268 second! it's realy hard! but graphics are good and it's fun :)

fupi 2022-04-04 14:42

@Becher Damnn you got really far!

jungle 2022-04-04 15:15

Obrigado!

This game is fun! Reminds me a bit of tower defence! Great execution, the graphics are nice and the music is funky. Easy to learn, but hard to master :-)

This is really fun, it's simple enough to understand but complex enough to play for a while. The character designs are all really cute too! Would have liked some ability to lower the volume though since it was pretty loud on its own.

really fun game, nice idea! The tutorial helped explain it well and it was nice to see extra icons of the enemies on the turrets, so it doesn't just rely on color which helps for colorblind people as well! It was balanced well and the dialogue was funny, overall a pretty solid game :)

julienmc 2022-04-05 21:57

I really liked the story mode and the management aspect!

darkboulevard 2022-04-05 22:02

Super fun entry!! Polished game with a very interesting mechanic. I loved this!

nosleepjf 2022-04-05 22:07

ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? You did this in a weekend?! This game is awesome!! I was laughing hysterically during the story mode and I'm just so impressed by the game design and the implementation. This is a game worth spending money on

456.16 seconds and one carpal tunnel !

I took a little time to realize there was 3 plugs and not just the one in the middle.

I also took a little time to realize the fire meter decreases quite fast when nothing is plugged. So it's really useful to sometimes remove all the plugs, wait some seconds, then plug all you can do.

For the sake of my carpal tunnel, I would have loved that the game could be played with 4 keys (one for each gun type), and not just the mouse.

Having only 3 plugs and 4 type of monsters is a good idea, which keeps you on a constant stress. You are always wondering if your current plug config is the most optimized one.

The monster characteristics (speed, frequency of apparition) are well-balanced and really different for each type, so that you know how to deal with them.

The tutorial is quite confusing, because you "inevitably" lost it, and it does not learn you so much. I would say it's better to remove it.

The "lore" is totally WTF (why are you in a company, why do monsters look like this, ...) so it's great.

Funny little game overall.

Really fun mechanic indeed! Loved the music too. It has the potencial to be a pretty cool mobile game! Keep it going :muscle:

fupi 2022-04-05 22:53

@nosleepjf I did!! Thank you! I'm glad someone enjoyed my weird story

@recher Thank you for the much needed critique! I agree with you on pretty much every point. I would have liked to include keyboard controls, but this was initially created as a touch game, so I didn't figure it out in time (also it doesn't even work on mobile browsers so rip).

ds-nahogara 2022-04-06 19:30

YO!! THIS GAME IS DOPE! Kudos for adding extra slots for the plugs haha, the art is so cool, and i love how they loop though each type of enemy! After playing for a while, here's my best score "i sucked real bad xD" Captura2.PNG

Congratulations man, this is a real good game, PLAY IT YALL! :heartbeat:

gabriel-dias-oliveira-de-almeida 2022-04-07 17:38

I am so glad that a Brazilian did this game! It's sooooooo cool, everything about the game is amazing. The graphics are really simple but they are great, the gameplay mechanic it's really cool, and btw I realized as I was playing that it's a great game if you wanna make it bigger and release it in some platforms like Steam.

There is so much ways this game can go, so congratulations to you!

And btw, I loved the "Souls-like" Endless mode hahahahahahaha

ytniminty 2022-04-08 16:21

Really good game! super fun and very well made

eggsscrambled 2022-04-08 20:56

I really liked this game, the whole idea is so unique and random it's great. however If I had to recommend one constructive criticism Id say make the enemy's faster over time, I played the game in endless for quite a while and managed to keep all three of my hearts because it was too easy. After letting myself lose I saw I scored 476 seconds. This is by no means a big deal even more so for a jam game, just a suggestion if you keep working on the project, because it definitely does have potential.

gamebucha 2022-04-08 21:02

It`s the best game what I saw at this jam

ronanrory 2022-04-08 21:39

Like @nosleepjf , I'm *also* trying to comprehend how you managed to make a game THIS good IN SUCH A SHORT SPAN OF TIME!? I usually leave this for the end of my comments, but I'm gonna say it now: pat yourself on the back, I demand you! This is **PHENOMENAL!!** I decided to check your feed, and I had actually seen those earlier posts. I was *shocked* to find out that THIS GAME was what became of that little demo!

Though I'm a bit confused; is the story mode (web version) supposed to have only one gun, and you can't do anything against the other enemy types? I doubt that was intentional. But apart from that, the gameplay is just amazing. I knew this will get a high fun score when I seriously had a difficult time stopping!

To put this into perspective: I lasted 1007.94 seconds, and I had to MAKE myself stop!

Actually, that's the only problem I have; I think the game's *just a little* too easy. And I'm not sure how to fix that; I'm nowhere **_NEAR_** clever enough for such in idea in the first place, let ALONE improving upon it!

Oh, yeah, the graphics look nice as well. I'm surprised this entry wasn't already out of the Danger Zone when I got to it! I tend to be late to things.

I have nothing else to say.

fupi 2022-04-09 03:40

@eggsscrambled Thank you! I agree. I tend to be very cautious with difficulty for jam games: if I, the dev, can beat the game flawlessly with zero damage, it's probably still too hard. xd Unfortunately looks like it didn't work this time. Endless games that are so easy you have to lose on purpose suck..

fupi 2022-04-09 03:44

@ronanrory Thanks so much!! My secret is just being very obsessive and unhealthy for the weekend. xd

I agree with the feedback on the difficulty and didn't realize that when first published.

Also for the story mode, maybe that wasn't clear but the Game Over is scripted. :d If you click Try Again, you get sent to the next level, and each level you get a new gun.

miltonnh25 2022-04-09 23:58

Great job on the game. It was a cool concept that you executed on very well. The variety in enemy speed and numbers for the different types worked really well in making the need for each tower different (some required longer times to sit and shoot while other you could quickly plug in and take out as needed). I would love to see this game continued.

jezzamon 2022-04-21 05:44

Well made, and well polished! Yep, agree with what others said that the difficulty felt a bit too easy when playing the endless mode. I liked the tutorial though!

Well done!

ilikescifi 2022-04-22 13:31

Oh i just saw this one! Ok honestly... this concept is fantastic! Wow!
