"You were born dead." LOL!!! This is a great concept and a really pretty game. I was enjoying the vibe when out of nowhere I got rushed by a stampede of angry villagers haha
I really like the idea. the gameplay seemed unbalanced and could benefit from some more mechanics. The music is good and the visuals are fantastic!
The bulldozers are so great! The animation is so dramatic and feels me with a sense of dread for the animals below!!
For some reason I was a rather unpopular senator, can't imagine why! haha A very witty game! I liked the music as well. Great job :)
How do you splice cabbages? Sorry, i haven't been able to figure that part out yet on my own. I like the game so far though!
UPDATE: nevermind i just figured it out, sorry I'm a little slow haha
I enjoyed the theme, and the pace of the climbing felt pretty good. It would be nice to have some sense of the progress you are making toward the top, though i suspect since its an infinite tower that there is not top haha! For me I found that it was easier to just dodge the attacks and focus on jumping, at first i shot at the creatures but when they didn't die right away and I missed a jump I decided to just focus on jumping. Nice job!!
I was able to colonize a couple planets but was confused why every other planet i tried said i was too far way. The visuals look good and i love the transitions from the star map to the system view to the planet view. This is pretty neat though! Nice job :)
I struggled with the mechanics and couldn't quite figure out how to play this game correctly, but it looked really pretty and I got the sense that this team was on a good course with this game
This was executed very well. The game has nice sound and graphics and the quick flow from mission to mission with a quick upgrade choice in between worked nicely to keep me in a flow state. Impressive, especially for a solo entry.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? You did this in a weekend?! This game is awesome!! I was laughing hysterically during the story mode and I'm just so impressed by the game design and the implementation. This is a game worth spending money on
its hard to recognize the life at the start of the game, and to know what you are trying to destroy. I was about to give up when i finally noticed the little dots. then i was like "holy crap this is so cool!! Look at them colonizing the planets like little spores!!" I fired some asteroids at them and immediately felt guilty! I really like the theme of destroying life rather than preserving it. And i loved watching the projectiles arc around planets, so freaking cool!
I love the theme. My favorite were the clocks that blow up and steal time from you. Fantastic!
The art style and the 3d environment were really great!
My favorite thing about this game is the way the player character slowly changes to a zombie as they suffer attacks. The art style was rather cool in that regard! nice job :)
really like the music in this one. The minimap is very helpful in seeing the progress of the spread and where to put your efforts. nice job!
I enjoyed the 3d atmosphere. It made me laugh to have the coworkers yelling at me when i tried to talk to them
I enjoyed the theme. The air siren was a nice touch as well, it stressed me out knowing that the end was near. Nice work!
The art is beautiful as well as the story. I was getting all the happy vibes with my new snowman friend when in horror I remembered the theme of this game jam and immediately saw where this was heading! Really well done. Touching story
I experienced some bugs that prevented me from seeing some of the dialogue and I found the voice sound effects to be distracting but i really enjoyed the general mood of the game as well as the pixel art. Nice job. Cool concept!
@rialgar We honestly didn't think our game was winnable but your comment has caused us to think deeper about the game and how victory could technically be possible. We would love to see a recording of your stable state if you have the time. Either way, congrats on winning a game the devs considered unwinnable hahaha
I really enjoyed the gameplay mechanic where you need to dodge flying debris/asteroids as you are harvesting resources. Also enjoyed the music. Nice job
