First 5 star innovation rating I found so far. Really creative!

It's got cute graphics, but the inverted mouse controls and lack of contrast in the wall colors makes it really hard for me to play. At least it speaks clearly to the theme of the jam, which is more than most submissions this far.
The level of quality visuals you could achieve in just a weekend is unbeliveable, Jonathan. Very well done. At first I was thinking of suggesting making the bridges a bit shorter because you spend so much time running back and forth, but really that's just more time to appreciate the fantastic view.
Played over 20 games in LDJam 50 so far and this is honestly my favorite by a stretch. Everything about the game was great. Did you make the background music yourself? I was indifferent about it at first but as the 'lore' revealed itself I realized how somber the music is with its distortions and all. After about 10 minutes in I was really tense and couldn't even tell why. I played the WebGL version and it started lagging after about 20 minutes, so I downloaded the Windows version to try later tonight. GREAT JOB!
Loved EVERYTHING about this entry. And it fits with the theme in such a creative, refreshing way: pet owners being ignorant or disrespectful towards their companion's needs means their demise is inevitable. Visiting the vet is just a way to delay it if you're not willing to educate yourself and change your priorities.
Cool tower defense! I feel like not enough games in the genre explore the economy management side of things.
Entirely underestimated the difficulty until around the 2 minute mark... Loved the little Risk of Rain-style difficulty ramping.
Controls were unresponsive for me. But great graphics and cool concept!
*Great* use of shadows and camera culling - scared the living shit out of me.
I REALLY wanted to play because this seems like a very cool concept, but nothing happens after you click one of the buildings' button. There are also 2 zip files to download, which are seemingly different versions of the game. This happened on both of them.
Nice! Making an RTS - no matter how simple - within such a short time constraint is a great deed.
@leiv-erik Hey! I actually had the same issue after building for WebGL, but I wasn't able to reproduce the issue within the Unity editor and my colleagues weren't having any issues at all. We were short on time, so I just hoped it was a very rare issue and let it go :stuck_out_tongue: Thanks for the feedback!
@whysguy52 Thanks for the feedback! I'm curious about the rendering issue you witnessed. We tested on a small variety of environments and couldn't find anything like that - except specifically for the plastic pool being carried (which was just a camera clipping issue that was not within our priorities as time was short).
@emaigualmc2-art Yeah, we didn't have the best of times building for WebGL. For my next jams, I'll use a more stable version of Unity if I'm building for the web. You're the second person to report an issue with the camera, which I also had myself but only outside of the Unity editor, it's the sort of bug that's horrible to catch in such a small amount of time.
@lanalux glad you liked our game! Love your dev streams btw
Beautiful, simple aesthetic and great music. Were you aiming for Nova Drift-esque shape-based models?
