I enjoyed this quite a bit! A nice feature to add in future version would be a jump, I think. Sound engineering was solid, and I like the idea of endless waves of zombies.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD50 → Last Stand

My favorite thing about this game is the way the player character slowly changes to a zombie as they suffer attacks. The art style was rather cool in that regard! nice job :)
Good job, but this game definitely needs some polishing in order for it to actually be enjoyable. Controls are clunky and it is impossible to get stuck.
OOmph! Braaaainnsss. Sorry for your purchase!
The graphics looked good and the blood splatter effect from hitting zombies was a nice touch. I disagree that the game could use a jump, because I think the lack of mobility increases the tension and forces you to really consider your movements, like 2d tank controls.
I could see this turning into a pretty awesome zombie survival game if you add more features like climbable ladders, buildings with barricades, windows, and doors and a lot more weapons/items.
@skleembof I didn't address the first comment before but you can in fact jump though now I wonder if it might be an interesting idea to remove that ability. Also I appreciate the suggestions, if I revisit this project I am sure to consider adding some of those features.
This is a very enjoyable game. The gameplay is fun and easy to learn. The artstyle is simple and nice. The turning/rotating the character could be a bit faster. Overall, this is a fun entry :D
I'm seriously impressed with what you managed to implement in half a day!? Usually, after half a day of development, there is nothing remotely playable in my games. Not sure if it was intented, but I found it funny and nice that you can already control the player before starting the game, so that you can practice using the controls.
