam so this is incredible. I'd love to see something like this done more thoroughly, with more time during the day/month and proper setup being possible.
Super cool.

Very nice visuals and a cool idea, but it just seems like perhaps you ran out of time? It's just not that fun to play and the controls are a bit clunky. Think it needed more play testing, the controls weren't consistent in their behaviour. Great idea, and visually - amazing. Just a little more focus on gameplay would have done the job nicely.

@myazuid the goal was to make it challenging, but it definitely could benefit from a bit more legibility. Thank you so much for playing!

The idea is amazing. I feel like it could be expanded into a fuller game. Navigating the house is a bit confusing due to the diagonal camera. It is really fun to try and stop yourself from escaping. I stumbled across a glitch under the first floor stairs where I was able to get the character stuck in the stairs, making the game very easy. I really liked this game, probably one of my favorites.
Great mood, and I liked the concept and art, but I could only get past the first night, so I think some more time would have been good. Also while the colour sceme and camera angle added to the mood it did make it a little hard to play sometimes, at least on my monitor

Cool idea, but hard to play, or im just slow. I like the visuals and mechanics, i would like to see a future version with more develepment time.
Fun game, and very on theme, and looks really nice! really good submission
I played it through a few times, and I think I've now cheesed the game because I'm on day 16 and I've found a way to survive indefinitely (by putting the lego bricks in middle-floor doorway and then running up to the attic - he tip toes so slowly round the door frame that most of the night is gone before he eventually gets through) - not so inevitable any more!

@zappablamma Wouldn't consider that cheese! Just smart placement. 16 days is definitely the highest score we've seen yet!

@baconinvader totally fair! we wanted to make it classic difficulty, but perhaps a difficulty setting would be helpful

Very cool take on the theme, the gameplay loop works well and could serve as a base to something more! I felt like the interaction with items was wierd at times and had a hard time placing them but otherwise congrats on the entry!

Super interesting game, you had a lot of systems that have a ton of potential! I feel you don't allow the player to use and explore them though to their fullest potential.
The short time leaves no room for experimenting, and the lack of material meant I was pretty much down to boards by day 2. I think with longer time windows and more objects available for the player to use, this game will be a TON of fun!!
I would love to tactically make a route of traps, furniture, etc instead of just rushing to place every furniture item in the house in front of the door as fast as possible.
I really like the idea. the gameplay seemed unbalanced and could benefit from some more mechanics. The music is good and the visuals are fantastic!
very original, the ambiance and the art is well done but i would not play it for too long. 7/10

Cheers for including the WebGL build!
Holy crap, that was awesome!
Amazing art direction and style, really digging it.
I also love the concept of you being the monster and needing to stop yourself!
Great time!
loved the concept. I wish there was difficulty increase or something to mix up the gameplay. Or maybe some kind of crafting mechanic that waranted exploration. Nice job on the visuals and mood though, that part was nailed.
The art and 3d models are incredible! I loved the animations! Especially the sneaking over legos, or stepping on a rake. Absolutely great attention to detail. Marvelous work.

Cool game! I like the art and audio. Objectives are clear and you really want to help the poor man.
But the controls could be better. I don't understand why sometimes I can set an obstacle and sometimes not. I needed to go further from a doorway to be able close it. Also it would be great to have a clear indication of time rest to be human/werewolf.
Took a few tries to get the mechanics down.
I think I agree with some earlier comments on mechanical legibility.
The art style is absolutely amazing, and helped set the mood extremely well.
Nice work!
Very nice game, The graphics, the music and your take on the theme are all great. I must complain about the night falling without any warning which can be very punishing and kill your run. But otherwise, this is a very nice game.
Good job on your submission.
This caught my eye immediately. I think this was a pretty creative take on the theme. Having to bar yourself from wrecking havoc as a werewolf is super neat. It took me a minute to kinda get what I had to do in the house, but I found the game interesting.

Idea is great, fighting with yourself. Love it. Execution is not that great. Its hard to place items/board on doors.

Great game, with a great concept, grapical style and mood! Visually it's very nice, i love the colour palette and the only thing I can critizise is the run animation, but that takes time to perfect for this style in such short time, so that's understandable.
Gameplay is great, i like the different mechanics, but I agree with others that the UI could be clearer to make you understand how long you have so you can plan your time better. And also, perhaps the first day could be a bit longer so you have time to familliarize yourself with the mechanics and controls, or perhaps have a optional tutorial day (so it's faster to replay when you know what to do).
Great work overall!
SUPER clever theming. I doubt I'll come across another game with this concept this LD!
I didn't terribly mind the fact that you couldn't see your timer. I thought it added an element of threat to the game, which works extremely well with the concept. You SHOULD be afraid of turning into a werewolf so this helps sell that feeling.
The legos were a hilarious touch seeing this big bad monster have to carefully step around them. It gets to even the best of us!
This was a very fun and unique jam game, really entertaining and a lot of polish.
I enjoyed my time with this one! The concept fits the mood very nicely, and is a unique take on it that I haven't seen yet. The gameplay works well and contains a good amount of depth from having to place objects smartly in order to make them last. I did get confused and wasted time initially because I didn't know you could switch items via the number keys, but once I understood that it was smooth sailing. The artstyle is unique and well executed, and the audio fits together with the art to produce a strong mood. I also did find it quite funny when the LEGOs were the most effective object in the entire game. Overall, I managed to last a week (though I got *really* close to making it to Day 8).
Great entry!

This is a very clever and original idea. Very refreshing gameplay. I was not unsure about the timing of the transformation. I wish I had some signal before it happens. ( Edit : I got it on my 3rd try )

Took me a while to get familiar with the controls so it was very challenging in the very beginning. Once you get around that it's very enjoyable, amazing what you where able to accomplish in such short time. Astounding visuals.
A very nice experience and nice graphics, if I would have any feedback it would probably be to maybe decrease the learing curve a bit by giving the player a little more time the first day, eitherway it was a really fun game

Hell yeah, you really nailed the mood of your game here, great art and unique atmosphere? The gameplay is effective and original, like a tower defense game against yourself. It's quite difficult though but I know that balancing is not the priority in a jam. Yet, your game remain playable and enjoyable. Nice work to all the team!

Really cool graphic design and overall mood! The controls were pretty easy to figure out and use, which is usually a struggle for jam games like this. I just wish I had a little more time on the first couple of days to get my bearings and build things up a bit. Great work!

Fun little concept, nice graphics and solid animations! The day/night cycle seems a bit fast which quickly means you get stuck setting up the same planks multiple times. But that's just a bit of balancing I think. Great entry!

Oh no I ran out of items lol! Great game, I had fun! It was getting hard to figure out how to keep me from leaving! Is there any sort of continually spawning item that would make this more long term? Or is it fully inevitable? XD

Fantastic game survived 7 days so close to 8 if I actually made it back upstairs as I kinda was too busy setting things up down stairs I ended up leaving way too early. The art style is amazing and wished I could explore more of what you have done but I couldnt risk leaving the house too much. such a I dont know how to describe it but the feeling of like a early horror movie type vibe. great game overall.
I had a lot of fun playing this. It was nice to be dropped in & immediately play. Felt like "self tower defense" :)
